I cannot say enough good about this product. I have been reading reviews on others quarter collecting albums and had settled on buying this one, then they ran out of them. I was really upset, but because of my procrastination, they got in a new shipment by the time I was ready to order something else. I am so glad I chose these. I have 3 children ages 13, 10 and 6. Each one of them loves these albums (I bought one for each of them and got mine free with amazon's special offer). My 10 year old is really enjoying the geography of it. The 13 year old loves that she has her own album and has a great head start on filling it. The six year old is thrilled to be collecting her own quarters and can easily "load" the quarters into their spots all by herself. Mom (me) is thrilled to get such a wonderful album for such a great price. Check out the measurements on this, it's really a nice big book. It has the state seal in each quarter placement spot and has additional information about each state on the outer pages. It also has spots for the not-yet-issued 2009 coins. Please know that after much research, I really found this to be the best one out there. Enjoy!

This collector map is great - short desciptions of each state including District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Nortern Mariana Islands - all U.S. territories. When my son took it for show and tell, the velcro closure didn't hold up with all the kids handling it, but was easy to glue. Overall great for kids to learn about the U.S. as well as having a worthwhile collection.

I love this quarter map at the first sight when my friend showed me hers. I kept collecting the 50 state quarters last year, and I thought it would be fantastic if they have a holder. The map looks very nice with the quarters. And it had introduction to each of the states, which makes it even better.
And it was cheap to buy 4 products for only $24 + free shipping. I will buy more if there's any. It should be a good gift.

Good,easy to keep all the 50+6 quarters on an US map.It's useful for remebering the position of every states.

Terrific product. The book looks great, the map idea is a nice learning tool, and mainly, the quarters fit perfectly. We've seen some that are terrible to get the coins in. Also, the facts about each state are great.

This collector map is absolutely beautiful. I'm really impressed with the quality and sturdiness of this product. The color and detail are wonderful. The little tidbits of info are great as well as educational. My dad has been collecting the quarters for my 11-year-old daughter and I ordered this for her. This finally came after being out of stock forever, and I love it! The size is a little bit awkward, but I love the full color US map and all of the extra info about each state. They have also updated it and replaced the four slots for "your favorite quarters" with six slots for the territories to be released in 2009! A really lovely way to display the state quarters.

I fully recommend this State Quarters Collector Map for the following reasons:

- It is a very nice storage for your State Quarter Coins and you don't need to collect both mints (only one coin per state)
- The Quarters are presented in a colourful way with a large US map
- There are interesting and important facts about the different states
- By collecting your State Quarters, you easily get to know US Geography. I was never satisfied with my knowledge of the United States Geography (I'm from Europe), and this is a very nice way to get to know it

I bought two of these maps for my 9 & 8 yr. old sons who just recently started collecting the state quarters. This map is a perfect way of displaying the quarters and it looks great.
There is a slot in each state for its quarter (or next to it for the smaller NE states), there are facts about each state, it is pretty durable and it folds for easy storage.
My boys both love their maps. I could not be happier with my purchase.

This one is a good one. Put the quarter into its state. Cool.... But I thought the cover is harder.

I purchased a few of these folders for my kids' quarter collections based on all the positive reviews it was getting. The folder offers a tidbit of information from each state, such as when they became a state, the capital, nicknames, mottoes, state flower and state bird. It also has a big map in which you place your quarters directly into a color-coded state, which helps you see when that quarter was released. Underneath the quarter is a picture of that state's seal. It is educational and a great place for kids to keep their quarters as well as a way for them to learn a little about each state.

There are a few things that I didn't like about the folder. First off, it's size. It does state the dimensions but I neglected to pay attention to that. It is rather large when I was hoping to get something more along the size of a large book. The other thing I didn't like are the 4 extra little spaces at the bottom of the map for you to put extra coins in. At first I was excited, thinking it was a spot to put the 4 new nickels that have recently been released. I thought that was such an ingenious idea to include that so the coin collection could all be in one place. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the holes were too large for nickels to fit. At that point, I was very confused as to what those holes were for so I went to the internet to find my answer. The 4 spaces along the bottom are there for you to put your favorite state quarters in. So you would have one state quarter in the actual state map and an extra on the bottom. I didn't like this, especially after my excitment about thinking they were for the nickels! Plus, how can I select my favorite state quarter when I liked them all just the same?!

That being said, I would still purchase this product. It is a great value for a spot to stick your quarter collection. I would never want to spend more than this ($7.99) for a quarter folder/book, especially when they are for my kids and I needed to buy multiple ones. This price was just right and it is a great tool and quarter holder for the kids.

The State Series Quarters Collector Map is just the product I had been looking for. The quarters do not fall out of the holder as they do in some of the other products. The map folds and secures with a velcro closure which is nice. Each quarter is easily removed to view a picture of that state's seal which is an additional educational benefit. My son and daughter are both elementary school teachers (with lots of teacher friends) so I have now collected many sets of the state quarters and have used this product for all of them.

This Collector Map provides excellent and concise information about each state. For the price, it is great quality and a best buy.

We got this as a present for our son. It is a great book and he really loved going through all his quarters and placing them in the slots. It is a great educational tool.

The only con is that the Mint is planning on releasing 6 more quarters (District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Northern Mariana Islands) in 2009. The creators of the book were wise enough to have 4 extra slots, but it looks like 6 will be the magic number.

I ordered this as a birthday present for my daughter. It arrived quickly and was a much better product than I expected for $7.99. It is probably too big to fit on most standard bookshelves, but that is only because it contains great facts about all 50 states. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another one.

I ordered six of these collector maps and my husband and I were very pleased with them. There is information about the states and the display is very attractive. We bought these for our six grandkids and they have enjoyed sorting the state quarters and putting them in the state slot. It is a good learning tool, too. It teaches them when each state became a state and other info as well. Our grandkids are ages 12-3. I Liked the product a lot. It took a long time for the shipment to come. For such a low price the quality is good.

Of all the quarter collector books, this one was clearly the best. The quarters are firmly in place but can be removed if necessary. Also, the map and fun facts are wonderful factual information. My son and I cannot wait for the last 3 quarters.

These books were very informative and useful. I gave these books to 2 young ladies and they have enjoyed the books. I would buy these again if I find someone else to give them too.

I think it is good quarter collector map with nice state details shown and firm hole to keep your quarters. I ordered one for myself and when my friends saw it, they immediately asked me to tell them where to find this product from amazon.

This folder (a tri-fold) was a lot bigger than I imagined it, which is a great thing. For a collecting-related item like this, bigger is better. The folder is made very sturdy, and the holes fit the quarters perfectly. Removal is also easy. The wide variety of colors and fun facts adds to this item's value.

It may be too tall and long for some bookshelves, so check those measurements before buying.

Unlike reviews for similiar products, we have no trouble placing the quarters into the album, we also have no issues removing them to look at the flip side of the quarter.

The information provided on each state is also fun for kids, and a nice way to keep them connected to the project.
