Every time Jasmine comes back it means straight drama! This novel was an engaging read and covered taboo topics not often talked about. Victoria is a gifted writer that always takes me on a journey, her stories, touching and painful as well as laugh out load funny. Always a page turner.

What a tangled web we weave when we endeavor through deceit!
Victory Christopher Murray, best selling author of A Sin and A Shame, gets my nod for Too Little Too Late. Her main character, Jasmine Larson, is back with the man of her dreams in tow. The novel is fast paced and very entertaining.
Jasmine and her husband, Reverend Hosea Bush, made it through the fact that Jasmine became pregnant with another man's child. However, Jasmine's got a few more bones in her throat, that are ready to pop out: Natasia Redding, a blast from Hosea's past who still has the "hots" for him; Brian Lewis, the good doctor who is also her "baby's daddy", has
discovered through "therapy" that he is a sex addict and in order to save his marriage he must tell all to his wife and convince her that Jasmine and the baby were part of his "illness", which won't be easy considering the sordid history between Jasmine and his wife Alexis.
Will Hosea be able to fight the feelings that he still has for Natasia? Will Jasmine get one more chance to bare her soul and be redeemed once and for all? Will Brian be able to save his marriage and be cured of his addiction? It may all be too little, too late. I recommend that you read and find out!

Excellent storytelling and familiar characters from the past. This was a great novel but I'm wondering will Jasmine ever stop with the lies and will Alexis and Brian find happiness with or without each other. There was one part of the story where I was rooting for Hosea and Natasia, thank goodness I came to my senses! Mae Frances I missed ya. Ms. Murray you have a gift continue to embrace it.

What a wonderful book this was to read! I first heard about this book from the "Girls with Grace" book club at my church. It was our second book to read and I enjoyed it so much. I couldn't put it down. I finished reading the almost 400 page book in 2 days. I would recommend this book to anyone. The end was very touching. Even if you hadn't read the previous books in the series, you won't be lost. 2 thumbs up on this one.

Jasmine Larson Bush is back and she still has secrets. Although the paternity of her daughter Jacqueline is know by her husband to be an ex lover Brian Lewis this couple encounters road blocks of an old flame. No, not Jasmine's old flame. How about the ex-girlfriend of Hosea for a change?

Jasmine has to deal with Natasia, playing the game she knows all too well when yet another obstacle is thrown into her path. Brian Lewis and his wife Alexis are having trouble with their marriage when Alexis is convinced her husband is having an affair. Will their secrets come out finally and when they do will it be too late for either of them to make their relationships work?

Awesome continuation of A Sin and A Shame! I recommend this book.

A continuation of A Sin and A Shame. Jasmine Larson may have finally met her match when Natasia comes into the picture. This was the best book I've read so far this year. Victoria has once again given her readers the finest in Christian fiction.

I loved this book. The writing is great. Although I could definitely read more, not many writers transition well from one storyline to the next without getting lost. Plus, I appreciate as a Christian, how realistic the characters were. I am trying to hold back from getting another novel because I'm on a budget.

The great thing about this book is that while we are Christians, we are still human and fallible. And it's never too late to go back to God.

Jasmine Larson Bush - the lying, conniving, cheater - is back, and up to her old ways! You would think she had learned her lesson when her marriage to Hosea, a mighty man of God, was put through the fire after he learned the truth about one of her most devastating secrets. But no, Jasmine is still harboring secrets, causing untold strife and turmoil not only in her marriage, but others as well. Even though Jasmine goes to great lengths to keep her devious behavior under wraps, she soon learns that the age old adage - everything that is done in the dark will eventually be brought to the light - is true.

I have been a fan of Ms. Murray's from her first published work. But I have to say that Too Little, Too Late is by far her best work yet. The story, a masterful mix of everyday issues and biblical teachings, is a dynamic testament to the power of trust and forgiveness. With each novel that she writes, Ms. Murray showcases her extraordinary talent for creating storylines and characters that pull you into its vortex, not letting you go until the very end.

As I read Too Little, Too Late, I felt so many emotions deep within my spirit, I was moved to take a deep, painful look at how I've been living my life, realizing sadly that it is not always in conjunction with God's will. When a work of fiction can prompt that type of response, it is the mark of an author that has truly mastered the craft of writing.

