We recently returned form WDW and had a great time! The tips in the book were valuable. It helped our family enjoy most of the rides and attractions with minimal wait. 15 minutes was the max wait time - even in peak season, mid-August on a Monday afternoon. The tips on how to use the Fastpass system helped us to walk on to most rides. Other attractions were a brief wait. Tips for parade watching gave us choice seats and views. The book needs to be updated for 2008 - some attractions don't have fastpass anymore. Other than that, great buy! A must read before heading to WDW with the family. The book also provides tips for Universal and SeaWorld which is a bonus.

This book made all the difference in our family of 6's successful visit to Disneyworld. The format is easy to follow and recommendations were excellent. Even visiting Disney in busy July we did everything we wanted to do by following the advice of this excellent book!

This book was a great help in planning our trip to Disney in September. This book has great information on the resorts, parks, and restaurants. It also has some great secrets that everyone should know. It made our planning very easy.

This is a great book to read before you get to Disney. I especially appreciated the "scare factor" for the rides/attractions. We just got back from our vacation and we had a great time because I had lots of information to make it a wonderful experience for all of us.

There was nothing particularly unique about this book - no real noteworthy tips on where to go with little ones - what rides to avoid - height restrictions would have been great. I was looking for a book that was really geared toward taking a toddler or young child to disney and this book was just a little too generic.

We've been on many trips to WDW, but after reading this book I wished I'd had it for the first one. Of all the WDW with Kids books I've read, this is the best. Lots of helpful hints and ideas on what to bring and what to see. Recommended highly!

This book was very helpful in planning out Disney trip. I wish it would have explained the rides a little more (which ones had loud noises for toddlers). Otherwise it helped us navigate the parks and plan our meals accordingly.

I found the reviews and comparison charts very helpful in selecting our hotel and restaurants. The "insiders tips" were also very insightful. I relied on other guides to provide more detail about the parks and attractions, however.

We used the 2007 edition last summer and the book was fairly useful. One of the biggest selling points were the breakdown of the rides. This goes for both the overview(scary or not ?) and the charts that break out height requirements. We did find some information to be seriously outdated(note to editors before heading to press). That said, the book - in combination with Disney podcasts and online communities - prepared us to get the most out of our family's WDW vacation.

The Disney section is not updated. Several changes that occured in late 2007 are not included nor are many that are planned for 2008 - particularly related to dining. Birnbaum's 2008 contains much more accurate information. This book was highly recommended and we were VERY disappointed. You can also find most of her tips for free on the web. We will be returning our copy.

I love this book! It is the best book for traveling to Disney World with children. We have traveled to Disney World every year since my son was 17 months old. My youngest took her first trip at 9 months old. I could not have planned so well without this book. My kids are now 6 years old and almost 4 years old and we have bought this book 4 times. It really helps to break down each restaurant and attraction based on price, atmosphere and how kid-friendly it is. Great book!

This is our first trip to Disney in a very long time, and the first time with kids (age 6). This book provides wonderful tips, and information for families. I went through the book onces and just marked pages I wanted to come back and reread. I've now highlighted all sorts of tips to use when we go. Highly recommended

I found this book to be very helpful in planning our trip to Orlando. We are staying "off property" this trip so all those little tips in the book have been a real time and stress saver!

6 years ago, we purchased Kim Wiley's Disney book and were so pleased at the insider knowledge and depth of information that I just bought the 2008 addition for our spring trip. I am NOT kidding when I tell you how absolutely amazing her advise, tips and pointers are! This book, as did the last one we purchased, will save us time, money and contribute to another memory making family vacation!! It is THE BEST BOOK of its kind on the market!!!

But just in case you're looking to get away from Disney (and the kids too), check out this travel guide Real Florida: A Travel Guide for the Passionate Yet Practical (The Budget Romance Traveler series). It does a pretty good job of pointing out excellent places to visit in Florida outside Orlando's resort world. Like Micanopy and Cedar Key, for instance.

It is obvious that the author has spent a lot of time inside the Orlando theme parks and really knows what she's talking about. Plus, it is written from a parent's point of view so everything families need for know, like the ride height restrictions, are included. This guidebook is an excellent resource for families planning to visit the Orlando theme parks.

We started using Wiley's WDW with kids when our child was young, and it's as good as ever. The author always includes the latest information, so it's a useful guide whether you're a WDW veteran or rookie.

A great way to navigate the maze of Disney World with your kids in tow. Wiley never misses a trick, the lines, the food, the fun, the entire park experience. NEVER get in your car on on a plane to Disney World without this book in your hand. It's a must.

Thanks to Ms. Wiley's insightful do's & don't's--the only better way to visit this famous theme park is with Mickey, himself. I saved time, money, and much frustration using this guide. It was my Bible for five days, second only to sippy cups and diaper wipes.

Full of great money-saving ideas. Kim's books have always give extensive coverage of the parks, and this edition covers all of the changes and new projects that have just opened. Well worth the money.
