Nearly half way thru Harmonic Wealth by James Arthur Ray and believe this is an amazing value for money book. THe information is easy to access and understand and the style of writing is quite logical. When you use the internet support materials with the book the value increases dramatically. Ray has simplified the whole Secret thing to a more practical level making it very user friendly and obvious. Could be my self-help book of the year!

Excellent book! I'm purchasing more for family and friends. James Ray is able to get the message across in a way that will make you really want to be 'all that'!! As an author and speaker, James never disappoints.

James Ray has taken the ideas behind The Secret and fleshed out the many dozens of little steps one must take to achieve the life you are dreaming of. Sharing his own life's story was especially helpful because it's not hard to look at the photo of him on the cover and think, oh you are a handsome white guy, who looks wealthy, no wonder you are successful. But, his background and how he came to see the things he sees, and how he put these things into practice, and what he does right now, gives power to his advice. His suggestions resonate with common sense and, at the same time, they are freshly explained in cutting edge ways. Most of all, he talks about discipline, sacrifice, hard work and focus. Qualities that all of us here in America often seem to lack. We are a fast food nation, acting like toddlers who want what we want right now already! But, he liberally sprinkles all his down to earth advice with bits and pieces of inspiring cheerleading. I feel how much he cares about people and making the world a better place. I am on my second read and have turned down the corners of LOTS of pages, and have underlined, in pen, lots of juicy suggestions. For instance, it takes 21 days for a new habit to sink in and, he advises writing your intention on a little card and listing the 6 things you need to do next to make your dreams come true, and to focus on the top priority and not stop until you are finished, then go to the next item on the list. The effects of this book are sinking ever deeper into my psyche and I feel I am being charged like a battery, getting ready to bloom into my full potential, now.

There are many books out there on the Law of Attraction but Mr. Ray does a good job presenting the material. The book is an easy read and he presents the 5 pillars and shows you how to overcome your fears and live the life you desire. My favorite book on the Law of Attraction is a workbook that presents recipes (exercises) to do the same, Living The Secret Everyday: My Secret Workbook

James Arthur Ray has written one of the best books on success on the market. His book covers areas of your life you must master to truly be wealthy and be a success. I have spent the last 20 years of my life studying these areas and agree with his recommendations. He believes that you must have harmony in your finances, relationships,and spiritual life; and be mentally healthy and take care of your physical body. I agree with the author that balance is not the answer, there will be seasons in your life where you will have to work very hard in your job for the sake of your finances, and times you will have to focus on one area of your life that needs it. But you will not be truly wealthy if you are a multi-millionaire who loses your health, and you will not have a great marriage if you do not take care of the finances by earning a living and have a place to live and food to eat.
The author goes deeply into each area using the spiritual teachings of Jesus and Buddha, recent scientific discoveries in quantum physics, and his own experiences of success and failure. James Ray is a big proponent of the law of attraction and that our life is our own creation on a conscious and unconscious level. Paying the price to get what we want is the key. Everything we want has a price tag of effort and we can have what we desire if we will pay the price. Life is a mental game and our thoughts, feelings, and actions will determine what enters our life. I can not do justice to the book in this short review, if you are looking for a book that could change your life, buy this one, keep an open mind when you read it, carefully make notes and highlights as you go. Truly follow its teachings and your life will change. A similiar book changed my life 20 years ago and I have achieved more than I believed possible in my life from very humble beginnings using many of the same principles. This book helped me go to the next level in my life.

I loved the fact that I got so many extras with the book which gets you even more motivated.I have found it extemely helpfull and it continues to help me move forward.

Felt like I was reading an autobiography for the first third of the book. After that it got to some relevant points on personal development; but didn't feel anything new was covered; author just had a different spin on what other authors have written previously.

Felt Jack Canfields books are much more down to earth and can be practically applied.

Was disappointed Canfield gave the book such a raving endorsement as I periodically reread his books. This one not be reread and will be donated . . . soon.

This book does indeed give a step-by-step approach the becoming wealthy. However, there is more to wealth than just money. He elaborates on all of the parts of wealth, and how to do it.

This book is a must have for anyone who is interested in learning the true secrets to acquiring wealth, love happiness and whatever else they want to create in their life. I have read all of James Ray's books, and this is his best work yet, in my opinion. He provides an in-depth look into quantum physics and explains how to use those principles in everyday life, and how to make them work for you in the physical world to attract whatever you want... A great book!

In my lifetime of 45 years I've read alot of health, wealth & spirutality books. I have to say, this is one of the better ones. A can't put it downer, until it's finished. I really learnt alot from this book. It's right up there with Think & Grow Rich and that is saying alot about the quality of the book.

A book on the Law of Attraction (The Secret) that inspires you to overcome your fears and go for it. He talks of the 5 pillars which we are all looking for. He goes beyond The Secret just like another one of my favorite books, Living The Secret Everyday: My Secret Workbook where both these books pick up where The Secret leaves off with not only information but application.