As I tip my hat to Victoria Christopher Murray for creating such powerful and unforgetable characters, I must highly recommend "Too Little, Too Late" for the movie-lover in all of us. Since Murray first two titles, "Temptation" & "Joy," I'm ashamed to say I had lost touch in reading Murray's other titles. And "Too Little, Too Late" is the direct sequel to the book, "A Sin and A Shame." I read these books out of order, thinking that "Temptation" was the previous book.
In "Temptation" Jasmine Larson was the schemer, sinner and woman she-devil trying to take someone else's husband. Later in "A Sin and A Shame" Jasmine becomes a Christian, yet still hasn't dropped her schemes or plans on how to land a husband. And now, in Murray's current tale with Jasmine, she's married, happy and still with secrets with another woman trying to get her man.
Wow, reading Murray's book, I felt I was watching one of the most entertaining films I could imagine. And all books set in locations I'm very familiar with, just made the read all that more enjoyable. The wonderful, Christian-based theme in all three novels is forgiveness. It's a biblical principle I never tired of, and one where our title character learns repeatedly.
It is recommended before you read "Too Little, Too Late," please read "A Sin & A Shame" to completely understand the complex and compelling situations in both novels. What an enjoyable read!

This story sizzles with lies, coverups, pain & hurt. BUT in the end, the true love of God and reality is magnified as the Christians in this novel struggle to survive life and trials in their walk.

I loved the book. So much has already been reviewed, I can't add much more without tell the story (and that's not right).

I feel a book #3 will settle any unanswered questions. Book #1 is just as packed with the struggle of this characters which the author skillfully pulls them through.

I loved this book!

This was a really really good book. I enjoyed it thoroughly from beginning to end. Victoria never disappoints her fans in her writings. Her story lines are excellent. Even though these books may be classified as fiction, the scenarios, actions and mindset of the characters are very real; they are, after all, the very things that we are challenged with at different points of our Christian walk. The emotions portrayed in this book are those of a desperate and insecure person who feels she has to continue to scheme to cover up lie after lie. It also deals with the desires of the flesh that comes with seeing an ex and remembering the way things use to be. And let's not forget the addiction. It is one that we would prefer to believe a person to be whorish rather than addicted to sex. In`A Sin and A Shame,' it was basically about Jasmine and what she does to hold on to Hosea. But in`Too Little Too Late,' I found it focused more towards Hosea, his struggles with his past and the desires he faces after seeing his ex-girlfriend. But even in the midst of their struggles, these believable characters discover that God is always in their midst no matter how bad they behave.

It kind of read like there may be a sequel. In any case, I would love to know if Brian will be a part of his daughter's life, the drama that will unfold between him and Jasmine and their attraction to one another as he gets to know his daughter, as well as if he and his ex-wife will get back together again. VCM really dealt with some serious issues and I can't wait to read her next addition to this genre of books. Keep up the good work.

TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE, the follow-up to Victoria Christopher Murray's A Sin and A Shame, picks up three years after Hosea and Jasmine's wedding. The family is happy and has added Jasmine's old neighbor as Nama to their daughter. Hosea's television show is a big success and they've been presented with the opportunity to film several episodes in Los Angeles. The show has also hired a temporary producer who just happens to be Hosea's ex-fiancée. She never received closure from their relationship and is testing the waters to see if Hosea may still have feelings for her. Jasmine knows the game she is playing, because she recognizes some of the same qualities she once had when pursuing a man - even if he was married. Jasmine has to rely on more than her scheming ways to keep her man.

Murray always satisfies and she does not disappoint with TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE. Interwoven in Jasmine and Hosea's story is another very interesting subplot that centers on another couple's marriage. The overall theme of honesty and forgiveness is prominent in both of these relationships and throughout the book. My only disappointment is that I wanted more interaction between Jasmine and Hosea's ex. Fans of Jasmine's tales will be pleased.

There is an abundance of conflict and action in Too Little, Too Late, and as is typical of Ms. Murray's writing style, nothing is predictable and every chapter is eventful and tense. There are never any sagging middles or boring chapters in one of her novels. I love how the author twists things around and weaves powerful lessons into all of her stories. Lessons about love and faithfulness, trust and forgiveness.

