THIS STORY IS A GOOD ONE. IT SHOWS THAT YOU SHOULD STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN AND DO WHAT YOU THINK IS RIGHT FOR YOU AND THOSE YOU LOVE. IT IS A GREAT COMING OF AGE STORY. I AM HOLDING MY BREATHE FOR THE NEXT STORY.

I love the Vampire Kisses series, it's cute & fun and I've enjoyed reading all the books so far. As I'm going through a "crazy for vampires" faze, this is probably the fifth vampire series I've read so far and it compares really well with all the others. I'm sure you'll enjoy reading it as much as I have.

I love the way the author of this novel writes. I have all 6 books she has written in the Vampire Kisses collection and have fallen in love with the way she tells stories. Never a bored moment because she never uses useless FILLER! I hate fillers, especially when it's boring, and Ellen never does that. All excitement, all the time! Although, I must admit she does get a little cliche in her writing... I mean, A LOT cliche...but it's okay, doesn't take much away from the plot.

This book is probably the last in the series, or I hope it is. Anything else might be a little bit repetative. Many of the plots of her books seem to be: Hot, vampire boyfriend goes bye-bye, girl tries to find him. To tell you the truth, I never get bored of it. Partly because I wish I were Raven half the time!...okay, ALL THE TIME.

This book was interesting and a quick read - however it was quite teeny bopper! Perfect for the young adults looking for a vampire story without the gore!

The best of it's series, and the series is pretty awesome. Good mental and emotional conflict with an ending that leaves you satisfied. From a mild yet powerful series, this book shows that things are never as they appear, and even people who seem to have everything in common, have difficulty seeing eye to eye all the time. As always, the author keeps a constant shot of reality based problems wound tightly within the surreality of the vampire world.

Ellen Schreiber takes fans of the Vampire Kisses novels back to its delightful Dullsville beginnings in this sixth installment of the popular series.

Raven is spending her summer in bliss. She and her vampire boyfriend Alexander are alone in his mansion, cuddling in his coffin, spreading black rose petals aplenty. Love is in the air, and Raven can see no sun on her favorite cloudy horizon. But fall comes, and with it, Alexander's parents. While Raven longs to be part of the family permanently, the heads of this dark household may have other plans.

When the mysterious note arrives in Alexander's mailbox, both he and Raven know change is coming. Raven is also dreading the return to school and junior year. She is being asked about a future career, when all she wants is the immortal bite from Alexander and to spend the rest of her life keeping him company while he paints. One of her first assignments is to pair up with the dreaded preppie Trevor Mitchell and interview each other about what they really want. She has always wanted to be a vampire, but what if she had a mortal future? Best friend Becky helps her come up with an alternative idea for an alternative girl.

In the meantime, it seems like everyone in Dullsville has spotted Alexander's elegant parents except Raven. She takes matters into her own hands and is soon invited to a delicious elegant dinner with the vampire crew. But then her mom and dad invite them over for dinner, and Raven is mortified at the contrast. Oddly enough, the parents hit it off, and all seems well again.

Then Alexander reveals why his parents have returned, and it is a reason that could split up the pair geographically forever. Raven is finally having calm time with her beloved beau, away from other vampire threats, and now his parents are going to tear them apart? She begs Alexander to make her his permanent vampire companion, but he forces her to think about what that really means. Forever is, of course, forever. Instead, they hatch a plan to keep his parents from selling the mansion and splitting them up.

Raven has always felt like an outsider in Dullsville. This fun story of how she embraces other outsiders in Alexander's parents is a great continuation to this enjoyable series.

I think the book was good, don't get me wrong, but it felt like ellen schreiber was dragging things out. It didn't have much of a point. I could have gone without this but if you're a fan, it worth the time to read it.

Raven and her vampire boyfriend, Alexander, have had the perfect summer. With fall comes the beginning of school and the ending of their nights together.

The arrival of Alexander's parents makes things worse. While they're seen all over town, Alexander waits to introduce Raven to his parents, making her feel both neglected and hurt.

