I was happy with the fact that there was more than one picture available for the layouts. It could have giving a little more information but I would buy it again and I would purchase for friends.

First the pros: Becky Fleck does beautiful work, her sketches are detailed and the scrapbook pages pictured are wonderful. She uses a lot of paint in her designs, which I don't. The spiral binding makes it really simple to open it to the page you like and keep it there! There are cards in the back of all the sketches with an example on the back of the card. The idea is that you can carry the cards more easily than the book to a crop or to the craft store to buy supplies. Awesome, right!?

The cons: The biggest con for me is that Becky Fleck mostly does one page designs. Most scrappers I know, myself included, tend to work on two page spreads. So this is a major disappointment for me. And I know the one page sketches can be carried over into a 2 page spread, but I'd rather just see the whole double page spread all sketched out for me. That's why I buy these books! Fleck shows examples of 8 1/2 x 11" layouts with single pages, double pages and pages that have the layout turned to be 11" x 8.5". But I would not have bought it if I'd known it was 80% single page sketches.

But the bright side is that on Amazon.com, the list price is an affordable $14.99 (unlike me, who paid full list price of $24.99 to get it NOW). So it isn't much of a budget breaker. But for me, I wish I'd have spent the money on scrapbooking supplies.

Enjoyed the illustrations in this book. It is an inspiration for scrapbooking ideas. I can see that I will be using it over and over....love the pull out card set in the back. Easy to take along with you to crops! A must buy item!

This book is extemely helpful, easy to follow and even has portability with the punch out cards you take on retreats. Everyone of my friends has had to have their own copy.

This is an excellent resource, for planning scrapbooking LOs the examples are very inspiring. I have already used the page maps several times.

When I have an idea block I flip through these and it gets me off and going again.

The page layouts in this book are easy to use, and can be simple or complex depending on which embellishments, papers, etc you use. The cards are handy to keep with your scrapbooking stuff for some on-the-spot inspiration.

I have alot of ideas books, but this one is the best!!! Becky Fleck is amazing. She not only had all original sketches in this book but comes up with news ones month after month. The icing on the cake-the cards. You don't have to carry the book with you everywhere you go. I slip the cards in my page planner and take it from there.

And the small "to go" cards are brilliant. I can carry them in my purse, and they help me take better, smarter photos, too. Love this whole package!

What a perfect book! It's for all types, even the pros for when you just draw a blank and can't think of how to put a page together. I do wish it would have been layed out by page size but it's easy to see how a 12x12 can be made into 8 1/2x11 and vice versa. Additionally, what they don't tell you is at the back of the book are punch out cards that have the sketch on one side and an example on the back. That alone is worth the money! Awesome book. Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful book for scrapbookers who have "Scrapbooker Block". It gives you inspiration and creative ideas to help you make fanastic and unique pages. It is a must have for any craft library.

I LOVE this book. It has so many ideas for a few pictures on your page all the way to over 6. The ideas are stimulating.

I was so excited that when I got it, I looked at some sketches and came up with 4 pages that are very simular. They are sketches I have not seen before.

I can't wait to share it with my friends. I will take the cards (that are portable) with me when we meet for scrapping this month. I know they will all be jealous.

If you don't have this book, you need to go on and order it! I don't want to sound like a commercial but this book has enhanced my scrapbooking. I have suffered with a scrapper's block for months and had purchased several scrapbook magazines but I didn't find anything fresh and exciting. This book kicked my scrapbooking back into high gear! This book was recommended by a friend and purchased on Amazon for a lot less than sold in a B&N brick and motar store. This gives me the jumping off point that I needed for my art. I was in a "rut" and this pulled me out of it. You can adapt these page maps to any project and add your personal touch and the cards that come with the book are great for crops. Don't delay, buy this book today!

I can't say enough about this AWESOME book. I helps stretch your own creativity, while leaving you with neat, clean looking pages. It's a little hard for me to convert the page size because I scrap 81/2X11 landscape, but she has a lot of examples on her web site, and that helps a lot. Love the book, and I love the challenge on 2Peas.

This book, (Page Maps) has many fun, exciting and enticing page layouts. It is a great way to do a page without any thought involved (maybe those days you want to be creative, but just aren't)! It also includes small page pullout cards that are great to take to crops! Enjoy and have fun with this resource full of great ideas!

There are a lot of layout books out there but this is one of two books that I own that I can truly say was worth the money. I love it and use it almost everytime I scrapbook! Good stuff!

