I'm 21 and still this is my favorite series of all time. It's so addicting that you can't put it down. While I was reading these I became such a hermit because I was so addicted. Since, I've lended them to others and got them hooked. I recommend Harry Potter to EVERYONE! Read this series!

If you haven't read them..... Then get on it. These are the greats books ever. They have a little of everything. They are great for all ages. The later books could be a little scary for younger children but that is why the parent should read them first. Just great books all around.

I purchased this book set as a gift for my little 8y/o niece who is an advanced reader and asked for it. Her mother says that she literally attacked the books reading in every nook and cranny in the house and taking the books every place she goes. They both loved the set because it was easier than the full-size versions for those little hands to handle. In addition, the ease of having a compartment to manage the books was most appreciated as well as pretty. So, this set is a huge hit for my little reader and her mother. Needless to say my niece is completely enamored with the stories and her teachers are impressed with her ability to read, understand, and retain the content making over 95% on her related tests for reading points! And, I am a very happy aunt having purchased something that lived up to its reputation for quality literature and exceeded my expectations for a quality product!

Ordered the books 4/7 and it is 5/20 and I still don't have them. Shipping to the U.S. Virgin Islands takes some time, but this is ridiculous. I'm trying to find a way to communicate with customer service on your web site . . . it seems that option does not exist. I'm so frustrated I will never order from you again unless you respond to me NOW!!!!

A nice set. I would love to have one for all 7 books but not for the hardcover at sky high prices. This is a great alternative.

Great series, great characters, great writing. The story is engrossing, the characters are flawed and human, which makes them lovable and the magic is real. I wasn't really interested in reading these. I had already seen the first four movies and didn't have any desire to read the books. My mother got me to read the first one and I found I couldn't put it down. I immediately ordered this set and read through the books in a couple of months. I love them! The books are much better than the movies and I recommend them to anyone who loves good fiction, adults & children alike.

Good value for money; however, the binding is not as good as I had expected. I can see that pages will start falling out before my sons finish reading the six books

The shipment arrived in time and I was able to enjoy all the books except for the 7th and last one, but my BIG problem was that the third book was missing about 100 pages!! I couldn't believe it, it was seriously frustrating when getting into the book and it was missing a huge chunk. Make sure when you get your order to see all the pages are there.

I resisted reading this for a while simply because it was so popular, but it was a spectacular read. My only regret is that I cannot read it again for the first time.

Having seen a few of the movies and heard great things from friends about these books, I thought it was about time I finally got around to reading this series. I'm currently on book 3 and I am a total fan. This 6 book collection is great value for money!!

It truly brings out the kid in you, and I love the getting lost in the stories!

Awesome set of books. A must read. Book two lags a bit but turns out to be important in the end.

My friends insisted I read it. This is a very poorly written book with stereotypical characters, thin plot elements, shallow thematic development, silly attempts at humor and about as much originality as a typical television show. It is really sad to see something like this get so much attention. If kids grow up on this sort of thing, it is no wonder that as adults they have no sense of thoughtful and well-written literature. Read this only if your idea of great literature is Robert Parker, Stephen King, or a Spiderman comic. God help us all.

To maintain a cohesive focus for a series this long, and this complex takes diligence, determination and a focus of a true hero. I hear we can expect no less for Lynn Hardy's new series Prophecy of the Flame: Love's Dawning. Some are calling it "the evolution of Harry Potter.

Haven't put the books down since I brought them

Such a great buy. I had seen all the movies that have come out, but I wanted to read the books. I am an avid reader, but I thought the books were going to be more for children. I was wrong! I am so glad that I allowed myself this little luxury. The movies make more sense now and I can pass them on to my daughter when she is old enough to read because I know they will still be in great shape.

The books arrived in time, they were in excellent condition, however the box was damaged.

The books and story are brilliant but i'm waiting ages on it to be delivered.

These are great books and a great way to encourage my daughter to read more. My daughter is only 9 years old but she loves Harry Potter and has a great vocabulary. She tends to be lazy about reading but this series with me reading parts and she the other parts is just great fun!

At this point I guess everyone know that Harry Potter is a great series filled with great characters and an interesting and not completely obvious plot. A great book for adults and young adults a little. Personally my favorite aspect of the books is that when they age, they actually age. The don't just get bigger, but they get more mature and start to think more. A truly great set of books.

Received the Harry Potter multiple book set (in paperback) in time for Christmas gift-giving to young nephew who is just discovering Harry Potter novels. I bought this set for my oldest son he's 17.He loves Harry Potter he had books the first 5 books but they got destroyed.I borrowed the 6 th. book from our local library and,he read it in like 3 days.we have all the movies that are out on d.v.d. I bought the 7 th and,final book for him for his birthday then found 1-6 here on Amazon.com and,bought them for him for christmas.He's updating me on what's happening as he reads them.Thank you Amazon.com for making my son very happy!!

It was an absoloutly wonderful buy. I sat and read the first 6 books within 4 days. I couldnt put them down, the writing is bewtiching and you fill so close to the characters so that when things effect the characters you feel as if its happing to you. I havent read books so good in a long time. This is absoultly worth buying. In fact i plan on rereading the books again. I was absoultly thrilled with the set.

I decided to treat myself for my birthday and actually get what I want for a change. I love this box set!! I never had the chance to read books 1 thru 4 and now I can journey thru the beginning to the end at my leisure. It arrived on time and in great condition. I received the day after my birthday and haven't stop reading since. I'm already up to book 6 and only got the box set 3 weeks ago. I highly recommend the paperback set oppose to the hardcover because its easier to carry around and doesn't feel like a brick in your bag!

Rowling is a very good writer who has tapped the imagination (and wallets to the tune of over a billion something of the other) of the world. I cannot add anything more other than that these are the third copies of the books that I am getting to read to my kids.

Six books of Harry Potter. My six year old daughter and I are reading our way through them at bedtime. If you're a collector this isn't the edition for you ... we dog-ear the pages, bend the binding, use them as coasters ... but most of all, the fantasy of Harry Potter unscrolls in our imaginations.

Well, I purchased these a couple of months ago. Nothing seems missing or visibly wrong with the books. The binding on the bigger books cracks easily, but that is understandable. I don't like the box they came with; it is really cheesy. I would recommend this set to others, but if you plan on keeping them in mint condition, don't read the bigger ones.