However, once they meet, she adores his parents and they seem to like her. Before long, Raven's family and Alexander's family start socializing - with Raven and Alexander on hand to make sure Raven's parents don't discover the truth.

But Alexander's parents didn't come to town to visit, they came to sell the mansion and take their son back to Europe with them. When the devastating news hits the couple, they vow to stop the sale.

ROYALD BLOOD continues with the romantic vampire saga of Raven and Alexander in a Gothic tale of love, loss, and friendship.

Vampire kisses get better and better as I read them. But I would like to start to see when Raven Will finally make her choice about becoming or staying human. Alexander is always dreamy, not to mention I love his and Ravens fashion, it one of the things I look forward to in the book. When Raven finally meets Alexanders parents it was cool to read that they take pride in the dark fashions as well.

Trevor continues to annoy and baffle me, due to the fact that he loves to pick on raven but also like to hit on her. Does he love her or what? He can't seem to pick. My Fave part of the book was the auctioning of Raven's painting, when it was bought for a high bid from someone raven didn't really expect.

The book was fun and Funny as well, I loved there up and down moments. It also made me cry a little, but I highly recommend this book.

I have read all 6 of these books. The book is to easy to fiquire out the ending. Needs more suspense to it. But they are ok. They just leave you with a bad cliffhanger.

At first when I was reading it I thought maybe it was time to give up the series because it is just a little too young for me. I am 37 and I like young adult books but this one is very "pure". They kiss and that's all, ever. No talk about hormones or anything. I find that a little unrealistic (He's almost eighteen). Also, the vampire rules are never brought up like - 1. Alexander was born a vampire - will he continue to age and if so, to what. His parents are vamps but they are the age of her parent - will they stop ageing? 2. **spoiler** Raven ask him to bite her again and he said" It's not time". I wish he would explain. If I were Raven, I would be asking "are you sure you want me forever"? He claims he wants her forever but he doesn't want to sentence her existence to his but hey, the girl wants it more than a fat lady wants a burger, but again, it is never discussed about her growing old and dieing before him if he doesn't change her. The book is a little to goody goody.

I did start to enjoy the book as usual. It is a sweet book that I would want my thirteen year old to read, but for me, maybe it's time to say goodbye.

Also, I would also like to see a little bit of a love triangle with Alexander, Raven, and Trevor. I think it would be cute to see Alexander jealous.

Still - the book was a good read.

*spoilers below*
Goth girl Raven can never catch a break. Just when her and Alexander's relationship seems to be out of danger---think again. Alexander's parents, Cassandra and Constantine are the classic vampires. Cassandra is pale with the confidence of a queen and the attitude of a movie star, and Raven realizes that she's admiring her role model more than her own mother. Alexander's father, Constantine is the classic vampire all the way, dark with incredible eyes, with a cane and cape in tow.

All is well until they realize and fret over Raven suffering the same fate as Alexander's grandmother: alone in the world because of her love for vampires. They make to move back to Romania now that the feud with the Maxwells (Jagger, Luna, and their younger brother) is over! Who could bare to be seperated from their true love? No one, especially not our dark duo; so the pair create a devious plan to spread rumors so the mansion will go unsold. Which works.. until it doesn't.

Raven seems to grow mentally mature in this book than in the others. She and Becky see eye to eye about their boyfriends and their "not so close" friendship. And she also thinks about her future--not as a vampire but career and passions. She's able to see past Trevor's front and tells the truth of him to him, thus changing him (slightly) into a better (yea right) arch nemisous/stalker. (Seriously, read about the portait in his room and dare to tell me otherwise.)

Overall, Royal Blood is a good read if you liked the others. But I wish Jagger would come back into the story. Trevor's character is becoming less annoying and more sad. Pathetic sad, not tragic. And the "Naper Paper" I'm assuming is supposed to be a shortened, easier try at explaining the dreaded Senior Project. :P
