PRICING IS NOT UP TO DATE ON MANY FIREARMS IN TODAYS CURRENT MARKET PLACE. I PREFER THE 2010 STANDARD CATALOG OF FIREARMS AND THE PICTURES IN IT ARE VERY HELPFUL.

THIS BOOK IS VERY INFORMATIVE.....EVERYONE WHO ENJOYS SHOOTING AND FINE GUNS SHOULD OWN THIS BOOK !!!!!!!!!

The book was delivered in a timely manner; my husband refers to it every day and was VERY eager to add the book to his library of collectible reference books. He says it's an excellent reference book for anyone researching value of guns.

This book is great for anybody in collecting guns or just to review the value of guns. I have found it to be very useful in checking prices before I purchase any older gun. I collect certain guns and it has helped a lot. I highly reccomend it.

This isn't a picture book. It is a book to give you the approximate values of your guns or the guns you want to buy. It will be going with me when I go to the gun show this coming weekend. It will be very helpful when looking for a gun that you don't know much about.

This book is a tool that is indispensible for anyone who is buying or selling guns in any amount. Although some of its descriptions are difficult to match, it is the most comprehensive list of gun prices available.

I use the book and find it quite detailed. It is a great tool for pricing and determining the myriad details about guns.
The problem for me is that the individual guns of interest are a bit hard to track down with the listing system utilized in the book.
It is certainly worth having and keeping.

I am a gun dealer by trade and this is just a must have.. Some of the pricing is way off but 99% is just about right.. Now if people can understand that there beat up old mossberg shotgun is not worth 100 value we will be good to go..lol There needs to be mor ein the front of the book that tells how to rate a gun...

Delivery was earlier than expected and packaging was excellent. I had long been looking for a book that lists prices that private sellers (and buyers) could expect. This 2,272 page book is incredible!! Even the most obscure firearms were listed alphabetically by Manufacturers' Name. There is also an excellent grading section titled "Firearms Grading Made Easy". This is the "standard" book on gun values. There is none better. I recommend it.

This is probably my fifth or sixth copy of the Blue Book of Gun Values. It is an excellent reference for gun values and some gun history.
The book is an absolute must for those that collect, trade, or sell guns.

For what I do, this book is the Holy Grail, Its awesome and informative. If you're a collector, in the firearm sports or just want some of the best knowledge out there on firearm pricing, its a must have.

This book is one of the best available to obtain current gun value, as well as indepth information on all of the models produced. JFR

A powerful survey, recommended as a basic reference for any library strong in either collectibles in general or firearms in particular.

I recently hired a gun "expert" to come out and appraise some guns that were in my late brother's gun collection, and which his widow asked me to sell. I noticed the book he was using was titled .... "Blue Book"....; so in order to save $ I decided I could look in a book as well as he. This book has been a big help & $ values are very similar to his. The only negative is his book had pictures that made guns easier to identify, and this book doesn't; however, with model nos. it is no big deal. This book is pretty thorough, but there are a few rare guns where the book value can be thrown out the window, because you can get much more. But overall, I would recommend this book.

I am a gun owner and i buy and sell them at times. this book is great for finding the values of the guns I am buying or selling so that i don't get screwed. i buy one about every other year. great book

The Bluebook of Gun Values Volume 30 is an excellent addition to any gun collector or enthusiast. The updated information is good as well.

I purchased this book for my brother for his birthday. He said (as I was aware of) this book is exceptional and the go-to guide for gun buyers & sellers. The only problem is that since President Bush has left office gun sales have skyrocketed causing prices to drastically increase above even the most updated listings. Otherwise,this is an outstanding source of information.

Blue Book has done a good job of keeping up with new firearms. I find it a great resource book.

No other book on weapons compares to this yearly book. It is the Bible that all dealers, collectors etc use to establish fair values.

This is THE reference for gun values. It's really useful to give you an idea of the value of your collection.

Keep in mind that, instead of buying the book, you can subscribe on-line at [...] and get updates, more pictures, and a searchable database. If you do a lot of trading, that may be the way to go.

The Blue Book is not perfect, but it`s the best single volume reference guide you can find. It doesn`t cover fine points, minor variations, or have many pictures, but if it did it would have to be about 40 volumes instead of one.
For detailed info you have to go for books dedicated to single manufacturer such as Colt, S&W, Winchester, ect.
But for a general reference and price guide this book simply can`t be beat.
Please take note that as with any price guide on anything (especially collector items) the prices given are ballpark figures. Real world prices will vary depending on a large number of factors. As a general rule the prices given on older guns is somewhat optimistic and prices given on some of the newer stuff is often on the low side.

As a Gun Dealer (Firearms of America) this is an essential tool in valuing guns. As a gun owner it's an invaluable tool to value my personal collection and very useful in purchasing previously owned guns, especially at Gun Shows. This a great tool for every gun owner.

Blue Book of Gun Values is great. My husband has been able to find all of the fire arms that he owns in the book and now knows what the value of them are. It is a great help as some of his guns are quite old. I would highly recommend this book.
