The book is very informative but is also outdated as eBay has changed so much since the book was published four years ago. Definitely has the inspiration to get you fired up and go!

A well written book that proves quite basic in most aspects for someone with even short eBay experience. Quite a few good hints and tips but found that it contains a lot of basic eBay information that does not, in my opinion, belong in a book about power seller secrets, which basically denotes that you are past basic eBay experience, past seller, and even past power seller as you'll be learning secrets for power sellers.
I expected to be taught more as a power seller, and a new one at that. It left me a bit short of my expectations.

Don't buy this book unless you already have extensive ebay experience.

While I'm biased - Brad and Debra Schepp contribute articles to AuctionBytes - there's a reason I ask them to write for me. The two have immersed themselves in the eBay selling world and know their stuff. They talk to PowerSellers face-to-face at conferences as well as communicating with them online, and that gives them keen insight into seller concerns and challenges. Brad and Debra are great writers, and the 2nd Edition of eBay PowerSeller Secrets is a worthwhile investment for online sellers.

Best, best book about Ebay!

In my opinion this is by far the absolute best book I have ever read which is most helpful for selling on Ebay. The book was a gift from my Business Partner because she said that it was a have-to-have and a must read. She was so right and I am so glad that she bought this book for me. It contains a wealth of case studies, which draw on the knowledge and experience of many talented Powersellers. I have learned so much and feel much more comfortable now on my way to becoming a Powerseller. If you either plan on selling only a few things occasionally or wish to make it a career as a Powerseller, this book appeals to a variety of sellers. Every detail is covered from beginning to end and all the ins and outs are clearly explained. This book was straightforward and is advanced, in a very easy to understand and read. Truly recommend this book 150%.

eBay Powerseller Secrets: Insider Tips from eBay's Most Successful Sellers

This is by far the best and most informative Ebay Book out there. It is extremely easy to read and I finished it in one day. I could not put this book down for one second. It is a fast-reading book and tells you everything that you need to know about being a responsible and successful Ebay Seller.

I am the type of person who usually likes to figure things out for myself. After finding this book, I realized that it is not necessary to spend so much time trying to find my way around by myself. I originally started auctioning on eBay in 1999 and continued for a few years. Now I am back to resume my online auction business again and since there are so many changes to eBay that I thought it would take me 2 months to really figure out how to get around again.

The eBay Power Seller secret book saved me so much time. The book is so organized and runs through every topic and highlights all of the important information from the beginning to the end. There are also many helpful links and resources for any area that I may need additional information.

I was going to pass this book along to my Business Partner, but no way am I letting this book out of my office. It is staying right on my desk so that I can use it for reference. I already purchased another copy for my Business Partner which she will be reading this weekend.

I thought this book was great! Until last month I had only been a buyer on eBay and now I also sell there. I think this book is very helpful to the newbies. It will help me avoid the mistakes of those that have gone before me. It is easy to read, well written, and I like the fact that they have REAL people with REAL stories.

Before I opened the cover of eBay Power Seller secrets, I didn't know that I needed, or wanted, to know all this stuff, but now, I am amazed at all the information that I would never have been exposed to through the forums or the FAQs or even networking. I really like the chapter that covers buying wholesale and what to look for and look out for.

I am sure this book will become the stardard that everyone else who follow's or at the very least the guy that shipped the package pictured on page 288! That is a great example of what not to do if you want to stay in this business.

I highly recommend this book. It will help you save money you didn't even know you were going to lose!

Well, Brad and Deb did it again. They created a book that I have already read twice.

Where is the best place to research information about selling online? The authors have used actual Power Sellers, with a wealth of information on selling online. What else could you ask for?

What I think makes this book so special is that all the ideas in the book are possible. It does not seem out of reach for anyone. For us more experienced sellers, this book serves to not only remind me of important aspects of e-commerce, but it also still taught me a few techniques that right away has made me thousands.

As an eBay consultant I remind my clients that I keep 3 books on my desk: How To Win Friends and Influence People, The Art of War, and eBay Power seller Secrets.

The authors, Brad and Deb Schepp, don't pretend to have come up with the information in their book all by themselves. Instead, they start by thanking all of the many, many Powersellers and other professionals who contributed to the book. Many are among the top 100 sellers on eBay and members of PeSA, the Professional eBay Sellers Alliance, or the Internet Merchants Association. Brad and Deb have all the right connections :-)

This book is great for beginners all the way up to advanced sellers. As the 2nd edition, it's been revised, and is the most current and up-to-date eBay book on the market. Here are some reasons why I'm such a fan:

·It's packed with information you can put to use immediately. The tips and secrets from experienced sellers are very real, and obviously work in their day-to-day operations. Sit down with the book and have a pad of post-it-notes handy because you are going to want to bookmark lots of sections to revisit.

·Each chapter profiles a Powerseller with a successful eBay businesses, which is very motivating.


·The format of the book is unique, in that each secret is clearly marked. You get the good and the bad points about eBay selling.


·The writing is entertaining and easy to read. The authors are effective and concise, no fluff in this book at all. It's hard to put down!


Brad and Deb's book encouraged me to create my own About Me page and helped me develop procedures that I use today. (Now I not only sell on eBay, but I have my own website as well.) They are solid, no bull writers who practice what they preach. I'm sure if they wanted to, with all the information they have gathered, they could be one of the top ten sellers on eBay. But you can definitely tell when reading their books that their passion is writing about eBay and technology.

I've read some questionable eBay books and can honestly say this is the best one out there. That's why it's #1 on the book list on my About Me page. Now that we have employees, this book has become our company training manual--it's the ultimate training reference for eBay and beyond.
