What brilliant read is this?!! Here, a litany of LIES found at the heart of the program that committed the atrocity of 911 is nailed to the door of the White House.

Mr Griffin has supplied the world with a belt of information as incendiary as the thermitic materials found in the dust of 911. Its a biblical thing. From the ashes. From the dust. From the computer DNA sequences of a LIE constructed around simulations so fraudulent they created a new science quantum forever hereafter known as 'the speed of deceit'. Measured by NISTs shyam sunder at 6.5 seconds for 47 stories. Thats how long it took for the truth to be buried. Until now.

NIST better shudder to its miserable bones. No more important a book has been written in nine years.

Despite US Federal reports, numerous eyewitness interviews with firemen on the scene, who described molten metal "flowing like lava", at the base of the towers, aerial thermal photos indicating intensely heated metal underneath towers 1, 2 & 7. This is so highly documented and observed that it is irrefutable.

Despite all this, John Gross, the director of the NIST, flatly denies the existence or evidence of molten metal, iron.
This is huge, because the presence of molten metal completely contradicts the NIST report on the 9/11 building collapses.

An excerpt: "In no instance did NIST report that steel in the WTC towers melted due to the fires. The melting point of steel is about 1,500 degrees Celsius (2,800 degrees Fahrenheit). Normal building fires and hydrocarbon (e.g., jet fuel) fires generate temperatures up to about 1,100 degrees Celsius (2,000 degrees Fahrenheit). NIST reported maximum upper layer air temperatures of about 1,000 degrees Celsius (1,800 degrees Fahrenheit) in the WTC towers (for example, see NCSTAR 1, Figure 6-36)."

Always reluctant to get entangled in so-called 'conspiracy theories' (a term the author rejects) I am nonetheless confronted by the fact that, as David Ray Griffin makes clear, much of the defense of the conventional account makes no sense, and is pseudo-science. This is especially clear in the various accounts of the collapse of the World Trade Center, and especially WTC 7. The point is that one should avoid speculation and stick with what is empirically hard to avoid. The data on the collapse of the World Trade center is precisely an instance of this, and a good place to start (after, perhaps, The New Pearl Harbor, one of Griffin's earliest works.

Another work of fantasy from DRG. If you buy into the work of a theologian to understand science, you're part of the problem. Good old explosive demolition, except of course the explosives are silent. Magical super thermite. Ignoring the full collapse to represent the collapse of the out facade as the entirety of the collapse. Here is what David Scott of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat says about controlled demolition:

Against this you have the ae911truth movement which has support from approximately 80 licensed structural or civil engineers, who have signed its petition. Now in proportion to the industry the level of support that the 911truth movement is tiny. However I can understand why 80 people did, because the response from government was slow and the one side videos the 911truth movement show are very compelling, if you do not review them critically.
Some people will never believe we landed on the moon and some people will never believe that the planes that crashed into the towers, eventually brought them down. From my perspective both of these statements are equally preposterous. However the 911truth movement only provides one side of the argument and any organization that does so is not interested in truth. There are numerous answers to the questions they raise and the overwhelming evidence is that CD played no part in the collapse.
Well, if you only look at the 911truth videos then you have to remember that you are only looking at one side of the argument. Much of the evidence is circumstantial and is presented in a highly biased and emotive way. I have taken several of my family members through the ae911truth presentation and videos when they first came out and there was nothing that I saw, that could not be explained as a reasonable part of a collapse. Much of this information can be extracted from the NIST reports or from various contradictory web-sites..
My main concern is that the debate is that the CD theory is a distraction. 9/11 raises many issues about building performance, terror attacks and how structural steel behaves in extreme fire conditions. These issues need to be properly discussed and debated and every time the conversation starts, then CD takes us wildly of course. [End quote]

I consider this book amd this author as the "OMEGA" of all 9-11 reporting, i.e. it exposes the final insult to America. This explains all manner of crime and fraud and points at Israel as the primary expediter of 9-11. There were no arab terrorists, there was a planned demolition that was botched and had to be a dangerous conclusion to this Zionist plot.