This is now my favorite scrapbook idea guide. On each page you get a basic scetch of a layout and then two or three examples of how popular scrappers created their own page with the layout. Personal touches are noted when the artist changed the direction of the layout or added something that brouth the page to life. The commentary that goes with the layouts are fun to read and give a littel personal touch. There are helpful hints, "did you notice" (a little note bringing your attention to a small detail on the page) and the products used on each layout are listed. The book also opens flat so it is easy to use while you are scrapping. The bonus of having a pack of cards with the layouts on them is a wonderful idea and perfect for when you go to scrap sessions and don't want to carry a big book along. I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting new, creative ideas for their scrapbook pages.

What a great book!! Becky has outdone herself with it. I love the little cards at the end of the book that you can separate and take along with you to a crop. Definitely the best expenditure I've made in quite some time. Thanks Becky for a great book.

I don't usually buy sketch books but this one is unique. First of all, it is a beautiful book and just nice to hold and look through. It's one you will pick up often just to enjoy the creations inside, but you will also be informed and inspired!

I absolutely love the designs in this book. I also enjoy seeing what other scrappers have done with them. I scrap 8.5 x 11 and like that the author has page maps specifically for that size and shape, but she also shows how other scrappers have taken designs for different sizes and shapes and used the available page maps to make up their own designs.

At this point I haven't punched out the layout cards, but almost certainly will. I also like that the book lies flat because of the way it is bound without needing something heavy on the book to keep it on the page I need.

While I wish the book were a bit more organized (all 3 picture layouts in chapter 3 or whatever) all in all this was a superb addition to my scrapbooking library.

The format is easy to follow and understand. I recommend reading it all the way through first. Then, when you need to find a paticular number of photos or page size you can use the helpful index in the back. Becky really tries to help people see the versatility of sketches, which is also another reason reading it through and then searching for the layout works well.

Everyone seems to have mentioned the cards, and yes they are fabulous. I punched a whole through all of mine and now have them on a keyring as the box just didn't work too well for me. I also made a pocket at the back of the book to hold all my sketches that I'd printed or cut or tore out of magazines.

This is probably in my top 3 favorite scrapbooking books. I've used it for the past 8 layouts I've made, it just helps me get my creative juices flowing.

I love sketches and have purchased almost every scrapbooking idea book. Becky Fleck's book is by far my favorite and the one I turn to each time to scrap. The little flash cards was such a great idea. The sketch is on one side an the colored layout example is on the backside. Perfect for pulling out and sticking it with a page kit for a crop. I would highly recommend this book!

This book has become my favorite "go to" book for ideas when scrapping. I love my other sketch books, but the way Becky puts patterns and embellishments into her sketches makes it so helpful. I would highly recommend this book to any level scrapper.

I have been using Becky Fleck's pagemaps for almost 2 years. The book contains new pagemap designs. The best part of the book is the quick reference cards at the back of the book.

This book is awesome! I love all the sketch books out there but this one takes sketches over the top! The cards in the back make it even more portable. The price is a great find as well! It is definately a MUST HAVE!!!

For anyone who likes to follow sketches, this is your ultimate guide. In my opinion it's better than anything else out there! Not only are the sketches beautiful and well balanced just by themselves, but Becky did awesome at getting top notch designers along with her own gorgeous work to implement the designs. Without the sketches, I think I would still want to have this book for all the creative embellishment ideas each designer had. She also did awesome by adding in fun little tips and tricks on each page that are very easy for the average scrapbooker to follow.

I wasn't sure how I would like precious space in my much anticipated book being taken up with the repeated deck of cards, but they are so handy when planning pages for a crop--I just throwing one sketch in with a particular layout without all the bulk. I also love how I can organize the deck by page type and number of pictures so even when I'm at home I can thumb through the deck based on the number of photos I have to work with. My only wish is that she had organized her binder in the same manner with maybe some dividers for each type...

Now, my only question is when is Becky going to come out with her second book?!!

This is a fantastic sketch book. The full color book is fabulous, and the little cards in the back are the icing on the cake. They are so easy to take to crops. So many sketches, so little time!!! Love this!!!!

I go to Becky's Page Maps website every month to download the her latest sketches, so I have been eagerly anticipating this book. And I was not disappointed in the least. I own dozens of scrapbooking idea books, and this is hands down, the best one I have ever read.

Becky's sketches, as usual, are versatile and easily adaptable to any scrapping style or size, and the layouts in this book are stunning.

I can't think of a scrapper who wouldn't love this book. Experienced scrappers will love the inspiring example layouts, beginning scrappers will love the fact that the sketches are so very "do-able." I had been in a bit of a scrapping rut, and as soon as I opened this book, I ran to my scraproom and completed two layouts that I loved. This book has me excited about scrapping again.

And I haven't even gotten to the best part! The sketch cards are brilliant! They are heavy duty, high quality, and perfect to throw in a bag for a crop! Rather than create the box that is included in the book to store the cards, I used my crop-a-dile and punched holes through the cards and secured them on a ring.

