An excellent read on an apparently sparsely covered subject. This should be required reading for all military commanders, from the Commander-in-Chief on down to the platoon level, so that our military effectiveness really achieves what it is meant to do - take the battle to the enemy and take them out. Ineffective use of snipers backfires on the very people they are meant to protect and support. Halberstadt has written probably one of the most important books on military power ever written - this one - and his lessons need to be implemented without fail. Let's just hope he hasn't revealed too much to the bad guys!
