Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R10OI4MF2XLR1M I found this book full of practical tips I could put into action right away, but more than that, it changed my relationship with time and the people and activities who try and steal it. Recommended for entrepreneurs of any kind - I am a landscaper and found it directly applicable to my life.

Same as all of you I hate those 5 star generated copy-paste style reports, what almost every business book has here on amazon, and always those are written by some marketing consultants.
And they are too pathetic and has no real value. So, you go on for reading the 1 star reviews. NOW FOR THIS BOOK - THERE IS NO OTHER WORDS, than just to say - IT IS LIFE CHANGING! I grasped every page of this book, like a fresh breeze of air at hot day - the EVERY i repeat EVERY word at this book can be in weight of gold or I would say diamonds, but only case you already have the real enterprenual experience. When I was reading this book, I found myself nodding all the way and say YES! That guy just say what's in my head! Wow, it appears not only me is thinking this or that! Wow, here is easy solution, that was just hanging around for that problem! And so so so again! And what is more important - this book has NO WATER INSIDE AT ALL!!!!1 Every page is so well written, that I just want to say, that this book will be re-read by me again and again. It's real life book. It's humorous, valuable and must read for everyone. It's not just about time management, it's about business I just took, and ordered all the books of this author. WHAT A BOOK! ...for taking the time to right a review. After all, is this really necessary to my life purpose?
Well, author Dan Kennedy deserves kudos for yet another in his blunt talk series on how to prosper as an entrepreneur. And, I believe saluting worthy writers is important to improving the quality of this world, even if not personally directly benefiting me. Like all of Dan's books, some readers will be put off by his blunt "talk." I am a fan of his writings because his blunt talk stretches my mind. His style of communication is not one I choose to use myself¡Kbut I respect how effective his can be, especially for those with the stomach for his blunt talk. Want a more corporate style presentation on this subject, then I highly recommend Dave Allen's outstanding work and fine books. But, for entrepreneurs willing to hear it from someone whose success is very apparent to those who know his business (as I do from being a member of one of his membership groups), then I strongly recommend this book. Read this in connection with Tim Ferris' "4 Hour Work Week" and you will be rethinking every task that you do. What we accomplish in whatever time we have on this earth is a function, in part, of the choices we make with regard to how well we use our time. A 25% improvement in our choices with respect to time...something Kennedy shows us numerous ways that we could achieve that and more...would mean we accomplish 25% more. What's missing from this book (but does not detract from its value) is Dan's wisdom on leveraging ones productive time. Undoubtedly, a subject for another book from this prolific author. Dan Kennedy can do no wrong, and this book is no exception. Much better than the books that show you how to go through your email the fastest way possible...Dan shows you how to get people to not send you email.
Great, great stuff. (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-12-23 10:50:00 EST)

How much of your day is actually spent in productive work? Not the time you spend in your office staring at the computer screen, on the phone, checking your email, or dealing with the umpteenth question from that employee that always seems to need just another minute of your time. Productive time is the time you are actually earning money by directly working on a project.
No BS Time Management for Entrepreneurs explains that it's those little irritants and side tasks that only take a few minutes of your time that gradually and progressively eat away your precious time. Therefore, the only real way to make productive use of your time is to limit these distracters and focus on the real work at hand. Though I had already realized a good deal of my own distracters and time eaters before I read this book, No BS Time Management for Entrepreneurs made me realize exactly how limiting these behaviours really are and how much more productive I could become. I don't have to limit sleep to a few hours a night. I just have to realize the value of my time and react appropriately. (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-12-15 10:45:23 EST)

The thing I like about this book is its no-nonsense, get-to-the-good-stuff style. There are lots of tips, but probably the best advice is to calculate your desired income and plan your work days accordingly. There is also a good chapter on the 10 productivity tips that actually work. Those two items alone are worth the price of the book.