The existing reviews already describe the essence of what Professor Griffin had tried to achieve with this book and amazon should in the future not post reviews by individuals who admit to not having read the book.
Although the book is not necessarily easy reading, because of the detailed expositions it contains, it ought to be given the widest possible circulation. Its importance resides in the meticulous analysis of NIST's claims and why they not only amount to bad science but to outright falsehood; a polite word for lies. The information in the book can only be discounted by persons who willfully intend to disregard the evidence instead of thinking about it.
The main reasons why the NIST explanations cannot be valid have already been mentioned by other reviewers. I would only like to add that an explanation, which is supposed to be regarded as the final answer to the puzzle why WTC7 collapsed, based entirely on computer modeling, without recourse to physical evidence, would be suspect even if the model were credible. In the current situation key aspects were omitted from the model and instead of leading to a reasonable explanation the model was designed to prove the official government version. Griffin, as a philosopher who values correct thought, rightly points out that bad science might still accidentally produce a correct result and even good science can lead to a false result when key information is not available. But deliberate manipulation of scientific work for political purposes, as has occurred here, should not be tolerated. This is the key fact.
The tragedy of America's current situation is that the mainstream media continue to spread the official dogma rather than serving the role of watchdog to keep the government honest. The 9/11 catastrophe is the major crime of this new century and we must insist on the creation of a truly impartial international commission with subpoena powers to investigate what really happened. Let the chips fall where they may; the truth shall make us free and we have to thank Professor Griffin and all the members of the various "truth" groups for their continued efforts.

Why the Official Report about 9/11 is Unscientific and False
A book by David Ray Griffin

The headline, "Just Say No to NIST" (the National Institute of Standards and Technology) is purposely patterned after Nancy Reagan's "Just Say No to Drugs." In the case of David Griffin's new book, The Mysterious Collapse of World Trade Center 7, the NIST lies, half truths, omissions, and the outright corruption of honest science are the administration's dope, administered by NIST, to lull inquiring minds into believing the fantasy of their lies.

NIST's violations of scientific method, as Griffin clearly explains, represent what he terms the "politicization of science," used to delude Americans to accept the Bush administrations' conspiracy theory. That is, the World Trade Center Tower 7, the Tower not hit by an airliner, fell into its own footprint in six seconds at 5:20 PM on 9/11 as a result of minor fires, not explosives planted in the 47-story steel-framed building to create a classic internal demolition--uncannily resembling so many we've seen in movies or on TV.

Griffin points out that the only two other buildings in history to have fallen from fires were the steel-framed WTC Towers 1 and 2 earlier that morning. Any and all previous fires in steel-framed buildings, those that burned for hours, even days, did not fell the buildings, let alone explode them, like Towers 1 and 2, into a pyroplastic cloud that hung for months in the skies over Ground Zero and Manhattan, and rolled through the streets of the financial district, graying it like a huge graveyard.

In Griffin's steady hands, the story of WTC 7 becomes the fulcrum to understand how Towers 1 and 2 were felled with similar internal demolitions, as opposed to the fires caused by the jetliners impact, how Towers 1 and 2 then exploded into their own footprints as they fell within 10 second free-falls, which Griffin explains in great engineering and science based detail.

Of course, Griffin reminds you that NIST itself is a government agency, working for the US Department of Commerce, subject to control by the White House, not unlike the 9/11 Commission, which was controlled by its White House author Philip Zelikow who wrote the outline of the Commission's inquiry and findings before the group ever met.

Working with physicist Steven Jones and a battery of top scientists and engineers, Griffin has shepherded a vast amount of information into The Mysterious Collapse of World Trade Center 7, to present the explosive results of their findings. Jones, formerly a physics professor at Brigham Young University was released from his job because of his studies. They were of samples of dust gathered from Ground Zero, at Tower 7, as well as Tower 1 and 2's sites. They all indicated the presence of super nanotech versions of thermite and/or thermate (thermite plus sulphur for added heat).