This is a dynamic book to clearly point people in the right direction who desire personal success. James Ray uses his personal life as well as his knowlegde to be a 'teacher' to us all! Great read!

This book provides a great pep-talk and can get anyone envisioning and pursuing their own dreams. It covers personal wealth in both financial terms as well as the other (often ignored) important facets of one's life. The drawback? Although I agree that anyone can achieve anything and become their personal best, the entire audiobook is tinged with a materialism that makes my skin crawl. Yes, you can be as great as James Arthur Ray by owning a house in Hawaii, one in California, and drive a "high performance vehicle" like a Porsche, but don't you want more in your spiritual teacher than product worship? You can definitely use this book as a tool to achieve anything you want. I see nothing wrong with owning or being anything you want, but not when the "stuff" overtakes individual identity. Tread lightly so as not to embrace the unconscious Egoism laced with heavy materialism found throughout the book, but use it to DREAM BIG DREAMS.

I saw James Ray in The Secret amongst many other speakers and writers. My dad sent me this book because he knew that I was done reading "self help" titles. Reluctantly I read this book.

It's not an easy read. I'm generally a fast reader but it took me several weeks to finish this book. I'm not sure why. His style of writing flows well and he's very personable. It just wasn't very engaging, I guess.

I noticed that some of his stuff has been borrowed from Stuart Wilde and others. There's nothing wrong with that. He tries to put things into context with an exact method of using his "system" to make things happen for you. It seems to fall short and I'm not sure how. It's missing something.

The thing I like most about James Ray is that he's business oriented. Many other self help gurus talk about visualizing and talk very little (if at all) about doing something to generate what you want in your life. Like Stuart Wilde says, "The universe can't mail you a check from the clouds." You have to DO SOMETHING to make your life happen.

I think James' attempt was honest. I like his honesty in everything. I like his attempt at helping others. I just feel that there is something missing still. I don't know what it is. It may just be something within myself. Who knows?

What I do like about his book is, unlike Joe Vitale, James Ray doesn't sell anything in his book. Lately all Joe Vitale does is sell stuff and doesn't really have anything of substance to say. James Ray is completely opposite in that he gives his heart and soul into his material and doesn't ask for a penny for some other course, seminar, or ebook. Those are the types of people I seek out to see what other stuff they have I can buy because their book is all substance and no sales pitch...it makes me want to know about more of their other products and how I can get them.

I am going to read this book again and hopefully, with more focus, I can find that missing piece.

I do recommend this book. Again, I stopped reading self help titles altogether because I got sick of the same rehashed crap that doesn't help anyone do anything (except make the authors wealthy). Some of James' concepts are new and others are a new twist on the old.

My thoughts: Each person needs to find his or her own way through different material out there. What may work for someone may not even get close to cutting it for another. I think this book is at least worth reading to see if it can do something to help better your life.

This book was written with clarity and I like the fact that there is no beating about the bush. James is direct and straight to the point, it is written with honesty and straight from the heart.This book will allow you to reaffirm some heart-felt truths that you already know and currently suppress or deny. It will cause you to re-assess what is working in your life and what is not. You will happily dump what isn't and move onto living at a newer clearer level.

If you're looking for a good framework for life so that you can straddle the two boats of self knowledge and worldly success, well then, this is the book for you. Chock full of information, from classical determinism in physics to quantum strings and M-theory, to shamanism, acupuncture and massage, you name it, this book has it. But putting all the many pieces together, doesn't just make a picture, it's a tapestry or a collage at best. And honestly, this book makes a very nice collage, driving home quite a few sound home truths with the practised skill of a surgeon's knife.

This book has been written to help the average citizen of any country live a better life. To help him/her consolidate his/her material goals, while simultaneously learning of the existence of other horizons, and perhaps, even aspiring to attain them. It has been written with the express purpose of driving this person out of the stupor of a bland and changeless existence and to get their lives going, around their problems, through other channels. And also as a helping hand to those suppurating in the dungeons of Giant Despair, showing them, how, despite their desolation, succour is at hand, and telling them not to lose hope.

This is a great book to find out for yourself, where you are faltering in your life, if you seek the innate resilience that the balance and harmony of good spiritual, mental, emotional, physical and financial health can provide. In this sense, it is a good outside in approach to spirituality. What it is not, is an inside out approach to spirituality, an approach that is anchored in the self, an approach that shows the way to worldly success as a natural consequence of a certain set of principles to live by. It is not, in other words, a Bible of sorts, though it certainly could be regarded as an encyclopedia, a cornucopia, filled with interesting and relevant information, anecdotes (including personal anecdotes) and resources, put together with great dexterity, and exhorting the reader to share in his growth.

I haven't finished the this masterpiece yet, but the 90+ pages I have read so far have been so incredibly informative and inspirational, hollers at me: "anyone who doesn't buy (or otherwise acquire) this book must be crazy".

