Reviewer Permalink
I am a Planner - I plan every second of my day. Not knowing what to expect or plan for in pregnancy really freaked me out. I love this Organizer and carry it with me everywhere I go. My nurses have all been impressed with how many details I have in it. I have used for the last seven months and I love it. I am buying three more copies today to give to my girlfriends who are pregnant.

I don't typically use a planner, but the idea of keeping all this new baby information straight felt daunting! I bought this for a planner and didn't realize all the helpful information it contained! Great lists of questions for potential doctors, lists of items you need for the baby, questions for daycare providers, etc. I love that I can organize all the phone numbers of doctors, appointments, etc in one place. Plus it will be a nice keepsake for me to look back on for planning for our first baby!

Good! Although, it was a pain to maintain an extra calander--probably I would not have bought this except it was a first baby.

There is something for everyone in this organizer. Great way to keep up expecially when its getting harder to remember all the little details. A must for every pregnant mom who likes to be organized.

(Hide Review...)  Decent, not great
Reviewer Permalink
I consider myself to be a fairly organized and detail-oriented individual; however, I found this guide to be more overwhelming than helpful. It contains extremely detailed and lengthy interviews to conduct with everyone from your OB to a potential nanny or babysitter. There are lists upon lists of items to register for and/or purchase. It is just more information than I personally need. If you want to control every last detail of your entire pregnancy and birth, I'm sure this organizer will help you feel like you are doing that, but be careful that you don't set yourself up for disappointment. Everything rarely goes exactly as planned and being a little more flexible and a little less organized might be a good thing.

I kept track of everything in this organizer, from OB appointments (including all information on what was covered in the appointment) to important dates on the calendar to contractions to diaper checks to gift lists to items to purchase. It had handy spots to put my ultrasound printouts and a pocket in back for keepsake documents. I am a first time mother and I'm still using it often with the baby over a month old now.

My OB saw it and loved it - she said it's the best she's seen! I'd recommend this for any first-timer.

(Hide Review...)  Great Organizer
Reviewer Permalink
This is a great organizer. It contains a lot of information. This helps me stay organized with things I have to do like appointments, calling my insurance company, etc. Also, a great check list month by month, its really reminded me to do somethings I intended to do and gave me ideas aboutt hings I hadn't thought of at all. An earlier reviewer complained that there was too much information, just don't use the pages you don't want to use. It really is that simple.

This isn't a journal, its an organizer so don't expect lots of pages to write about your feelings and dreams for baby.

I just got this organizer a few weeks ago and I've been lovin' it. It's been very useful for keeping all the preparations together in one place. The timeline and shopping list have both been especially helpful. Great find.

(Hide Review...)  Too much information, for the hyper-organized only
Reviewer Permalink
I "used" this book for one day...there is simply too much to fill-out that really doesn't make pregnancy/labor/delivery any more helpful. The only thing I might use (if anything at all) is the hospital checklist (but there's probably one in my other books anyway). If you like tracking every minute detail of your pregnancy and delivery in yet another place, then consider this book. Otherwise, buy a real journal instead.

(Hide Review...)  The What to Expect When You are Expecting Organizer is a Better Deal
Reviewer Permalink
This is a SKINNY book to cost 19.95. The calendar is SMALL, the space available for each day is a little over an inch square. The tabs are a pain to flip past, and because there isn't enough material in between them I don't know why they are even there! I bought "What to Expect When You are Expecting" for my first pregnancy and loved it. I've placed another order for that one and packed this book away. I think this book was a ripoff with a pretty cover. SHOP AROUND...

Reviewer Permalink
I was very pleased with this organizer. It's not a lot of fun but its very practical. There is room for a few pictures and a couple of pages about your cravings and reactions, which were fun. Maybe a few too many pages on things like OB, midwife, daycare and nanny interviews. But, if your looking for something that covers all your bases this is a great organizer, it really made me feel....put together and organized!

Reviewer Permalink
This book has been a life-saver. Being one who is highly dependent on my palm pilot to know where I'm supposed to be and when, this has been the perfect addition to balance this new priority in an already very busy life. The checklists are fabulous--I'm finding they coincide with the advice I've receive from my "mom friends." The most surprising and most helpful advice I received from a friend was to make sure we were stocked up on household stuff like toilet paper around our due date, and then I was amazed that this organizer even has that listed. And the pocket in the back has been great to keep important stuff like ultrasound photos during the trek home. It's been a great resource to have, especially when my hubby wants to know something like dr appts or directions to the different clinics without having to ask me. And since arguments where I expect him to read my mind are ashamedly common, I expect it will come in handy for the big day to keep him informed of what I've already planned out.