The nanotechnology allowed the thermate to be broken down into minute, even more potent particles which could be aerosolized and used to spray on or within the walls of the towers, to be ignited for later havoc. The fact that NIST refused even to consider nano-thermate presence and destructive potential, but rather summarily dismissed the use of it, is a sin against science, as Griffin points out. It is a sin, too, against 2800 souls who were lost on 9/11, as well as all those Americans who innocently believe the administration conspiracy theory.

This is not to mention the second wave of slaughter, the many illnesses and deaths from cancer, pulmonary disease and body poisoning, which are occurring with first responders who worked non-stop on the pile for up to eight months. These are not the illnesses of mere smoke inhalation, but of the massive number of toxic substances exploded into the air by the literal pulverizing of the three towers that each sunk in free fall to the ground into their own footprints.

Fire doesn't pulverize a million tons of concrete. High-powered explosives do. Griffin brings a plethora of examples of NIST's violations of scientific method which ignore or skirt, omit or bluntly lie about the questions raised by the presence of these explosive substances, just as FEMA and the EPA denied their by-products devastation throughout the WTC and New York City, making it the greatest environmental disaster in US history.

Griffin documents the facts of the nanotech-thermate and its heat-generating energy. He describes how firefighters found streams of melted steel, molten for months under the debris, and pouring out, along with the presence of Swiss-cheese-like chunks of steel filled with melt-holes. This as the debris was lifted and shipped away.

Through all of NIST's obfuscation, which would bring most of us to our feet raging against the government-front NIST, Griffin, author of some 35 books, keeps a level hand and cool rationality of the philosopher of religion, politics and science that he is, deconstructing the falsehoods, page after page, chapter after chapter, with an impenetrable sense of logic.

In short, the black-on-black covered, 328-page The Mysterious Collapse of World Trade Center 7, seals the doom of NIST chicanery and lies, a disgrace to those who partook in creating them. As well as being an expose of the "politicization of science," this book is a history of perhaps the darkest time in America's life. It is a document driven by Griffin and his colleagues' passion for truth, a book that wishes to and succeeds in toppling the NIST lies like the ill-fated towers.

What's more, there is new information here for the most seasoned 9/11 scholar as well as those who have just begun to question the anomalies of the WTC 7 Tower not hit by an airliner falling exactly as Towers 1 and 2 standing next to it fell, supposedly due to airliners hitting them.

Lastly, Griffin's analysis of the recently uncovered story of Barry Jennings, liaison for the Housing Authority to Giuliani's Office of Emergency Management, and Michael Hess, Giuliani's Chief Counsel for New York City, and a head partner in Giuliani & Partners, a private financing firm, is amazing. Both Jennings and Hess were caught in an explosion on the sixth floor of Tower 7 that occurred about 9:30 A.M. on 9/11/2001.

After the explosive collapses of Towers 1 and 2, the two men were rescued from Tower 7, finally led by firefighters through a hole in the wall of what was its bombed-out lobby. Jennings said that he could tell that he was walking over dead bodies. This cast an entirely new light on the Tower 7 history. Subsequently, Mr. Hess redacted or changed most of his testimony to fit the timeline of a book Giuliani wrote in 2002 about the events. Griffin impeccably documents the time of events and the redacting of information.

He points out that Jennings stuck to his story. Amazingly, he became ill and entered a hospital in August, 2008, and died several days later on August 19, 2008. This was strangely several days before NIST's first WTC 7 Report's release. Dylan Avery, lead producer of Loose Change, hired a private investigator to gather information about what happened. Not too long after, the P. I. called Avery and told him she would be crediting his card for her fee (returning his money), and would like it "if he never called her again regarding Mr. Jennings."

Griffin's investigatory detailing of this story is both interesting and illuminating. Parenthetically, since the book's release, Dylan Avery made a visit to the Jennings family, and found them disappeared from their home, gone, just gone.

Perhaps this will make a follow-up story for David Ray Griffin. Fortunately, The Mysterious Collapse of World Trade Center 7 is here/now to stay. For all those who have hungered for the information to "Just Say No to NIST" and the administration's conspiracy, this book is a must-read.