Too Little, Too Late has an ending that will leave you breathless, yet there is also a bittersweet feeling you get by the time you reach the last page. Yes, life is messy, and temptation is everywhere. The issue of addiction is handled extremely well and is accurately portrayed.

In the midst of their struggles these believeable character discover that God is always in their midst no matter how awfully they behave. They realize that His love is unconditional and if they reach out to Him, He will meet them where they are. That is so true-to-life. What a great read. A bit on the sizzly side with some major eyebrow-raising scenes, but I like that kind of romance, and in this regard Ms. Murray never dissapoints.

I totally enjoyed "Too Little, Too Late".

Jasmine began to grow on me in "A Sin and A Shame". Although, she wrecked havoc in many lives, it takes two to tango. I truly believe that she's a better person now that she's allowed God into her life. People can and do change.

I felt that Hosea was a bit hypocritical at times. He was distraught to discover Jasmine's lies (there were many) yet he lied continuously about being in Natasia's presence. Hosea easily fell for Natasia's manipulation. It took him much too long to realize that Natasia had several tricks up her sleeve.

Natasia was parallel to a blemish that refuses to vanish. Poor Jasmine had certainly met her match. She was even more threatening because she didn't have God in her heart.

For me, the Brian / Alexis story ended sadly. I was hoping Alexis would forgive Brian for his "affair" with Jasmine.

Mae Frances is a riot. Her character showed the most growth although she's still a force to be reckoned with.

A fascinating story filled with remarkable characters who struggled to live life righteously.

In Too Little, Too Late, Jasmine and Hosea Bush are happily married and over their previous marital issues from A Sin and A Shame. Jasmine is a new women (or so she says) and promises never to hide anything from Hosea again. The couple decides to renew their vows and after the joyous occasion, Hosea announces that his family is moving to California for three months. During the chaos of their move an old flame of Hosea's decides to make an unfortunate appearance into the Bushes life. She's young, attractive and the love of Hosea's life. Will he be able to resist? While Hosea is in the mist of dodging advances from an old flame, Jasmine is trying to not to slip back into her old deceiving ways. Will she succeed?

But that's not all; a second marriage hangs in jeopardy due to adultery. That relationship is Brian and Alexis Lewis's. Alexis, who has been in the dark about Brian's cheating for years has finally gotten wind of her husband's deceitful ways. Will their marriage be able to survive years of cheating and deceitfulness?

I think Victoria Christopher Murray really outdid herself in this book. Jasmine's character has evolved light years from her former scandalous persona in Temptations. But even though things change, some things stay the same. When threatened Jasmine retaliates in the worst way. She is so busy trying to cover up lies from her previous life that she can't enjoy the present. In this book it is evident that Jasmine has not yet learned to let go and let God. She still believes that her way is the best way and that's where all her problems start. Brian Lewis is trying to turn over a new leaf but he is being dragged back into the past by his lies. He was a more likable character than jasmine because I felt like he really wanted to turn over a new leaf. All in all I feel like this book was a great selection and I highly recommend it to fans of Victoria Christopher Murray's work.

Though tried and tested, Hosea Bush comes through with agape love for Jasmine. Too Little, Too Late is a page turner. There has been a definite change in Jasmine Larson Bush. Growth, maturity, and genuine love is evident. You can see that the nurturing and love given to her by Hosea has paid off, until his past shows up in the form of Natasia Redding, who is Jasmine taken to another level. Natasia's self-assurance, arrogance, and manipulation almost gets her what she wants, Hosea. Even though Jasmine has to fight in the flesh and spirit, she displays a definite will to keep the man she loves and for their marriage to survive. It is ironic how Mae France will play a pivotal role and this is because of the love and concern given to her by Hosea and Jasmine.

The Bush's trek to Los Angeles for three months, draws Brian and Alexis Lewis, who are having their own issues, into this story of love, commitment and marriage. When a man loves a woman, he will go to great extremes to make sure that nothing threatens or destroys that love. Brian's need to seek help for his addiction is an indication that he no longer desires to live his former life that threatened to destroy his happiness and marriage to Alexis. And Alexis inability to forget Brian's transgression will cost them dearly. Brian's weakness to the addiction is revealed when pressures mount from a visit by Jasmine and their inability to resist temptation is manifested when they are faced with this incredible opportunity to thwart weakness. However, Brian's ability to resist temptation in the form of Natasia, again at a very weak time for him, is evident that he does love his wife and want the happy times once again. I love the author's way of leaving the door open with any number of possibilities and I look forward to hearing more from Alexis and Brian.

