Talk about health issues, and remedies---wow---I now have diabetes type2 and this books tells me what 7 supplemnets I need to combat/cure this dis-ease in my body!

I loved the fact he told a bit of history about why he entitled is book "A Promise Made, A Promise Kept" his
momma would have been sooo proud of this book now!!!

This will definitely be a "keeper" on my book shelf, and
I feel it's one of the best "natural remedies" resources
you could get and a very affordable price! if there there 10 stars, this book would get it!!!! It's even got pages of a questionaire to health issues in it---my gosh--it's sooo thorough it's unbelievable--what research this man did and what "great finds" he uncovered and how many people this man has helped over the yrs---it would be awesome to meet this author, for sure! I met Dr. Jim 5 years ago, and he touched my life. The knowledge this man knows about healing is unbelievable. His methods work wonders....saved me a few times, and this book is unbelievable, I would highly recommend it!!

I myself could not put the book down. Of the many books I have read on natural healing his was among the most accessable and through. Please do not let his writing style interfere with your ability to draw upon these tools for natural healing. He outlines in a clear and simple manner what one needs to do to heal. As an intelligent individual, with a keen interest in Science, I must sincerely question the credibility of a "scientist" who claims that writing words on a bottle or saying a prayer changes the molecular structure of water. The ONLY thing that can do so is temperature, suggesting that the temperature had changed during the time the before and after photos were taken, and that's not proof of anything. But, there's more.

The photos aren't of *A* molecule. They are of an ice crystal, in it's varying forms, which is a collection of molecules. If he doesn't know what a molecule looks like then how can he be trusted with something as important as health??
But there's more.

As a graphic artist, I can safely say that some choice photos have been also tampered with, either severely magnified or blurred.

Anyway, if you don't believe me you can do the test at home with a cheap microscope and a bottle of water. You'll see what an ice crystal looks like in it's varying stages and that it looks the same no matter what you write on or how you pray over the bottle.

Out of the water bit -

There is a disclaimer stating that he is not speaking of disease, but "dis-ease", which is a lack of ease & harmony. This means he hasn't cured anything, and what's worse, he knows it so well, he puts this on the bottom of EVERY page so anyone who doesn't get better (or worse) can't sue him.

In closing, in the front of the book, he admits that he is a salesperson, and throughout the book he suggests products which I fancy he sells. Looking at his 4 "degrees", only 1 of them are legitimate - and Chiropractic Medicine (a 3 year course) qualifies him neither to diagnose nor treat such serious diseases as Diabetes, Cancer, and the like. He has some good nutrition advice, but that can easily be found through any Nutritionist elsewhere, and that is the *only* thing in this book that may help you feel better, but it would be in spite of, not because of him.

He is the modern day mummy dust salesman to a T.

My husband purchased this book after watching a TV commercial advertising Dr. Chappell's book. As a nurse, I found his information quite reliable, and resourceful. My husband is a Type 2 diabetic and has been using Dr. Chapell's Glucosulin pills now for 3 weeks with remarkable results. He was recently hospitalized for internal hemorroidal bleedings (not due to these pilLs) and has realized that Dr. Chapell's pills are working for him. A lot of the information in the book, we've been using i.e. cinnamon, colon enema, etc. prior to reading this book. I highly recommend it. I often use this book as a reference material to what types of herbs are best for my ailments.

Much of the first part of the book talks about his mother. He quotes people who according to him talked to god pre-birth, used effective prayer to reshape crystals, thinks the government is conspiring against him, criticizes the main-stream medical community and then uses the main-stream medical community to "prove" his claims, etc. What has any of this to do with curing diabetes ?

When I finally got to the section that deals specifically with diabetes, pages 283 thru 294, 7 ingredients were mentioned with no mention of appropriate dosages, except for chromium picolinate (400 mcg daily).

Do yourself a favor, do not buy this book.

This is a very interesting book. There is no doubt the author has done his research. It not only covers the cure for diabetes but touches on all disease. I have purchased 6 additional copies after reading it and sent them to all my family members that are diabetic. I gave my copy to a neighbor who is also diabetic. He started several of the suggestions and in a matter of two weeks his sugar levels are much better. If I could afford it I would buy copies for the entire neighborhood.
