An awesome example of how free enterprise beats the U.S. Government, yet again, at doing its job. The Authors are enterprising and passionate people doing the necessary work that the FBI is afraid to do. The Department of Justice hand cuffs itself, voluntarily enslaved to "political correctness," and misses the boat in the fight against terrrorism. The Author's work has saved the day by taking the reigns and handing the FBI a wake-up call, as well as the evidence the govt. should have gathered. This is a classic illustration of how private citizens can, and usually do, make the difference, and how most crimminal investigations conducted by the FBI, rely heavily on the work, involvement, attentiveness, and bravery of common citizens. This book illustrates how citizens must play a bigger role, since the FBI and other agencies can not be counted on to protect us fully. It shows how political correctness makes us (all of humanity, not just Americans) our own worst enemy, and this is a battle that we cannot afford to lose. The Muslim agenda is exposed in this book and needs to be broadcast everywhere. Islam's agenda is not dissimilar to Hitler's, and in like manner, it exploits out naivete, our apathetic slumber, and our political correctness. How many lives werfe lost before we woke up and addressed Hitler's threat? Muslim Mafia is one more alarm call. We must wake up now. Kudos to Muslim Mafia.

Some reviewers here impugn the reliability of the book's authors and sources but dismiss the unreliability of CAIR itself.

I actually read this book, and frankly it is a slow starter. Like any investigation of a foreign organization, it contains an alphabet soup of strange names that will have your head swimming. As such, it is somewhat boring ... that is ... until you get to chapter eight, "CAIR's Ten Biggest Whoppers." Here the author uses CAIR's own statements to illustrate its outrageous, contradictory, and sometimes humorous claims. Salient among these is,

"Support for CAIR has grown," Hooper added. [Footnote 20]

Two months later, CAIR filed a court brief in which it acknowledged membership indeed was down, blaming it on bad publicity from the Holy Land terror trial. It pleaded with the judge hearing the case to strike its name from the list of co-conspirators.

"This negative reaction by the American public can be seen in the decline of membership rates and donations resulting from the government's publicizing of CAIR as an unindicted co-conspirator," CAIR attorney Moffitt wrote in the brief. [Footnote 21]

Among the proof he submitted to the court was the same Washington Times article Hooper just two months earlier had trashed as false and biased. Apparently even CAIR's lawyers can't keep up with CAIR's lies.

This book is mostly nonsense. As another reviewer has already pointed out, if CAIR was routinely breaking the law, the US Government would have already shut it down. Instead, we have nothing but an individual's so-called "undercover infiltration" of CAIR by pretending he was a Muslim convert. In certain Christian circles, and neo-con groups, any theory that demonizes Islam as a legitimate world religion, and portrayed as a socio-political movement bent on Islamicizing the entire world, will sell really well! Thats the target audience of this book. To frighten you, hate Muslims, buy their brand of Kool-Aid and live in fear-mongering hatred. From the point of view of someone with a investigative background, this book is mostly a xenophobe's wet dream. Even Christians are appalled by it, and have publicly stated it. WND and Clarion Fund must be in cahoots together to cook this book up!

Only the Holy Roman Catholic Church can -- think of Vienna, Lepanto, the Iberian peninsula!
I bought the book to use my dollars to support the idea: We must recognize Islam for the danger that it is.
It is a good book to share, but already I was advised it may not be a good book for others to see me with in the work place (where there are not just a couple of people of middle eastern culture).

I found the things revealed in this book incredibly disturbing. I find the reviews here accusing the authors of racism even more disturbing, however. What race is Islam, again? And when did it become a crime, or evidence of racism, to conduct original research and report on the truth, however upsetting that truth may be? People who accuse the counter-jihadist movement of hatred should stop and take a good look at the cognitive dissonance required for them to see people who beat their women, kill their own children, blow up schools, behead journalists, and fly planes into buildings as some kind of freedom-fighter victims of Western oppression.