Most of us scrappers regularly buy things we regret later. This will not be one of those purchases!

This is a great book to take on a scrapbooking retreat. I received this book just in time for a 4 day scrapbook get-a-way. I went to it for inspiration time and time again, as did several of my fellow scrappers. I love the format of this book - spiral bound inside a hard cover. I love the set of "to go" cards in the back of the book - though I have not takent them yet... I love the page map layouts, very useful when deciding on what to do with the 5 photos you have to scrapbook.
I had anxiously anxiously awaited this book to be published and I am not disapointed!

The minute I opened this book I knew it would be a favorite. From the binding to the additional punch out cards that you can take to crops easily to the awesome sketches and samples. This one is a must for sketch lovers!

This was such a great purchase. I love using sketches, so I knew I would love this book. It was made with such great quality! There is many ideas with the sketchs they use. There is also sketchs for 8 1/5 x 11 pages which can be easily used for 12 x 12 pages. There are 2 page layouts as well as 1 page layouts. The cards in the back are fun for when you are getting ready for a crop and want to make up some layout kits. YOu can just pop one in the kit and you are ready to go.

Becky's book is absolutely the best sketch book I've ever bought - and I have them all. Her designs are as simple or complicated as you want them. I like them because they are not just a bunch of boxes thrown on a page but well thought out designs with an eye for the proper use of embellishments. She utilizes the 1/3 2/3 design principle and also the use of 3's to draw the eye across the page. I've been reading each page from top to bottom so as not to miss a single tip or suggestion. Having the cards in the back to slip in a page kit was the most awesome time saver anyone could have thought of. I like that you can turn the designs left or right or even upside down and get a completely different look that is still balanced. Becky Fleck has thought of everything for this book, from the binding, to the great weight of the paper, the designs and tips inside, shopping lists and the special gift of the cards in the back. This book is so well thought out and presented..
Hard outside cover is very durable, inner spiral allows the book to lay flat on a table so it's EASY to use and the cards and box in the back are alone worth the cost of the book. Layouts are easy to interpret, great for beginnier or advanced and it can be used endlessly for years to come. Make a page from a sketch, wait a week, make another one, they will look nothing alike! Way to go Becky, Hurry up I can't wait for the next one! The tips and pointers on each page are interesting and easy to incorpoate in everyday scrapping. Just a fantastic book and you can tell right away, done by a seriously great scrapper herself, that's where all the little extra's conveniences come in to play, would only be thought of if you actually are a true scrapper!

Becky Fleck's sketches are great, and this book proves that! A great value - 60 new sketches, with full-color layouts to show variations on them. The best part of this are the laminated cards - a quick and easy way to keep a bunch of sketches handy, whether at home or at a crop. A must-have for scrappers!

If you only could buy one idea book (GASP! What an awful thought!) this would be the one.

The layouts are beautful and well-balanced. As another reviewer mentioned, they are very doable as opposed to many ideas that I would NEVER take the time to do. On the other hand, I suppose if you enjoy extremely elaborate LOs, you could do that too. The embellishments are given a spot on the map, but it is never spelled out what they have to be, so you could get as intricate as you want. There is plenty of creative freedom available. The sketches are also very versatile. I scrap 12x12, and for most of the 8-1/2 x 11 LOs I was immediately able to see how to translate them into the larger size. The book shows variations for each sketch, which gives you many ways to use them. They show rotation, inversion, direct copies and looser "interpretations" of the sketches. My head was all abuzz with ideas after I read this book.

Of course... the cards! They are beautiful and compact, including a full-color copy of the LO, the sketch, a shopping list, and titled by the number of photos in that LO. They come with their own carrying box that will keep them coralled and slip easily into your scrapbooking tote. Finally, they are heavyweight cardstock and they are laminated, so they should be very hardy. I organized my cards according to the number of photos on that LO. When I have pictures to scrap, I can flip immediately to the corresponding sketches, choose a LO and get working!

Also, this has not been mentioned, but this book is bound by a hidden spiral binding. This means that it fits perfectly on your shelf, with the title easily visible. It also means that it lays flat, which is invaluable when you are working with a sketch. I love this style of binding, and it is not easy to find. I would warn you, be gentle when you tear out your index cards. I tried to pull several pages worth out at once, and I bent the spirals open and pulled the book out of the cover! It was no big deal, as I was able to put it right back in and bend the spirals closed, but do be gentle.

Overall, one of the best sketch/LO books I have ever owned. I am quite pleased with my purchase

This is the best recipe book for Scrapping ever! Every page is packed with superb ideas! And all the pages are do able! Not outlandish as some idea books this is the best! This is worth an entire year of a subscription to Scrapbook magazine! Can't wait for the next edition!