Well written, to the point with no B.S. While reading Harmonic Wealth, I felt as if James was sitting next to me. Its put in such a perspective, you find yourself having many 'A-Ha' moments. This is a must read if you want to cut through all of the 'fluff' found in other books. A practical piece of work by James Arthur Ray. He's in your face, giving you a wake-up call, but with a friendly pat on the back and a nudge to challenge you to move forward in your life. There is nothing better than reading a book in which you can feel the absolute passion of the author. I will definitely recommend this book.

James Ray's book makes clear what many others have been teaching for many years. His direct approach brings the right blend of thoughts, action and work together to teach and inspire nearly everyone. Although the message itself is not new, particularly with the flooding of the media since the release of the video "The Secret," James' straightforward way of directing all the aspects of one's life toward a harmonic, well-rounded understanding of wealth is fresh, insightful and uplifting. He pulls no punches and holds nothing back. The reader will get the straight dope on what must be done to realize his or her high potential of happiness, health and well-being.

I found the book to be clear, direct and inspiring for those who reasonate with the author's conceptual model. The book also helped me to begin thinking in new ways about attracting the life I want.

James Arthur Ray is amazing! This audio book leads you through a new way of thinking without forcing anyone else's point of view on you. I found it to be extremely motivational. It is read by the auther, who is clearly energized and insiring...it is not drab and boring to listen to...very down to earth. A good portion of the material focuses on weath, however there are eight other pillars that are also discussed, including yourself, relationships, your view on spirituality, and education. Simple exercises are provided - mostly encouraging you to write down some of your desires and/or they are used for clarification purposes - nothing complicated or too time consuming. This is not just another book about writing down goals. Truly eye opeing in a very simplistic, yet powerful way. Highly recommended for anyone who is ready to take that next step in life.

Great book. I like James Ray's style. He's direct and not too "foo-foo". It's definitely on the re-read list.

Mr. Ray lays out many of the keys to creating in this universe what you want to have by learning to work the "matrix" or zero point universe without getting unbalanced on either one. Great stuff!

I red the book once , but because it's so interessant and because I'm dutch I will read him a second time.
Sometimes it's really not that easy to understand for me because I'm from Belgian and the book is typicle for American readers.But I understand the most.
It would be great if a book like that should exsist for Europeans.
The style where the book is written on is really good and I should recomend it for everyone to read this book. It's a shame not everyone has such a belief in this stuff. ( maybe these people lost there faith in life or don't love themselves)

This book was all I exspected and more! I have the DVD Paralell Universes. The book takes you right to the "HOW TO". It is step by step and so easy to understand. James Ray has really written a master piece! I can hear his voice on every page! He makes you look at yourself and your life in ways you have not done so before. I read the book once. Harmonic Wealth, finally has put topics in terms everyone can comprehend.

Some of the stuff wrote was from the book "The Secret" but what was great is that it got explained. I thoroughly enjoyed Rich Dad/Poor Dad, but it was never followed up with "how too", James Ray does it in Harmonic Wealth. Very easy read and with the online tools that you can use makes this book top Notch

The book takes you step by step thru the discovery of your own position in life,learning of the tools and implementation of them in your daily life. It's a book by an average Joe( or James, I should say) for the avearge Joe.
He brings abstract concepts like Quantum Physics and the creation of matter and our ability to affect them both into easy understanding with parables based in the modern world!

This book is a gem. I have never dog earned so many pages or highlighted so many passages in a book before. The author has provided practical advice on how to live life with a holistic approach, while taking responsibility for our own outcomes. I can hardly wait to see where this journey will take me!

So far one of the best books I have read on personal growth. He combines his knowledge of the ancient mystics along with quantum physics to explain how we are born to be wealthy. He also gives very practical methods on changing your current situation to be in line with your personal goals and desires. Again Outstanding. James Arthur Ray has to be one of the best life changing speakers and teachers in our current existence.

I've been waiting for this book for months now and I have to admit I was one of the first in line to buy it here. But when I got it, I didn't realize what I was in for. I have been learning from James Ray for a while now (although I intentionally avoided The Secret) and I assumed this would simply be a summarization of what he's taught for so long. Boy, was I surprised! It's all that and A TON MORE! James takes the time to fully explore the quantum physics aspect of what he teaches, far more than he ever had time for on Larry King or Oprah. And much more than I expected...but it's easy enough for most people to 'get it' on the first go. I wanted a deeper comprehension so I'm taking even more time to chew on this material and really digest it. And DO THE EXERCISES!

All in all, money very well invested.

The book is revealing and insightful. The principals seem to be a page out of Lead the Field by Mr. Earl Nightengale, only they offer reasons why it works. This is of key importance if you do not know why somthing works you are less likely to explore and test the idea.

This is a wonderful book - truly, a concise road map to life.

I've been studying personal growth books and ideas for years but there are truly some major ah-ha's here that I never heard or before. I'm in the process of incorporating these principles into my life even as I type.