I marveled at the concern shown by Hosea for Alexis, and the love for Jacqueline is an indication of his unselfishness, his real nature, and true character as a Man of God. Even though, Jasmine could not understand this, it is a credit to the training and upbringing Hosea received from his father, Rev. Bush who provides sound conusel to both Jasmine and Hosea, along with surprise of all surprises, words fo wisdom from Mae France. Now Hosea has to face his demons as well, in terms of his relationship with Natasia, but real to commitment or God's timing, I think a bit of both, he prevails.

True love is so evident in this book and to see its demise and then to see it flourish is absolutely thrilling. Giving up is hard to do when you truly love someone and I don't think Jasmine, Hosea, Brian or Alexis has given up on love. Truth prevails.

There are very few sequels that I really enjoy. There are even fewer three- peats that I enjoy, but author Victoria Christopher Murray pulled out all stops with Too Little,Too Late. Jasmine Larson Bush is back and is still trying to help God with all her schemes and lies. Only, this time Jasmine's schemes and lies not only affect her life with her husband, Hosea, but they follow her across the country and Brian, her baby daddy, becomes caught up in the mix. But, as always, God shows up and reminds her that He is in charge and does not need her help.

In June 2006, Jasmine and Hosea are living the good life. They have overcome the many obstacles that caused division in their marriage in the last book. As the couple head to the altar to renew their vows and start anew, Jasmine still has a few secrets she cannot quite tell her husband. When Hosea announces that the family will be moving to Los Angeles for three months, Jasmine is worried, but confident her secrets will be safe.

Also in June 2006, Alexis follow her husband to what she suspects is a secret rendevous. Can their marriage survive when Brian's secret come to light?

In August 2006, the couples meet, and not under the best of circumstances. Hosea and Jasmine agree to meet with Brian when Alexis happens upon the scene. What she sees sends her world spiraling out of control.

Will the lives of these two couples ever be the same? You have to read Too Little, Too Late and find out the answer. Be prepared because there are some jaw dropping moments that will have you screaming, gasping and laughing out loud. I loved how Victoria wrote this novel in three parts. Jasmine and Hosea's story, Brian and Alexis' story and then the story of Jasmine, Hosea, Brian and Alexis. Also, it is always a pleasure to read about Mae Francis, a wise woman with a past like Jasmine's, who has made a complete turnaround. I highly recommend this book.

Although she has done plenty of wicked things in her life, Jasmine plans to remain faithful to her husband Reverend Hosea Bush. Cementing her vows to God and her spouse, she loves her husband and their child Jacqueline. Hosea not only loves his wife and accepted her child from another man as his; he proudly admires her transformation from sinner to strong believer in the Lord's way.

The Bush trio has temporarily left New York for California where Jasmine finds her sinful shameful past testing her new Christian devotion. Not only is Jacqueline's biological father Brian Lewis there with marital woes as his wife believes he is cheating probably with Jasmine; Hosea's former fiancée, Natasia Redding is also there. She wants her man back and will do what it takes to steal his soul; Hosea struggles with the TEMPTATION of the flesh that Natasia offers. Not one to sit back, Jasmine muses that it is A SIN AND A SHAME, but God takes care of those who take care of themselves so she fights as only she can to keep her man.

Too Little Too Late is an excellent entry in the Jasmine Larson Bush Christian Lit saga; perhaps the best so far. The key is Hosea who proves humanly fallible as he finds himself filled with lust and willing to omit some truths from his wife. Fans will appreciate this fine tale as everyone seems to have gone full circle in a well written intense drama. That could lead to the unthinkable, two destroyed marriages.

WOW! Does Karma really come back this hard? The wait was well worth it. I could not stop reading this book. If you haven't read "Temptation" and "A Sin and a Shame" yet get those 2 as well so that you can truly appreciate this novel for the masterpiece it really is. Many of us have a past that we would prefer stay there never to surface again. But when it does just that (surface) what do you do? when the love of your life has already given you a second chance to be HONEST about your past and who you really are. At times I wanted to slap Jasmine for her stupidity, and other times I cheered for her fight for her family. 5 stars I loved this book.

