The Ultimate Tea Diet: How Drinking Tea Can Stop Your Cravings, Curb Your Appetite, and Help You Lose 10 Pounds in Four Weeks

Tea has been widely recognized for its amazing health benefits. It can help:

• Boost the immune system
• Lower blood sugar and cholesterol
• Prevent cavities and tooth decay
• Slow the aging process
• Decrease high blood pressure
• Prevent arthritis
• Sharpen mental focus and concentration
• Reduce the risk of stroke, heart disease, cancer, and more...

Now, it's time for tea to be recognized, not only for all of these wonderful health benefits, but also for its ability to help tea drinkers lose weight.

The Ultimate Tea Diet harnesses tea's incredible weight-loss potential in a straightforward plan for losing weight in a safe and healthy way. Simply find a tea you love, drink it all day, follow an easy food plan, and see the pounds fall off.

Tea's ability to encourage weight loss comes from the synergy of its three main ingredients: caffeine to stimulate, L-theanine to neutralize the harmful side effects of caffeine and act as an appetite suppressant, and EGCG, which causes you to burn fat faster and more efficiently. In other words, tea reduces your appetite and stimulates your metabolism.

Don't worry--you won't go hungry on the Ultimate Tea Diet. The food plan includes tasty tea-based meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as tempting choices for midday snacks and sweet treats. All are made deliciously with tea so not only is your food incredibly flavorful, but you're also getting the health and weight-loss benefits in every single bite you enjoy.

Drinking tea--and maintaining a conscientious focus on good health--can easily become a way of life. Slim down to a leaner, more energetic, and healthier you with the Ultimate Tea Diet.

Within a few days of starting this diet, my appetite was shrinking! The tea really works well as an appetite suppressant. I'd reccommend this to anyone who likes tea and wants to lose weight. It's great that the book includes a meal plan for people who like structure and food suggestions for people who want to be more flexible.
You don't absolutely have to eat the foods "Dr. Tea" mentions in the book, you can eat other low calorie dishes from the basic suggestions (you can even eat lean steak, it's on the list of protiens!) provided that you drink enough tea. And it's not too terribly hard to get the amount of tea it specifies: just brew a bunch in the evening, cool it down, and put it in water bottles in the fridge for the next day. Or make a thermos of hot tea before you go to work. Take tea with you wherever you go, and you'll have no problem drinking enough.
You're supposed to drink tea when you're hungry between meals instead of snacks. What I've been doing is drinking tea when I'm hungry, then if I'm still hungry after that, I eat something small and heatlhy, like a piece of fruit. That works better for me.
"Dr. Tea" even has suggestions for what tea to drink when a craving hits. Granted, many of the teas he suggests are his own blends which he sells at [...], but then again he's the only one who's come up with teas specifically designed to satisfy cravings.
All in all, this is the best weight loss plan I've ever tried!

This book recommends that you drink at least 8 cups of tea per day. If you're making hot tea, this is really inconvenient, especially if you're a busy person. I bought some of his teas and I was disappointed -they weren't as good as I hoped.

The Ultimate Tea Diet changed my life is so many positive ways. In the first month I lost 12 pounds, increased my energy, and re-gained my confidence. (I'm currently on month two of the diet and continue to feel better and better each day!)

So much more than a diet... settle down with this book in hand and you'll feel as if you were sharing a cup of tea in a friendly, cozy setting with Dr. Tea in person. Throughout The Ultimate Tea Diet, Mark Ukra takes you on a wonderful and uplifting journey, discovering the riches of tea including its ability to boost the immune system, help lower cholesterol, sharpen mental focus, and even slow the aging process. And of course, aids in weight loss.

Dr. Tea equips you with all the knowledge you could ever ask for to choose teas and tea forms that work for you, including how to select teas to help curb cravings for sweets and other weight saboteurs. There's also excellent advice on preparing yourself mentally and physically, along with making wise-diet choices to aid your health and diet journey, and complete fourteen day plan to get you started. You'll even learn how to make your own tea concoctions and how to cook with tea to enhance your tea diet experience.

Surprisingly, the book also contains interesting and enlightening narrative about the history, cultivation, and unique properties of tea. The Ultimate Tea Diet is not just for those who are seeking weight loss help-- people with health concerns and tea lovers alike will enjoy reading The Ultimate Tea Diet.

Overall, The Ultimate Tea Diet is fun and engaging, chock full of information and inspiration, and well worth the read!

I purchased this book for my new Kindle, and read through the entire thing in 1 day!! This has a wealth of information that is simply invaluable! I found myself "clipping" and printing out tons of information to pass on to friends and family!

What I love most about this book are the recipes!! Usually when you start a new diet and look over the the meal plans, you can feel yourself kind of groan... In contrast, when I read through the 14 day meal plan this book offers I found myself saying "Oh I like that"or "MMM, sounds good". I even went right out and bought some groceries to make a few of the meals, even though I haven't started the diet yet! Finally, I have found a mealplan that incorporates food that I actually like to eat!

We first saw Dr.Tea on the HSN and picked up his Starter Kit. We've been drinking his tea since!! Dropped our coffee habit and expensive Starbucks, who needs it??
We never imagined the variety of flavors and sensations available, and now we can loose some extra pounds at the same time! Sounds like a winner to me...

With what you save at Starbucks, you can easily afford this book, buy it!

