The Litigation Paralegal: A Systems Approach, 4th Edition, is geared toward paralegal education and legal studies programs. However, it is also useful for program coordinators and directors, working paralegals in law offices, and for anyone with a general interest in the litigation process.

".....THIS FOURTH EDITION IS SUITED TO SEVERAL TYPES of students.
These include the traditional college classroom student, the student learning through a virtual course, and the paralegal being trained in the law office as a litigation paralegal....." [from the book of the preface by James W. H. McCord] (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-10-04 05:58:35 EST)

I had to buy this book as part of a college course curriculum.
This was an informative and well written book which was also easy to read and follow. I can't stand boring complicated college books so this one was a welcome change. It really helped to break down the litigation process and defined many terms and uncomplicated some things that would have been quite difficult otherwise. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone just wanting to know more about litigation, especially those who don't want to be bogged down with technical legal jargon which is hard for most people to understand.
