This is a great book for a more complex look at human anatomy. It covers the basic anatomy and goes to a deeper level on some systems.

A good start in my anatomy revision but I will now be looking for something better still, if such a thing is available.

Would certainly be of benefit to high school and new nursing students.

This children's easy learning technique applied to adults is a great way of learning the anatomy, even if you are in the middle of med school.
And coloring is so much fun. A must for children and adults.

This is a fine workbook to help learn human anatomy. Just enough text to explain everything and then pictures to color to re-enforce the lesson. My middle schoolers both learned the basics with this book.

Product was great.. shipped in time... Very informative book, would highly recommend it for people who wish to learn anatomy who are not officially in the medical field- perhaps even for those people going into the medical field- it does have a unique way of teaching "where all the parts are".

The Human Anatomy coloring book would be good to refresh ones memory, but as far as taking an Anatomy class and using it, for me it didn't go into as much detail that was required for my course. It doesen't have as much detail as I needed.

As a beginning overview of the human body, this was so helpful. I took my first health class and because I had read and colored in this book, I found it easier to remember and understand the parts and functions of the body.

This book is very easy to understand. Even if you're not going to color in it, it is a great reference book.

(Hide Review...)  It is okay for basic stuff

This book is okay for basic high school knowledge, but I wouldn't really recommend it for a college course. I am taking BIO 201 (Human Anatomy and Physiology), and the book wasn't in-depth enough for my course. There were not enough of the muscles and bones covered.

This book is good for younger children or people who just want a very basic overview of the human body. I bought it to help me study for my anatomy class, and this book did not provide nearly enough detail to be a good reference guide for me. If you;re taking a college level anatomy class, buy the more expensive coloring book!

This is a great Dover style coloring book. Anyone of any age can use it to review Human Anatomy. The generous copyright allows you to make 2 copies without permission. I am scanning the drawings and using them in a Powerpoint Presentation. Human anatomy is dull, and frankly our insides are kind of ugly. This sort of publication takes the formaldehyde smell
out learning anatomy. Kids could color, adults can use computer paint programs to add color. Once scanned the possiblities for using the drawings are endless.

Most of all, this book is low in price.
But, its quality is good enough for me.
If you begin to study human body, it will be a best choice.
Prepare crayons. It will be interesting thing, too.^^

I loved this coloring book resource for my anatomy/physiology class. It is easy to COLOR in and MAKES you REMEMBER the skeletal, muscular and nervous system relatively easier. I also studied "ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY STUDY GUIDE: Key review Questions and Answers with Explanations" written by Patrick Leonardi. This comes in 3 important volumes and has loads of college-test like questions which were extremely useful!!!!!!

All four of my children, ages 12-18 are using the _Human Anatomy Coloring Book_ this year as we study the human body. They are all enjoying this "lesson" and learning so much as they go along. My only regret is that I didn't buy one for myself.

Reviewer Permalink
Having completed the Matt/Ziemian book in addition to the 'Anatomy Coloring Book' by Kapit and Elson, I've found the former to be a first-rate introduction to the body systems and their components, and a valuable precursor to the latter. This book will ingrain a solid general understanding of the human body in you while sharpening your coloring skills, both of which come to aid in navigating the more comprehensive and complicated 'Anatomy Coloring Book.' The price is very reasonable. Highly recommended.