If you want to take off those pounds and keep them off then this book is for you! For the past 25 years I've had jasmine green tea several times a day. Until Dr. Tea's book came out I never made the connection between my tea comsumption and the consistent numbers which always come up on my scales. It was a lightbulb moment for me; I never realized that weight loss and my consistent weight were as simple as having a cup of tea. Dr. Tea offers some of the best teas I've ever tasted such as Caramel(my favourite next to jasmine), gingerbread and apple pie. Next time you feel the urge for a desert, have one of these teas instead - you'll be pleasantly surprised at how a cup of tea can satifsy your craving for that desert. The recipes in his book are new and delicious! The tea rubs are an excellent way to not only add flavour, but also get that extra bit of tea in your system. Next time you think you've tried everything to lose and maintain your weight, give The Ultimate Tea Diet a go - I'm speaking from 25 years of tea experience and it has definitely worked for me!

As many American's, I think we are quite naïve when it comes to tea; the varieties available, along with the health benefits of each. Much like enjoying wine, tea has a fascinating history and an enormous variety of flavors. I really appreciated how "Dr Tea" shared this wonderful world in such an informative and useful way. I am now comfortable with knowing when and why to order and enjoy either Black, Oolong, Green, White, Herbal/Tisane or Rooibos. This has really been an eye opener. I am excited and having fun as I explore and learn the complexities and creative varieties of each. The book even coached me on how to find the teas that I would love as I continue to pursue my diet goals. The chapter on putting down that cup of coffee really hit home. There are numerous great points to give up your cup of coffee, along with caffeinated energy drinks and diet pills. I still have my morning caffeine, simply in a much kinder and manageable dose for my body and health goals. I highly recommend this book and am really pleased how the Ultimate Tea Diet "Craving Teas" are helping me past my typical cheat moments and I am eating less. Thanks, Dr Tea!

Like most men, "tea" wasn't in my vocabulary. My fiancée got this book for "US" so we can look our best for our wedding this spring. To make her happy, we read the Ultimate TEA Diet together at night. It did not take long before I realized I was actually learning something of value from this guy and that there may be some common sense to his diet approach. Fair or not, I have lost more weight initially than my fiancée, but we have enjoyed the process together and talk about new teas we try each day. I previously drank a lot of coffee (4-6 cups daily) and sticking to the black and oolong teas initially helped me get past the headaches friends warned me about. The book is informational and gives you a new outlook towards caffeine, acid and your bodies Ph. Full of recipes; rather than a diet, we are beginning some lifestyle changes that even a "meat and potatoes" guy like myself can enjoy. Pleasantly surprised - enjoy the book!

What a great book!
Imagine, making tea fun!!
I love this book....nothing boring here.
I keep hearing so much lately about tea....now I know why.
The Ultimate Tea Diet tells you everything you need to know about tea .....how to brew the perfect cup of tea, how to make unbelievably delicous tea shakes, how to cook with tea, and so much more.
While I quickly jumped forward to the diet chapters, I found myself
working my way back to earlier chapters....which were very interesting.
I now start each day with green tea, and substitute my snacking with green tea, or frosteas (CappuTeano and mint chocolate chip ice cream my favorites).
I'm losing weight AND inches....It's only been three weeks, but I can almost wear my "skinny" jeans again!
Be sure to check out all the "craving teas" Dr. Tea talks about....that's the fun part.
FYI, the Ultimate Tea Diet website offers all of Dr Tea's craving teas, which makes the diet easy.
Thank you Dr Tea!

I have read this book and found it to be totally fascinating and informative. I have already started the diet and have started shedding pounds but more importantly inches! It's great... they are just melting away. Plus I have more energy and feel great. I bought some of the craving teas on line and love the way they taste. I have a real sweet tooth and they have really helped me stay away from my daily dose of candy and ice cream.
If you want to lose weight and feel great, you have to read this book and try the diet. I'm telling you ....it really works:)

On January 1, I cozied up with my copy of The Ultimate Tea Diet, steaming mug of coffee in hand, and by page eleven I was firing up the teakettle.

"Now rise, and show your strength," says Dr. Tea, quoting from Jerome K. Jerome (Three Men in a Boat). "Be eloquent, and deep, and tender; see, with a clear eye, into Nature, and into life: spread your white wings of quivering thought, and soar, a god-like spirit, over the whirling world beneath you, up through long lanes of flaming stars to the gates of eternity."

If that's not a worthy New Year's resolution, I don't know what is.

With a collection of more than three-dozen teapots, some from Jerome's own Staffordshire, England, you'd think I'd know how to use them by now. But, like many of my other good intentions, they languish on bookshelves, windowsills, kitchen counters, even my toilet tank, hoping that someday I'll put them to good use.

Flushing away the dust from one of my favorites -- a 1940s vintage "pink plume" from Hall China -- with some hot water from the teakettle, I then coated the inside of the vessel with a thin layer of organic white tea, a thoughtful gift from my son's new girlfriend. Mark Ukra's instructions are easy to follow, and soon I was sipping the delicate brew, my mind wandering to China's southern Fujian province in 650 A.D. White tea was produced there during the Tang Dynasty, but believe me, this beverage tastes nothing like Tang.

The rituals and ceremonies of tea interest me more than its weight-loss properties, though I've benefited before from the combination of tea's secret ingredients -- caffeine, L-theanine, and epigallocatechine-3-gallate (EGCC). I didn't know these ingredients by name, but I guess I've always had a feeling that tea was good for you. Last year I lost 22 pounds eating a balanced diet, drinking tea instead of coffee, and exercising 5 days a week.

I don't think you will find me on the Ultimate Tea Diet, but I'm quite sure you WILL find me in Dr. Tea's kitchen -- his tea-infused recipes are just too tempting, and the book belongs on every cook's bookshelf. Tonight I'm whisking together the ingredients for Rosemary Orange Tea Chicken; tomorrow morning my blender will be humming with a Fruit Tea Smoothie. January, here I come!
