I bought this book because the title suggested that it is about various religions and their conflicting views about who is right, but the book isn't about that. The product description says it's about 9/11, and it isn't about that either. Actually, the book is about the concept of time and whether or not it actually exists. But it's also about politics. And relationships, and love. And it's also about those moments we all have where we stop to ask ourselves if we imagined what just happened or if we are going crazy.

The story follows 5 characters whose lives intertwine. The book shifts from character to character as each describes events from their own viewpoint. At the beginning it was a little hard to keep in mind who was speaking, but as the book progressed, each character became a distinctive personality with thought provoking things to say. I am thankful that Kindle has highlight and note-taking capability because I used it a lot in this book. I look forward to going back and re-reading some of the passages.

This book was so well written I can hardly believe it's done by 2 people. My favorite kind of book makes you think all the way through, but even more after you've finished it. This book does that very well. Interesting characters and a great plot, the characters are well developed and the events that lead up to the climax are mundane, and yet kind of bizarre as well. I'll definitely read this one again.