David Griffin obliterates the legitimacy of the official government reports claiming to solve one of the most mystifying pieces of the 9/11 puzzle: the incomprehensible collapse of World Trade Center Building 7. The primary organizations in question this time around are FEMA, a branch of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and NIST, an agency of the United States Department of Commerce, both of which were responsible for various stages of the investigation into this 47-story building's demise.

Griffin has already written an exhaustive critique of The 9/11 Commission's narrative. That collection of lawyers/politicians declared to 'provide the fullest possible account of the events of that day'. The failure to even mention WTC 7 in their report serves as just one major example of the litany of shortcomings within that 'fullest possible account'. Here he takes on the scientists who produced the edicts expounding upon the collapse of WTC 7, a seemingly much more difficult task. Those who believe that science is immune to political manipulation should read this book immediately.

Griffin's methodology is steady and incisive. The devastating revelation is total, accomplished in the sober, step-by-step fashion that is Griffin's greatest attribute. This is not conspiracy theory. This is a shockingly simple cross-examination of the evidence guided by the established laws of physics and chemistry. The blatant fraud that these governmental bureaus employed during their studies provides one more example of the ubiquitous assault on science that the Bush Administration subjected the world to during their eight year reign. The appointed instruments at FEMA and NIST produced works that were necessarily confined within the parameters established by the U.S. government's theory concerning 9/11. Controlled demolition has never had a place within this postulation; as such, neither organization even looks to see if traces of explosive evidence are present. The use of explosives, if somewhat questionable concerning the destruction of the towers, is, without doubt, the most obvious cause of WTC 7's leveling.

Americans should be ashamed at the negligence and ignorance that we continue to demonstrate concerning 9/11 in the face of the meticulous work of Griffin and many others. This absolutely infuriating book demands a new investigation into the crimes committed on September 11th, 2001. U.S. sovereignty will continue to disappear if we the people continue to accept these false platforms.

Just finished reading this book, in my opinion it is David Ray Griffin's best book yet in regards to 9/11. He does an excellent job showing that not only was the NIST investigation of the fall of WTC7 highly unscientific in the extreme, but that the evidence for this conclusion also demonstrates beyond the shadow of any doubt that any attempt to explain the fall of 9/11 as a fire-driven collapse is utterly false.
Several of the other reviews touched upon key points, including NIST's admission of free-fall acceleration after explicitly stating this couldn't have happened in a mere collapse without violating the principles of physics, ie impossible to explain without the complete removal of the structure ahead of the fall. But i would like to focus on the section in which Griffin demonstrates the inner contradictions of the NIST report.
The report asserts the existence of fires whose alleged time of initiation, duration and temperatures are completely without support of all evidence. Even assuming the asserted duration and temperature of these fires are correct, the claim for how hot the steel beams got is completely without any scientific basis. Even assuming the steel got this hot, its calculations of how much steel beams expanded is a complete fabrication. NIST asserts steel girders were not connected to floors with shear studs, even though its earlier reports state the contrary (one assumes that the nature of WTC7's structure would have been known early on). The report posited that its computer simulation, the basis for the report, showed the steel beams separated from the concrete due to unequal heating, but then disclosed that the simulation model had the fires heat only the steel, and not the adjacent concrete, a completely unsupportable methodology. And assuming all these huge errors are still overlooked, the conclusion of a single support column failing and then bringing down the entire structure resulted in a simulation-summarizing video which showed an asymmetrical collapse favoring the east side of the building, whereas actual videos show a symmetrical collapse. NIST attempts to asset its simulation produced a result which matches "reasonably well" with what was observed, an utterly obvious lie.
Two appendices add to the text. The first is a discussion of the possibility that WTC7 was actually supposed to come down much earlier than it did, right after the main towers, but its demolition was unsuccessful, and had to be re-done, which is why it came down so much later in the day. The second presents a recent fire in a 500 ft steel hi rise in Beijing, which had no sprinklers yet, and suffered severe long-lasting fires over its entire structure, but did not come down.
Griffin presents the evidence very well, in a manner which even readers unfamiliar with scientific principles will find easy to digest (by the way, i have a degree in mechanical engineering, as well as teaching). Anyone who believes the official story should have a very hard time hanging on to such a belief after reading this book. And even if you are totally convinced, you should read it, this will make it much easier for you to explain to friends, especially the hard-to-convince, what did not happen--a mere fire-driven collapse of WTC7.