This book should be required reading for any business school student.
There used to be mandatory lists of the classics in some English literature courses...this should be in a similar list of mandatory reading for anybody wanting to make the most of their time. Kennedy describes how certain people will suck up your time that you could and should be putting to better and much more productive use. He also talks about how people who are habitually late are also unethical and shady in other parts of their lives. This part really struck home to me because the night before I read this part I had decided to quit associating with a certain individual who was always late and didn't have the kind of business ethics I wished to be associated with. Seeing Dan's writing about it only made me realize how we allow bad habits to rob us of better usues of our time. There are also hints about how to not allow phone calls to interrupt your thinking and producing. Kennedy also talks about how a simple pen and paper can be more reliable than an electronic device that might fail and lose your info. I had been using a 4 x 6 index card myself for many years because I too found it to be more easier to transport than an electronic device and more durable than Dan's suggestion of a folded legal pad piece of paper. There are other tips that make this book one of the best values you can ever buy if you only put it to use. (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-12-15 10:45:23 EST)

Of all the No B.S. books, this one is the best of the bunch. True to its title "No BS", Dan gives real-world, down to earth tips on managing time effectively. Forget about fancy, nonsense small talk, this one contains brutally honest, harshly simple pointers that makes this book a classic. In fact, I read this book at least three times and found it valuable every time.
FYI, Dan's books and style is not for the timid person who's looking for affirmation. This is no "feel good" book, it's a blast of ice-cold reality every serious or semi-serious entrepreneur needs. (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-12-15 10:45:23 EST)

Like most of Dan's books I've read, this is another gem. If you want to be more productive, I would highly recommend you get this book and implement the ideas. Many people might find the ideas extreme but there's no doubt they work and if your time is really important (like mine) you'll at least use some of the ideas. Some of the ideas are such no brainers but we are so addicted to our habits that i guess we forget.

This book is absolutely the best I've ever read on time management. Many books on time management claim to have a method that is different than any other time management book every written, but this book is right on target. As as result of reading this book my concepts of time have been altered permanently for the better. Incredibly effective. I highly recommend it.

The one thing I've learned about 5 Star reviews on Amazon is that about 90% of the time they are written by the author of the book. If you want the unbiased truth about any book or product, read a few of the other ones.

Like Dan Kennedy, I'm a work-at-home marketing entrepreneur, so the information in this book was very valuable for me. He covers not just time management, but touches lightly on other subjects as well, offering some words of wisdom any entrepreneur would appreciate. His writing style is clear , convincing, and "no b.s.". 5 stars.

What I liked about this book is that it gives practical advice...no etherial, pie-in-the-sky...I guess that is why he called it NO BS. His idea about working to a clock was worth 10X the cost of the book alone. This one ideas has put an 'extra day' of productive time into my week. I highly recommend this book and I am devouring the other books in his series! In this book, Mr. Kennedy makes a number of points that if adhered to, will serve to increase one's wealth and one's satisfaction with life.
For example, he shows how to get a measure of what your time is really worth (and it's not the standard desired $$ divided by (52 weeks times 40 hours)). This is an important number to get because once you understand the value of your time, the ability to make decisions and to recognize time wasters becomes much easier. As another example, he makes the point that ideally, work time is devoted toward creating wealth and that time wasters (people, telephone, email, etc) interruptions, and distractions directly inhibit or even destroy one's ability to create wealth. He then provides a variety of practical and effective means to protect one's self from these time wasters and interruptions. Throughout the book, Mr. Kennedy reveals his own regimented and disciplined action towards achieving that which is most important to him. Readers will likely find this insight helpful. Also, there is marketing and sales wisdom scattered throughout the book that will prove interesting and useful to those in business. I particularly liked the phrase, "objective orientation versus activity orientation". I have personally found that successful people always orient their time and actions around objectives that are meaningful, valuable, worthwhile, and important. Everyone else spends their time on tasks and activities that are nothing more than reactions to whatever is thrown their way. The one big omission that I did see in this book was that Mr. Kennedy did not talk about one of the greatest time savers / maximizers of all - systems. All in all though, this book will certainly provide insight into how to use one's time more effectively. At the same time, you actually already know inside of yourself what those important, worthwhile, and valuable things are that you should be doing. The question is whether or not you have the control and discipline of your self to do what's most important which in turn will project to others that you only do what's most important - causing them to respect you and your time. Or, will you spend your minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years on low-level, entry-level, beginner-level, $7 an hour tasks and activities? If this is how you choose to use your time, someone else will do the $100, $500, $1,000 per hour tasks and reap the big money and rewards. It's your choice. No book can help you with self-control and self-discipline. You've got to help yourself. (Review Data Last Updated: 2006-11-19 06:57:35 EST)