Reviewer Permalink
I really liked this planner a lot while I was pregant. There were somethings I didn't use and a lot of thing that I did. Sometimes I wish there were more places just to jot notes down, that would have made it even better. I just realized that there is a follow up planner from birth to 12 months. My daughter is now 6 months, and I wish I'd gotten that planner too from the begining. (BTW, I wrote this under my husbands name, so I'm not a "techdude" :) )

I couldn't have asked for a better way to keep track of all this pregnancy stuff!! This is our first pregnancy and I have to say, I felt overwhelmed with stuff I was being told and read about. This organizer is the best thing!! Especially for first time parents. The only thing that I would have liked was a daily journal section to maybe document how I was feeling, what was taken care of, etc. BUT, that doesn't change my rating of this. I can get that journal elsewhere!!

Enjoy your purchase!!

This pregnancy organizer is one of the best that I've seen. It has a really great layout and lots of space if you're into interviewing ob's and pediatricians. Gives a calendar for 10 months. Lists questions you can ask your doctor, the peditrician, and your insurance company. I give this a 10 out of 10. THE BEST!!

Reviewer Permalink
I love this . . . it is very user friendly and has a sleek design w/o a belly or baby on it. I adore being Preggo but didn't need to look at a model's tummy or someone's baby for 40 weeks.

I also like that this item is spiral bond, so items I don't need (like interviewing your OB or Midwife - I had one that I love) I can just rip out. It is slim to hold, but longer than a regular paperbook, so it is akward in a purse (but would fit easliy in a laptop case, etc.) I keep it near my spot on the couch and fill in when I return or have something I think I may want to remember.

This is the 3rd one I have bought, I am very happy with it and glad I returned the others.

This organizer is good at reminding me all the tasks I need to accomplish prior to my baby's arrival. I also love the registry items list. This is my first time as a mom and I admit, I'm a bit clueless of all the things I need. This book helps me identify the most essential items that I will need.

This is a great pregnancy planner/ journal. This is my first baby and I find the different sections about important questions to ask everyone from your doctor, insurance company, pediatrician, childcare all very helpful for a first time mom. The areas to record info from your doctor visits is great, too. I also like the section about what you absolutely need for your new baby and the "extras". Good little planner and I definitely like that the cover is very neutral and mod looking-- not all frilly. I do wish there were pockets on the front and back inside covers, but it's still a great planner!!!

There is a ton of info you can record to organize now and even keep later as a momento. My only complaint: It has one clear page to store things. I wish it had flap pockets on the front and back cover or more than one clear page to store more items if you wish, such as sonogram pictures or other pictures. Otherwise, it is a fantastic organizer/planner!

I found this book to be a little formal for my needs. I also found it to have too much information. I ordered it and the Belly Book (which overall I liked better for recording the special moments of my pregnancy). This book is a great for the person who wants to record everything and the person who also needs/wants advice on everything. There are some sections of the book I will use but not all of it. The good thing is I can just eliminate what I do not want to use. Just be aware that it could be a little overwhelming. The best thing about this book is that it has a place for anything you might possibly want to record. You will not forget anything if you get this book. It has advice on pregnancy, labor, preparing for baby, bring baby home, and also has checklists for what to do by month during pregnancy.

Incidentally I did find the book to be difficult to flip through. The cover is stiff (but not a hardcover) and the page dividers make it difficult to find the page you are looking for.

Very thorough!!

I LOVE THIS ORGANIZER. Every new mommy should have it. I've used it to keep track of my pre-natal appointments as far as my weight, BP and fetal heart rate and questions I need to remember to ask and any suggestions from the OB. I used it for questions to ask the childcare provider, pediatrican, everyone..It's great. The pouch in the back I use to hold my birth plan and labor/delivery records. I love this organizer. It even has a checklist for what to pack for you and your labor coach. What to get for your nursery and a checklist for thank you notes. It's great!! I would advise any new mom to get this. It has helped me so so much. And it's cute and stylish...

This book has been such a great help in my pregnancy. I am 24 weeks along and I use this all the time. I like this organizer so much, I am ordering one for my friend who just announced she was expecting!

I was so excited to get this in the mail and flip through it. It is well organized and gives excellent information. I used it first to ask my midwife questions on our first appointment. They have included a list of questions for a midwife in the organizer!! I was surprised and so grateful because a midwife is a bit of an alternative choice. It is really nice to have a basic organizer as a first-time mommy and because my family lives half way across the country from me. It helps me see what I need to be thinking about and keeping it all in one place.

I really think if you or someone you know is a first time mom especially this is a must have!

This is an excellent gift for parents-to-be! I received it as a gift and used it every day of my pregnancy and during my newborn's first weeks at home. There are so many little details to keep track of during a pregnancy and this organizer really helped to put my mind at ease. It lays out a suggested timeline for preparing for a baby without being overwhelming. My husband also found it extremely helpful during my labor and it has become a nice little keepsake to look back on our pregnancy since there are pages to record details of pregnancy and baby's arrival.
