As a grandmother, tricked out pickup trucks, aliens and zombies are not usually the subject matter of books I tend to read. Intrigued by the title, Fried Green Zombies, I had to see if the author could turn this eclectic combination of characters into a believable, readable story. The answer is a resounding, "Yes, he can!"

From the very first paragraph I was drawn into the lives of the quirky cast of characters and their experiences and had to keep turning the pages until, sadly, there were no more to turn. Now, I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel.

I would not hesitate to recommend this book to adults of all ages who love a fast-paced, well written story with lots of laughs.

Fried Green Zombies is a very entertaining read - it follows the (mis)adventures of a pair of slackers and their nerdish friend. And a mysterious 6ft woman who wears a black cloak...

It involves zombies, mysterious trucks, UFOs and a less-than-honest sheriff. Well written, with great humour, it'll appeal to all fans of subtle, dark humour and sci-fi/zombie fans. Well worth a read - really looking forward to the author's next book.
