Dinardo offers a brief, yet top-notch look at the Wehrmacht's reliance on horse transport. While the maps provided are near illegible, the modest 133 pages of text offers a counter to the Goebbels' hype of the blitzkrieg machine. Chapter 8, Perpetuation of a Myth, is particularly enlightening. Text is very reader friendly and can be enjoyed by the novice student and more serious-minded reader.
