John Le Carre is a very good observer of human behaviour. He has to. And his characters jump live from the pages and get into your life. That's how real they are.
This is a sad story of our times, in which he tells about suffering and gets inside the terrorist mind. He does not show gory details, ther is no blood spilling from the pages, he only hints of it. He also hints of the very real confrontation between western civilization and the islamic world presently being fought in Europe, and that many of us apparently choose not to acknowledge. I recomend this to John Le Carre's fans and all fans of secret services and terrorism stories. (Review Data Last Updated: 2009-10-11 08:55:05 EST)
