This is a hilarious book filled with lies. Or it would be, if the disinformation it spread weren't taken seriously by so many idiots! Years ago when I was a student a black South African friend told me if he had to chose he would rather live under apartheid in South Africa than as Palestinian in the occupied West Bank. I asked him why and he replied,"I have a future as my oppression will be over in my lifetime"
It is very hard for many to be objective about anything involving Israel. Nevertheless if one wants to learn a bit more about the dark side of the never ending Israel-Palestine conflict I recommend this book as a good start. It is a little sensational, but no less accurate in fairly reporting what one will ever see in the mainstream US media about the powerful vs. the powerless.

Arab propaganda skills are currently second to none. Here however Jews who write on their behalf put on the cover obese Palestinian holocaust victims. They need some advisers from Gazawood to give them pictures of dieing cancer patients to make their book more credible.

The reader should apply simple questions to uncover the fraud in this book. Compare the Millions of Indian refugees from Pakistan, Germans from Poland, Czechoslovakia and Romania, Tatars from the Ukraine and ask yourself what is special about the Arabs. You will find that having a dedicated UN refugee agency for the Palestinians have to do nothing with justice but only with oil.

Ask yourself how come India who suffered imperialism for centuries and has no oil or other resources, is self sufficient while the multitudes of Arabs are embroiled with a struggle that they started and maintain some of the most backward societies despite the oil.

This book is an attempt to find faults, accuses and blame to justify the unjustifiable.

Is it not amazing to everyone that anytime a book comes out detailing the atrocities commited by the Israelis, they are called anti-semite?? This book is based on FACTS. Anyone who says otherwise is in denial. I would honestly be embarrassed to say I am an Israeli after reading this book.

Read this book and rest assured that non of it is lies. It is based on FACTS. I wish I had the money to buy thousands of copies and give them out for free. Everyone needs to read this book. It is very sad and it will really give you another perspective that is defintely different than what the media has been brainwashing you with. It has a lot of graphic pictures that will bring tears to your eyes.

We must realize that Muslims are just as much to blame for genocide and destruction as everyone else. I'm not just talking about towards Americans or other communities, but within their own community and families. Has anyone ever heard of "honor killings?" They happen all the time in supposedly moderate Muslim countries like Jordan. But it's okay to talk badly about Jews and other ethnic groups/religions, but not Muslims or it is an outright attack. Some people need to look at themselves and be truthful about what they are doing instead of blaming others.

This title is filled to the brim with propaganda and lies. The Israelis are simply doing what they need to to survive. In 1967, they struck before Egypt had a chance and the Arab powers were obliterated. In 1973 Egypt struck back, in an effort to gain their territory they had previously lost. But at the core of this conflict, and what preceded it, was the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, when as soon as Israel gained independence, she was attacked ferociously by a horde of greedy Arabs. Israel repulsed them in less than a year, but the battle rages on and she is repeatedly and unprovokingly attacked (guerilla warfare and full blown battle) by the Palestinians. It doesn't seem you can convince this to the author. All that Israel has done has been in response to terrorism. Israel even gave up land (virtually all of the West Bank and Gaza Strip) and the Palestinians are simply not appeased.

I think the author is brain dead, because this is pure stupidity and Palestinian propaganda. Don't buy it.

Having read about the Palestinians on the internet and how their story wasn't making it into the mainstream media, I was eventually drawn to this book.

I must say that the title sounded a little overblown. But having read half the book now, I don't think that it does any more.

What Hoffman and Lieberman do so well is describe the most appalling atrocities committed by Israeli soldiers, such as shooting and strafing civilians in the towns and refugee camps, the stopping by Israeli soldiers of those who would give medical assistance to the severely wounded who would then proceed to bleed to death on the street.

Then you have juxtaposed with these atrocities lies and other untruths by Israeli officials, The New York Times, and our own government, from George W. Bush to Ari Fleischer to Chuck Schumer, which portrayed the actions in Jenin, Ramallah, Nablus, and other places as military actions against militants. Nothing could be further from the truth. These were overwhelmingly wanton slaying sprees of innocent people by the Israeli military.

Hoffman and Lieberman are heroes for having the moral courage to write this heart-rending book.

This book speaks the truth. All Americans need to know about this. Steven Spielberg should make a movie about this, seeing how he does view the Palestinians as human, something many Israelis obviously do not.

I just wanted to Congradulate Mr. Hoffman for rallying his antisemetic troops...Thanks to him and those like him who distort information, we are on the brink of war...Many of the case studies have been magnified to such an extent that the true situation at hand becomes blurred. A message to Mr. Hoffman: Israel has done a great deal to secure the free country you so blatantly take advantage of...If you're not happy, feel free to move to the Islamic Republic of Iran, I'm sure you're considered a hero there!!

I used to believe in the jewish plight and the so called suffering at the hands of Nazis. This book erased any sympathy towards them. They have shown to be as racist and barbaric as the Nazis themselves. Although the book is great, it really doesn't detail the scope of the Palestinian suffering.

So be proud Americans and keep you money flowing toward torture and killing of children and women.

yes, during the Israeli independence war at 1948 some shamefull acts were made (most known is Sabra and Shatilla) and those who took part in them should be punished, and i do not see them as jews as judaism condems these acts.
what people fail to remember is the fact the time was a time of war, a war declared by the arabs on the jews, the arabs refused their chance for a country by declaring the war and they can't blame th ejews and Israel forever just because they lost.
my ancestores, grandparents and before were part of complete Israeli origin (the old settelment which never stopped for over 4000 years) and some came from different countries and nations following the dream of rebuilding the jewish nation in it's rightful land (something the arabs still can't exept).
my grandparents always saw the arabs as equals and understood that it was now their land too after they invaded and conquered it, that it was not our place to "throw" them in the sea (as they like to think), during the war at 48' my grandparents advised their arabs friends to stay in Israel assuring them no on whould hurt them and that they will be protected, some listened and to this days are gratefull that they live in Israel which is a democracy' perhapes not as they wish but we all know things change with time.

The writer of the book is Jewish. Now, I suppose this means that he is "a self-hater and an antisemite at heart". I do not know, he might just as well be that. I haven't met him. One thing that I do know, however, is that Mr Hoffman hardly is the only Jewish intellectual to criticise Zionism and Israel's policies, to put it diplomatically. I could try to make a smaller research and then drop a dozen names right away, in spite of not being a specialist in the field. But let me mention only one name here, a very familiar one -- Norman G. Finkelstein.

Now, for some reason Mr Finkelstein yet till this very day has not been referred to as an Antisemite. How come? Is it because he has not made the same allegations or could it be simply because of the mild tone of his voice in his otherwise harsh criticism? I leave this up to your own reason to figure out. My challenge is this:

Kindly, please, produce two known Arab names who have criticised Palestinians, blaming them entirely for their own tragedy and boldly proclaiming that none of those alleged massacres of Palestinians and crimes against humanity commited by the Israeli state have actually ever taken place.