The great British/American philosopher, Alfred North Whitehead, said, in Science and the Modern World, "It requires a very unusual mind to undertake the analysis of the obvious." In his book, The Mysterious Collapse of the World Trade Center 7, David Ray Griffin, best known in philosophical circles as one of the premiere exponents of Whitehead's philosophy, exemplifies this observation. It is obvious to anyone who has seen the taped footage of the collapse of the World Trade Center 7 (WTC7) that the building was brought down by controlled demolition. This is the only means by which steel framed buildings have even been brought down. And yet, until now, there has not been a careful analysis of this fact.

Griffin is not the first person to advance the idea that WTC7 was brought down by explosives. This idea has been in the public domain since Sept. 11th, 2001 when the building was viewed by millions around the world collapsing in perfect symmetry at free-fall speed. Since that date, a number of scientists have analyzed the dust of the ruined building for trace elements of explosives; collected air samples high above New York City for weeks after the collapse; and analyzed a steel beam from WTC7 for physical evidence. All of the physical evidence points to the use of explosives and none of it is compatible with the official position that the building collapsed because of office fires.

The great strength of Griffin's book--and what makes it invaluable--is that it brings together all of the known empirical evidence and all of the known testimonial evidence, the scores of people who have testified to hearing explosions--and organizes this material in a manner that is readily accessible and illuminating.

The other major contribution of this book is that Griffin makes it clear that the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST)has engaged in a massive cover-up of the real cause of the collapse of WTC7. Unlike a proper scientific investigation that begins with facts, develops a hypothesis, tests the hypothesis, and then sends these findings out for peer review, the NIST report begins with a conclusion, namely, that WTC7 collapsed solely because of office fires. Having determined the cause of the collapse at the outset, NIST then proceeds to build a case to support its conclusion. This argument involves ignoring important data, inventing testimony, making assumptions that are contradictory to empirical records, exaggeration, and, finally, constructing a computer model designed to reach its predetermined conclusion rather than conducting actual tests. Needless to say, NIST then rejects the idea, basic to real science, that its findings be peer reviewed.

The fact that WTC7 was brought down using explosives raises the question of who planted the explosives and why. It seems unlikely that foreign terrorists would have either the sustained access to the building necessary for such and undertaking, or the desire to bring down a building in a controlled manner. And the fact that NIST was engaged in covering up the use of explosives raises the question of who ordered the fraudulent report. Griffin does not spend much time speculating on these matters but the question cannot be avoided. In the case of who ordered the cover-up, the only plausible answer is someone within the government at a very high level.

This book is profoundly disturbing in its conclusions and in the questions that naturally arise from its findings. This may preclude it from getting the wide readership it deserves. People do not generally seek out books that will undermine their peace of mind, unless they are works of fiction for the purpose of entertainment. This book will likely make you feel less secure and less optimistic about the future but it should not be avoided on that basis. Rather I highly recommend it for the clarity it shines on one of the most important, and tragic events of the 21st century. Read it and decide for yourself what needs to be done.

In his latest book David Griffin has added even more nails to the coffin of the official account of what happened on that day of infamy, September 11th 2001. In this superb book, Dr Griffin eviscerates the NIST report on the collapse of Building 7 with meticulous thoroughness, proving it to be a tissue of omissions, distortions, and fabrications. There is much new material here, presented in a clear and logical style, and I only wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

Why should scientists produce a report that is such an affront to science?

There is only one possible answer: the Bush-Cheney Administration desperately wanted to conceal the truth about the events of that day in 2001. The implications are so staggering that many people cannot bring themselves to confront them. David Griffin's book will do much to overcome this psychological barrier.