His ex-fiance, Natasia, appears as a new edition to Hosea's show, Bring It On. They are scheduled to be in Los Angeles, for a three month project. Jasmine recognizes immediately that Natasia is a woman cut from the same cloth as she. Natasia is in it to win her man back. Jasmine does all she can to stop her from breaking up her marriage.

Meanwhile, Jasmine has to deal with the deceit that has her reluctant to return to Los Angeles and running into Brian Lewis, her former lover. Brian has his own issues with being a sex-addict and trying to save his marriage with his wife, Alexis. He thinks she can handle him sleeping around more than she can handle him having a baby with Jasmine Larson. Jasmine almost broke up the marriage of her best friend.

Can Hosea forgive Jasmine, yet again, for the lies? Will Natasia succeed at getting her man back? Will Alexis be able to handle that Brian is a sex-addict AND slept with her enemy?? Murray takes us into the lives of these two couples and airs ALL of their dirt. You did not have to read the other books, Temptation or A Sin and A Shame, in the life of Jasmine, to know what is going on to be TOTALLY invested in the characters. You do not know whether to root for Jasmine to win or to have her really pay for all of her deceit. But you will love every minute of this book! I could not put the book down. Murray combines true life drama with biblical principles. Too Little, Too Late is EXCELLENT!

Jasmine is a wicked and immoral person who gets what she wants regardless of who she has to hurt. She has done many unpleasant things to people in the past and as a result now has many old secrets. Jasmine marries, Mr. Hosea Bush, a minister, who has accepted Jasmine's devilish ways. Hosea stuck with Jasmine through good and bad times and accepted the past as the past as they tried to maintain a healthy marriage together as a family. Jasmine's daughter, Jacqueline, was the main reason that Hosea stayed with Jasmine. When Natasha reappears in Hosea's life, all hell begins to break loose. She begins to intimidate Jasmine with her little skills and tactics to gain Hosea's love. Jasmine is no fool, though. Game always recognizes game!

Brian Lewis, the father of Jasmine's child's, has problems with his wife, Alexis. She thinks that he is being unfaithful to her. Brian is forced to prove to her otherwise, and that may entail digging up old secrets from the past.

"Too Little, Too Late" by Victoria Christopher Murray is an excellent read. It is one of the best sequels I've read! This book is definitely a page turner and I will be looking forward to more of Murray's books in the future. Keep up the good work!

Victoria Christopher Murray has come again with a new and improved Jasmine! Or has she really improved? Jasmine and Hosea have returned with a stronger love complete with baby Jacqueline and the infamous dry witted Mae Frances. This power couple has really grown in their ministry although Jasmine is still battling the old man as her past lies continue to haunt her. Hosea has accepted Jacqueline as his very own flesh and blood child while his love for Jasmine grows stronger each day as he witnesses the changes in her growth as a Christian.

Upon the renewing of their vows, the family has to temporarily move to California and it's stirring up mayhem in Jasmine's equilibrium with the close proximity to Brian Lewis, Jacqueline's biological father. In the midst of this storm, Jasmine faces one of her toughest trials, an adversary that is even more devious than she was in her past! In his quest to assure Jasmine of his love and loyalty to her and their wedding vows, Hosea is also battling the demons of the flesh as passionate memories of his past relationship with his old flame, Natasia Redding.

Too Little Too Late is a must read for an update of the latest drama revolving around the legendary Jasmine Larson Bush! I thoroughly enjoyed the unveiling of Jasmine as well as the insight of Hosea as being a full blooded man as well as a man of GOD! She challenges you with the thin lines between love and hate, lies by omission or commission. Ms. Murray also shows you the ease with which one may get caught up in evading small pieces of information that quickly builds until there is a definitive wall blocking what was once open and honest communication in a relationship. Ms. Murray gives Christian Lit an enlightening as well as inspirational voice that is not intimidating, restricted, or too monotonous. The scenes are intense and have you anticipating each page as each layer of the characters are revealed. The characters are easy to relate to, the situations are most definitely believable, and the reactions are real which in my opinion classifies this as an excellent read!!! Great job Ms. Murray!