The author has a conversational writing style - he writes as if he was talking. So it's not great literature - but he does have the punch to deliver a most needed kick in the back to start thinking of your time as a resource. A precious resource you should use wisely and prevent from being wasted or abused by others. The very simple trick of calculating a value of your hour is a surprisingly effective tool for reframing the way you think about time.
The author also, contrary to many modern myths, stresses the importance of concentration and therefore value of uninterrupted working time. Indeed, my meditation practice shows that my mind needs between ten to fifteen minutes to settle and concentrate. How long are you able to think uninterrupted in your work asks the author? Do all it takes to make sure you will be able to work uninterrupted when you need to. For me Kennedy's simple slogan "If they can't find you they can't interrupt you" proved very effective. Since reading this book I started to give my cellphone to my assistant when I start working on something. I also switch off e-mail and communicators. And I can see the results already. Thanks Dan. Dan Kennedy is one tough cookie, I heard about Dan when I joined the Know More Media Network, and they pointed out that we had the same publisher. I checked out his blog and website and just read "Time Management for Entrepreneurs", which is really time management for anyone who wants to be productive and become rich. Perfect. I was happy to see that I have alot in common with Mr. Kennedy as I already implement alot of his tools and suggestions. I did get some great new ideas and kept a notebook nearby while I read his book so I could take notes. I am about to embark on his strategies and feel confident they will work. If you are serious about what you want to do and know what your goal is, pick up this book. The title is very true, No B.S. I love it. It is obvious to me why Dan is a success and I thank him for sharing his secrets in his books.

After reading this book I took a look at how I managed my time (horribly!) and made some big changes -- inspired by this book. I'm happier and more productive and I think my clients dig my new style. Still, truth be told, some of the tips and work style techniques shared in this book just aren't practical. However, the concepts behind the tips are sound and can be easily adapted. For example, I have used the spirit and rationale behind Dan's fax technique (not practical for me) to make email communications less frequent and more succinct, using recaps via email in bullet style, inviting replies.

This book is really useful for me. It is filled with the attitude of using time as it is the most valuable thing we have. Actually it is like that our time is more worth than money! He makes one really value being punctual and time efficient. Just understanding that unnecessary wasting time takes away time for the necessary waste of time :-) Examples of time wasters are unnecessary meetings, untimely interruptions (close the open door policy), unscreened incoming phonecalls. Examples of solutions are making lists (schedules, priorities, etc), taking control when to do what, and delegating.
What I like most, it is very easy to read, and can start using ideas directly. It also gives me a needed perception of valuing time and be more focused on getting more efficient. (Review Data Last Updated: 2006-06-25 09:07:54 EST)

What I mean by that statement is the book is an excellent time management tome for all not just entrepreneurs.
Certainly, it is written from the perspective of and towards entrepreneurs. There is no reason I see though why people from all walks of life with all different types of careers can't incorporate and use his suggestions. Currently, I am an aspiring entrepreneur with a day job and while I think the books suggestions regarding topics like how you should value your time have been helpful the most immediate practical use I've found for the suggestions in the book are in regards to how I structure my work day so I have more free time to pursue entrepreneurial objectives. Highly Recommended. (Review Data Last Updated: 2006-06-25 09:07:54 EST)

Can you spell A-R-R-O-G-A-N-T? There are some excellent ideas here, and some that you will not find elsewhere. You can tell a lot about the author, though, by his statement that you should get rid of a spouse who does not wholeheartedly support the greed-a-holic focus that he teaches. His arrogant, judgemental, and intolerant stances are terribly simplistic and better-than-thou. (Affirmative action programs do not, as he says, try to create unfair entitlement to priviledges that are not deserved.) Learn what you can from this book, but steer clear of the author's attitudes, righteousness, and disrespect of others.

This book exists in its own category. While a typical time management book will implore you to develop sophisticated "to do" lists and to organize and save time by getting rid of magazine subscriptions that you don't need, this book is the nuts and bolts guide to real time management from a person that knows what being busy is all about.
Save your money on all of the other time management BS books out there and buy this one. This book has real world solutions to everyday challenges. Dan Kennedy tells it like it is in this book. The information inside is priceless. (Review Data Last Updated: 2006-06-25 09:07:54 EST)

Having just read Dan Kennedy's time management book, I am more thrilled than ever that I was introduced to Mr Kennedy's books and courses some 18 months ago! I believe the principles in this book to be not only "priceless," (which is perhaps contradictory to the subject of the 1st chapter), but it's also the CORNERSTONE of his entire business success and philosophy.
The book is *that* important! Many folks would rather try Dan's other books and courses first... after all, the subject of this book doesn't sound as 'sexy' as many of Dan's other products. But close reading will reveal just how *little* you'll really understand in all his other courses until you truly "get" the principles of this book. A warning, however: if you're easily offended at being called to account for your own level of success, AVOID this book. You'll just become depressed at how little you *really* want out of life... "winners" only, please! But for the right reader, this book can be the 5:00am firecracker that makes you sit bolt upright in bed, in a cold sweat, *determined* to take full charge of your life! I'd give it 6 out of 5 if I could... it's that powerful! (Review Data Last Updated: 2006-06-25 09:07:54 EST)