Anyone who reads or watches the news is familiar with the Council on American Islamic Relations, a pressure-group which vigorously defends Muslim extremism and violently tries to stifle any suggestion of objective truth about extreme Islam. A courageous young journalist infiltrated CAIR and copied hundreds of documents which demonstrate clearly that CAIR is a criminal organization. CAIR uses the tools of other criminal organizations, and takes advantage of the freedoms and toleration of the United States to subvert non-Muslim cultures and institutions. Their goal is that America become part of the Muslim world and impose strict Shariah law. Their methods include intimidation, disinformation, and spreading Middle Eastern oil money to buy power and influence. The most frightening aspect of their campaign is the extent to which CAIR has fooled or frightened the American media, opinion-leaders, lawmakers, educators, and the military into acquiescense.

Enough truth about CAIR has leaked into the media that one can connect the very disturbing dots if you have been keeping tabs.
However this book connects them all, multiplying by a few factors the number and colors in the lines and even brings the picture to life.
As I read it I just kept wondering why the main stream media is so actively ignoring this story.

Worthwhile read.

It's been a while now that this book has been around and quite a few people have read through it. Even though the authors have conducted a pseudo investigation of CAIR, the truth of the matter is, CAIR has not done anything in violation of the laws of the land. If they had, the United States government and their barrage of informants, inciters and spies which have already infiltrated many Muslim organizations and Masjids alike (in the US and abroad) would have already picked up on it.

Good book / bad book aside, co-author David Gaubatz and son had to do some things which are illegal according to United States law in order to create this book. Such as stealing and then profiting off of the stolen material. I guess this is okay though, as long as it is for a good cause--such as tarnishing the name of Islam, correct? Perhaps if CAIR was a Islamic Bank and David+co had stolen thousands of dollars instead of pages of information and then went on to invest that stolen money, the supporters of this book would similarly turn a blind eye.

Just a thought.

The draft order, agreed to by attorneys for CAIR as well as for Dave Gaubatz and his son Chris, was filed along with a joint motion asking the judge to enter the order.

"We're glad that there's been an agreement to return all of the property that has been stolen from us," CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper told TPMmuckraker this morning. CAIR says many thousands of pages of internal documents were taken. Now, Hooper said, "we'll move forward with our legal action," declining to specify what will come next.

Daniel Horowitz, one of Gaubatz's lawyers who earlier this month told us in an interview that he was relishing the chance to butt heads with CAIR, told TPMmuckraker this morning that he didn't negotiate the agreement. His colleague, the trial lawyer Martin Garbus, did not immediately return a call seeking comment about what happened in the case, and what, if anything, will come next.

Garbus told Politico, which first reported the news, that the Gaubatzs will continue to fight CAIR "in the context of the litigation," but not over the preliminary injunction.

Muslim Mafia, the foreword of which was written by Rep. Sue Myrick (R-NC), prompted Myrick and three House GOP colleagues to pursue a probe of possibly Muslim intern "spying" on Capitol Hill. Gaubatz has made many controversial statements, most recently making, and then retracting, a call for a backlash against Muslims after the Fort Hood shootings.

The order filed yesterday goes well beyond a judge's ruling earlier this month that Gaubatz had to return a narrower set of documents, including those that contain confidential employee information.

This book is a thorough investigation in the Center on American Islamic Relations, which has been proven to be a front for terrorism and they funnel money to Hamas. This is a must read for every American. We can no longer trust any Islamic group.

What makes this book valuable is the appendix, in which actual copies of documents are shown. CAIR, an organization that has presented itself as a "moderate Islamic" spokesman for American Muslims is nothing of the sort. It is a supporter of islamofascism, and is responsible for cowing American administrations for the past 20 years at least. This book is a no-nonsense account of the findings of a mole who infiltrated CAIR and documented their activities--and their interlocking directorships with most other public Muslim groups, including so-called "charities." The book also follows the money, which to me is a devastating indictment.

Muslim Mafia is an excellent book exposing the jihadists in our midst. The authors use many quotes from Islamic leaders that show a completely different agenda from what they say publicly. It's a must read for everyone who loves America.

I think this book is a must read for all Americans for informational and educational purposes. This book exposes the seriousness and dedication Muslims have in obtaining their desire for world domination. It is educational to those that don't understand the Muslim religion and a Muslim's dedication to fellow Muslims. It is informitive in exposing the infiltration of Muslims in American government and law enforcement.

