Same Soul, Many Bodies: Discover the Healing Power of Future Lives through Progression Therapy

"Noted psychiatrist Brian Weiss made headlines with his pioneering research on the healing power of past-life therapy in his million-copy bestseller, Many Lives, Many Masters. Now, in his astounding and groundbreaking new book, Dr. Weiss reveals how our future lives can actually transform us in the present. We all have lived past lives. We all will live future ones. What we do in this life will influence our lives to come as we evolve toward immortality. Dr. Weiss encourages this important recognition because recently he has not only regressed his patients into the past, but has progressed them into the future. And what they have discovered is that our futures are variable, so the choices we make now will determine the quality of life when we return. Using dozens of case histories, Dr. Weiss demonstrates the therapeutic benefits of progression, just as he has proved that journeys into our past lives can alleviate or cure our physical and emotional wounds in the present. Among the many patients who have benefited from the therapies are: Samantha, who overcame failures at school when she revisited her life as a Greek architect and later saw her future life as a great physician. Hugh, a psychic, tortured in the Middle Ages as a heretic, whose journey to the future brought him peace. Gary, whose glimpses into the future evaporated his depression and thoughts of suicide. Christina, whose past life and future memories enabled her to heal her relationship with her father and to finally find professional success and personal happiness. Evelyn, who, after reliving a past life as a Nazi officer and a future life as a teenage Arab girl, was able to release her fears and prejudices. Paul, whose love of Alison transcended past and future, transforming his current life and helping Alison to overcome a dangerous disease. Same Soul, Many Bodies is a revolutionary book, building on Dr. Weiss's discoveries about the past, a book that will take his millions of readers into an individual and collective future that they themselves will create. In the process, their present lives will be profoundly transformed, and they will find more peace, more joy, and more healing. "

Loved this book, found it very interesting and confirms to me that there is more to our lives than where we are now. Would recommend it to people willing to grow spiritually.

An eye opener for who is looking for clarity in some behavioural, emotional or repetitive problems. Only by realizing that there are more aspects in our lives that we can beter understand and feel, we step into another level of self realization. Thank you for this opportunity.

This book has many wonderful, uplifting exercises to help you along on your journey toward a fulfilling life. I always find Dr. Weiss' books fascinating as he delves into precognitive dreams and lives yet to be shaped or lived. Once we realized and accept all have the free will to create our destiny, our lives are totally within our control. Elaine Williams, author A Journey Well Taken: Life After Loss.

This book is only the third I've read on the subject of past and future lives... and all three have been in this past month. I don't know why I decided to finally start reading about it, but I've always believed in the concept of past lives and reincarnation- from the time I was a kid I seemed to just 'know' it to be the way things happened.

I thought this book was the best of the three so far. There was nothing in it that made me feel like I was reading a sci-fi novel, nothing to make me put the book down, roll my eyes and think the author is a lunatic trying to make a buck while insulting my intelligence.

Whether or not all the stories in this book are real or imagined by the people experiencing them, the message is simple and clear and should go without saying: Be kind to each other, show some love and compassion and the world will be a better place. Duh!! And because this is a book about past and future lives, it's important to add to the message this little reminder: What comes around, goes around. If not in this life, it'll find you in the next.

I don't meditate, though maybe I should. I don't talk about enlightenment or energies, souls or auras. I don't live in yoga pants and eat a diet of fruit and veggies. (Not that there's anything wrong with any of that; maybe after a few more books, I might start.) My point is that I'm just your average everyday person recommending a very interesting book that will definitely make you think and maybe make you more concious about your future choices in life and how they will affect you and others around you.

This is a book written with a great deal of loving kindness. I have to say that I was not completely convinced about "reincarnation" before I read this book, but now I feel comfortable about it. This is so much more than case studies and if ever there was a time to start believing that every life has a purpose, this is it. I can't wait to read more books by this author.

I have read almost every book written by Dr. Brian Weiss. He is brilliant and when I start to read his books, I find it difficult to put them down. I was fortunate to spend a week at one of his seminars in Rhinebeck, New York and it was a great experience.

The book "Same Soul, Many Bodies" by Dr. Brian Weiss is most likely the most fascinating book that I have read dealing with past life regression. I have long been a follower of Edgar Cayce and having read several books on his readings concerning various mysteries of our universe, I must say that Dr. Weiss has given me even greater insight into healing the body through past life regression. I am well on my way to practicing his techniques by using three other CD's of his that I have purchased. I have purchased several of his books to give to friends of mine. This book in itself has been quite absorbing.

In chapter 7, a young woman named Roberta is regressed to a past life when she was a Pakistani girl 500 years ago.

Well, I got news for you Dr Weiss. Pakistan was formed on Aug 15, 1947. Before that date, Pakistan did not exist.

At least do some research, Dr!

I have read several books by Brain Weiss. I was first impressed with his credentials as a graduate of Yale Medical School, and chair person at Mount Sinai Medical Center. My favorite of his books was "Many Lives, Many Masters", because he had a sense of awe at the discovery of hypnosis/ regression therapy as a healing tool. I enjoyed this book also because I have a fascination with the possibilities that we have many opportunities for learning and growing spiritually. Dr. Weiss doesn't seem to be trying to sell the concept, and goes on to say that you don't have to believe in reincarnation, but can accept it metaphorically. What is important is that regression therapy has the ability to heal present day hurts, as you can see in the multiple cases he uses in this book as examples of healing and moving forward. I might have been skeptical at first at the idea of future progression, but then again, it is difficult to ignore the common theme shared by multiple subjects in the areas of future scientific and spiritual advances

As a practitioner myself of past-life/spiritual regression therapy who works in Miami and is acquainted with some of Weiss' clients and students, and also as a metaphysical author, I have learned much from Dr. Weiss's writings over the years. In this book, Weiss delves into future life progression, which involves guiding a client to envision a potential future, which can help clarify things for the present. I've personally experienced this type of exercise and find it useful, though I wouldn't presume that the perceived future is one that will necessarily transpire in our 3D timeline. I found it interesting that Weiss's progression participants seemed to pick up on a mass shrinkage in the world population following some major changes/disasters on the planet within the next few hundred years. There are many other sources that have tapped in to perceptions about the coming changes, and Weiss offers another view of this from people projecting into probable future existences. Weiss has developed a readable style of presenting about his work and his findings, and he maintains an inspiring spiritual message that helps us appreciate the process of going through many lifetimes to learn spiritual lessons and become more loving beings. Weiss comes across as genuine and is one of the best ambassadors of this type of spirituality, bringing his mainstream science/medicine credentials to bolster the recognition that what he does is very real and effective. He'd have had no reason to embark on his mystical pursuits unless something very powerful and compelling had transpired, since he was a successful conventional psychiatrist when the transpersonal healing path opened up to him.

I loved this book! I was raised Catholic. Too many disappointments & unanswered questions, I'm beginning to study Buddhism. I love the feeling of hope surrounding reincarnation.
After studying about Theodora & Justinian, Greek Byzantine Rulers. Stories have been recounted that our Bible had been rewritten many times, to exclude Reincarnation.
I read this book in two days, and gave it to my Husband to enjoy. We both appreciated it so much, that we expanded our library to many more books by Dr. Weiss.