Reading pages 3-10 of this book will change your life if you have the guts to carry out the exercise Dan Kennedy recomends to get to your "number."
I bought the book for my entire staff of lawyers. We read it and discussed it. We immediately implemented several changes to our "systems" which resulted in higher client satisfaction and a more productive day for all of us. We figured we made "thousands of dollars" in the first few weeks of employing some of Kennedy's very specific techniques. I highly recomend that any business owner buy a copy, not just for himself or herself, but for the whole staff. It doesn't do any good if only one person understands and "gets" what Kennedy is teaching. We also bought his new "Business Success Book" and eagerly look forward to the "Sales" book due out shortly. I've been a student of Dan's for over two years and in that time I've seen my practice and productivity grow, even though my family continues to grow simultaneously. My practice members often ask where I find the time to run my practice, market, and spend (lots) of time with my family. The answer quite simply is that I use many of Dan's teachings. This book is great because it isn't full of a bunch of pie-in-the-sky ideas. It is full of practical strategies that can (and should) be implemented immediately. I will read it again.

I applied one tactic on page 139 and it made me $19,760.13. What a terrific return on investment! The sub-chapter on, "How to Drown in Opportunity and Success" has produced lots of additional money making opportunities. It was counter-intuitive at first, but when I applied his strategies I got terrific results. I have people calling, begging for an appointment for me to work with their money making projects.

I bought the book on a Sunday. It so good I had finished by Monday morning. By page 7, I was already implementing one of the strategies provided and thinking differently about my valuable time. And I've put stakes through the hearts of some of my "time vampires" like e-mail and the phone. If you value your time, you'd be dumb not to invest in this book.

If you are looking for a couple of platitudes and a new gimmicky "ring tone" for your Palm Pilot this is not the book for you. Dan gets right to what works, why it works, and the
mega changes you must make from normal time management theory if you are going to change your lifestyle and income now. As a long-time student of Mr. Kennedy, I can assure you he practices what he preaches, and his adivce has made me thousands of dollars. I fully expect this book to make me millions (assuming I implement his teaching). If you are ready to make a geometric leap in your productivity, follow Dan's rules, and you will. This is the best hands on practical time management book, I have ever read. (Review Data Last Updated: 2006-06-25 09:07:56 EST)

This book is worth its weight in gold to the serious entrepreneur that wants to be much more effective, and have a great life at the same time. Effectiveness is not just about working faster but about working smarter and on the right things. Dan brings his unique and enjoyable style to this sometimes boring topic. I consider time management to really be "Life" Management and Dan is a master of this topic.
Time is the one thing we all get the same amount of-- millionaire or minimum,- wager; let this book help you lead a better and more fulfilling life. You can't help but get at least one great idea from this updated book. (Review Data Last Updated: 2006-06-25 09:07:56 EST)

This is by far the best "hands on" tools book I've read in time management. Most time management books give you guidelines, rules, and tools that you never use-- relying on a detailed multi-level guideline-- and I'm just not wired that way. As a result of the many years of reading these books I lowered my confidence in believing I was not a functional business person. This book, however, shows you how-- precisely-- we rob ourselves of time-- our most valuable asset. To waste time is the waste life and Dan Kennedy hones in on all the ways we waste life through choosing "time vampires" that drink the life right out of us. A HUGE eye-opener for anyone serious about transforming their life through the value of time, energy, and PROFIT.
Before reading this book I felt I had a "high regard" for my time, but found more than 10 crucial points that made me clearly see and realize how much time, energy and money I wasted. Now I'm able to know in the first contact, situation, or new business relationship whether or not it's worth the "time" investment. This book made me really look at myself and all the "time management mistakes" I made-- not easy to do, but if you're serious about taking self responsibility and becoming a self-actualizing success, this is A MUST READ! It's "back to basics" on how Dan Kennedy finds the time to run his highly successful consulting/writing/speaking business. This is probably the tenth time management book I've read and I took away a few good ideas. Dan would certainly say I am wasting time writing this review on a time management book. I guess the reason I'm giving it four stars is that he does not discuss the time management techniques that he uses to make his family/personal life successful.