Written by someone who had infiltrated the CAIR and has the documentation to show what they are really about. If the information contained was not accurate, why would CAIR go to court and demand that the copies made be returned to them? This book is a real "wake up" call to all Americans. Americans must connect the dots, even when it means openly discussing someone else's religion: the ideology of Islam is deceiving us into thinking it is not the enemy. But as rules of war goes, "war is deception." Americans stay blind at their own peril.

The book is full of hersay and assumptions and have no value, poor value for the money!!

Well-written and documented expose of a 5th element. It's too bad that the mainstream media no longer has investigative reporters such Bernstein and Woodward. Instead we have to turn to people oustide of the 4th column to uphold the principles and institutions of this blessed country against the 5th column. The authors detail how their strategies and tactics are comparable to those of the mafia, not a civil rights group.

I recently read this book. For many years, I really believed that there were people within our geographical boundaries who had a hidden political and religous agenda against our democratic way of life. Mr. Gaubatz and Mr. Sperry gave an accurate voice to many Americans' concern and worry. I know there are some individuals who will minimize the authors' incredible research. Either they are asleep to this or do not care. I urge everyone to read this book. It will be slow because of the detail but it will be worth it.

After this book, there is absolutely no excuse for any politician, law enforcement officer, or any government employee to allow anyone from CAIR or any of the myriad Muslim Brotherhood organizations in this country even the time of day.

To those of us who have the interest and dedication to being informed, there is not much new in this book, save perhaps documentary confirmation of what we already knew, and a single source for a lot of information which has come out in bits and pieces over the last few years.

Perhaps now that it is all in one place, in a very readable format, more of the general public will have the chance to meet the enemy within and adjust their perception accordingly.

Make no mistake; CAIR and it's Muslim Brotherhood co-conspirators have done a masterful job of creating an intricate web of deception all hidden behind the facade of "The Religion of Peace". This book tells a very different about Muslims in America. Not ALL muslims, but those that are supporters of CAIR. This book reveals the corrupt nature of domestic based political/lobbying groups and how they control politicians. Political Correctness has aided CAIR to the maximum and this book shows why.

On his show, Glen Beck articulated the preposterous notion that the communications system "OnStar" that is found on many GM vehicles could be abused and used for surveilance of private citizens if it fell into the wrong hands (ie: the federal government which invested money in GM). If you believe in thories like that, I highly recommend this book.

I can't believe I was forced to read this non-sense.

It's just a series of quotes from the Islam-bashing circle that is making a killing off of scaring the bejeezes out of innocent Americans to make a quick buck.

They'll quote so and so, and so and so will quote them as 'authorities' on the subject. And teh circle goes round and round. And people just soak it up.

CAIR should really consider an anti-defamation suit, because parts of this book are the textbook definition of defamation.

Books like this get the "1 star treatment" from the liberals but just ignore them. The truth about this subject and the anti American movement (starting with the white house) is slowly making it's way into the mainstream, no thanks to the left wing media. The authors of this book are professional anti-muslim bigots. CAIR is a civil rights organization that by their own admission seeks to protect civil rights of american muslims. This includes increased participation of mareican muslims in the political process. There is nothing wrong with this. It only shows that america is a great country where anyone can make it and muslims are a prime example of that. The two muslim congressmen who were largely elected to represent a progressive and largely non muslim electorate are a testament to how far muslims have come to making it possible for not just them but everyone else to achieve the american dream. What these begots aim to do however is to thwart these positive pro active efforts by american muslims to realize the american dream. There is a great deal of bigotry particularly from the far-right, which seeks to limit the participation of american muslims and portray them as a fifth column. WND the publishers are a prime mouthpiece for these bigots. WND is also known for conspiracy theories such as the Obama rounding up conservatives and placing them in concentration camps, "Obama is secret muslim" and "obama was born in kenya" mantras of the teabaggers, birthers and other darlings of the far right.

What they are accusing CAIR of is called "lobbying" and its a constitutionally protected activity with nothing nefarious about it. What what they see as a problem is being muslim while lobbying. The four republicans who promoted this book are ignorant bigots who just want to stir up some anti muslim hysteria in the feeble hope that they could whip up some electoral momentum from some racist supporters.
