Beautiful Deck of cards. Very colorful. Osho Zen Tarot: The Transcendental Game Of Zen

I've never had any Tarot cards myself, tho i must say that this deck really appeals to me. Its much more current day then many other decks and perhaps the biggest plus are the quotes from osho himself which are in the explanatory book.
Best example why you should buy this deck if your into tarot or any other kind of spirituality is the fact that when i did a reading for some of my friends (who are into regular tarot themselves) they where so impressed by the art, truth and texts that they wanted to know where i bought it so they could get a copy for themselves.

I bought the cards and book basically as a guide for focusing and meditation, which works quite well. They are based on the same concept as the traditional tarot cards, so I figure that anyone the uses the tarot cards will find these quite easy to work with. I had read a couple of books by Osho before I came across these cards, so it makes sense that he would incorporate his philosophy into these zen tarot cards.

Everytime I asked this tarot for an answer or guidance, it always gave me exactly what I needed to hear at the moment. Quite amazing. I love the messages that Osho has given on each card - not just a woodoo kinda thing like any other tarot I used in the past. Try to quiet your mind before you enter the reading. It somehow helps me queit my mind as well - very powerful and helpful.

Non-traditional, gorgeous, meditative illustrations(meaning i found myself staring at them for long periods of time), and peaceful, deep card meanings really make this deck different from the others. I love having it - it's great for dealing with complex, difficult situations. It will lighten the load, for you, or anyone you read for!

This Tarot deck is unique and insightful. It brings the complex information held within the teachings of Zen and allows the western mind to comprehend it easily. This Tarot deck is very different from the original decks but looses none of the impact.

This deck is enjoyable for all ages and adapts to where your awareness is in the moment.

I have been reading Tarot cards for about 20 years now, and working with the Osho Zen Tarot for about 9 of those. I was inspired to write my review when my old deck required replacing. I wore it out!

Whether you are a reader or a collector, this deck is a "must have." The artwork is STUNNING! I'm a big fan of color, and decks don't get much more colorful than this. I often study the illustrations the way I study paintings in a museum. There is always more to see, more to understand, than what first catches the eye. There is even something profound about the blank, black No-thingness card. Stare at that for a while, and you might suddenly find yourself having a vision of the Big Bang! Before there was everything... there was No-thing. These cards trigger personal revelations for both the reader and the person being read.

I find this deck to be a fascinating and refreshing "change up" from traditional Tarot decks. The Osho Zen is loosely based on traditional Tarot, but I find it most effective when doing self readings or reading for others who have "inner issues". It is an excellent divinitation tool when it comes to "inner issues" related to exploring spirituality, overcoming emotional/mental/spiritual blockages and obstacles, managing grief and/or chaos, understanding why one is stuck in a rut, etc., rather than readings involving external forces (job, money, relationship, relocation, etc.). Really great for people trapped in self-destructive cycles! This deck can provide a gentle but well-placed kick in the butt that inspires change and encourages progress.

The Osho Zen Tarot is also extremely useful for introspection and meditation. From the simple ritual of choosing a card in the morning for a "thought of the day" to doing a full spread when you feel out of sorts, the beauty and wisdom contained in this deck are a special magic all their own.

I've picked up the Zen Tarot numerous times in the last few years, mainly to understand what is going on in my life, what attitude would serve me when confronted with unknown situations and unpredictable people ...
I was first exposed to it in a virtual Dream Work class where we conclude every dream with a "reading" from Osho (or Rumi). What I most appreciate is the clarity and humor in this guidance. I've laughed a lot and always recognized ego's expressions in the material world. Anyone ready to grow and change will tremendously benefit from this. The illustrations by Ma Deva Padma are simply divine. Enjoy.
