I kept reading through Chapter 8 hoping this book would improve but it did not. I got the impression the author was male with a very low opinion of the female gender. The men in this book, although not leading roles were "father figure" types while all the female characters were "Brats." I had to finally put the book down after the girl fight scene involving every stereotypical "Girl Fight" adjective available. Please do not waste your money. I would ask for a refund if I could.

This series is a wonderful addition to my life. I have read each book with the same "can't put it down" enthusiasm. I actually feel these people are my family. Ms. Michaels, please do not stop writing the Sisterhood. Such an endearing story.

The Sisterhood is a series that fascinates the reader for its outrageous adventure. Judge Easter is in trouble, her career could be destroyed. Her friends return stateside to take on a power driven candidate for the head of the FBI.
When the Sisterhood hit DC to unexpected is the norm and our delight in their cause is the best in reading entertainment.
Along the way they recruit more members to their cause of justice outside the force of law. Great light summer reading when the basic element of fiction is to suspend belief.

I was so excited when Fern Michaels decided to stay on with the sister hood series. I have read eveyone of them, they are so hard to put down. Hide amd seek, was excellant, I am now reading Hokus Pokus. Those girls and Charles are really smart. Horray for them. I cannot wait for Fast Track to be on the market, I have already preorderd it. Thanks Fern Michaels, for the Sisterhood series. I will be sorry to see them go.

Fern Michaels always keeps the reader interested but this is not her best to date. I like her plots and the characters' development but she falls short on the endings lately. I think it would be better if we learned what she did to the objects of their revenge in the last chapter, rather than a side note in the Epilogue. I think she rushes to finish the book and leaves us wanting more details at the end. But I still enjoyed the book, despite the weak ending. I'll continue to follow the Sisterhood as long as Ms. Michaels writes about them.

Another in the "Sisterhood Series". Humans don't forget, ever, legal or other injustices life has offered. Fern offers, in print, solutions. Tho the sisterhoods capers are not a good idea in real life, we can dream, can't we?
This "Series" is great for the dreamer in all of us.

Another fun read from the Sisterhood. This is the beginning of the follow up series to the Sisterhood series. The sisters are now fugitives and located in a mountain hideaway. It takes some adjusting for everyone, being in such close quarters and adjusting to the loss of everything (and everyone) they had to leave behind. Before, Charles and Myra made the plans and the "Sisters" came for a visit but maintained their own lives. Now they are all in 100% of the time. Pesky reporters, Ted and Maggie are back too, as well as old favorites. Can't wait for the next one!

(Hide Review...)  INDOMITABLE WOMEN!
Reviewer Permalink
Fern Michaels never disappoints, especially with Hide and Seek, the latest of the Revenge of the Sisterhood series which includes women of all ages and from all walks of life becoming more than they ever thought they could be. This is what I love about her books. There are real men, good and bad, and heroes, both men and women. It is very hard to put down one of her books before you finish the last page, sometimes in the middle of the night. She inspires me to want to be one of those strong indomitable women! I must also recommend THE 3:00 PM SECRET: Live Slim and Strong, Live Your Dreams, which has made me strong and attractive again, so if one of those heroes comes along I will be ready.

fern micheals came through again in her latest installment of the sisterhood. hide and seek started out a little slow but quickly picked up speed and held your attention especilly when other people were involved who had helped them to "escape" and of course the sisters all came through with saving their accomplists and the innocent wife and daughter of the "assistant" fibbie director. can hardly wait for hockus pockus to be released to see how many of them continue espceially maggie and lizzie. i would recommend this book to my friends, my husband even reads the sisterhood series and he's as anxious as i am for the next installment of the series.

This is the best Fern Michaels series. This particular book was an all nighter, I just couldn't put it down and I want MORE NOW. In some ways I wish I had waited so I could read them all at once, but I didn't and it's been a wonderful read. The women in these books are my heroes. Fern hurry with the next one I'm waiting albeit not too patiently.

Books: Hide and Seek, is the last so far of the Sisterhood series books. I liked them all, and it is better to read in sequence. It is the type of story you don't want to put down for another day-I find myself reading these stories way into the night.
One can almost put themselves into the storyline. Hide and Seek is one of the best. A must read for anyone especially women who feel this revenge. I can hardly wait until April 08 when the next Revenge of the Sisterhood is published.

I had a great deal of trouble finishing this book. Usually I love her novels, but Hide and Seek seemed very stilted and contrived. There were no surprises and it didn't hold my interest. I had to stop and start reading it several times before finally finishing the book. The characters were one dimensional and not very engaging at all. I picked up this novel because I had read the others in this series (some I liked -some not so much) and was hoping the story had moved on - no such luck. The ladies hadn't evolved - it was DDSS - Different Day Same Story.

Fern Michaels' newest addition to the Sisterhood series opens with the girls taking it easy at an idyllic hideaway in Spain. Much to their delight, they are soon given another mission--they must sneak into the US to thwart Assistant Director of the FBI, Mitchell Riley from framing Judge Nellie Easter and Attorney Lizzie Fox. District Attorney, Jack Emery and karate expert and dogo owner, Harry Wong, are two new members of the Sisterhood--referred to as the "American Vigilantes". The brains of the organization, Charles Martin, has the group, in disguise, enter Washington DC, bent on exposing the corrupt and immoral Riley.
The vigilanties work their magic, through Charles' guidance, while Jack and Harry assist them. The men know they are being watched, but are able to complete their assignment, and knock the arrogant AD Riley on his figurative butt.
Ms. Michaels' "Sisterhood" series are written to stand alone, though after reading one, you will want to acquire them all. This page turner is suspenseful with a dose of romance and humor.

(Hide Review...)  Not the best in the series...

My sister introduced me to this series a couple of years ago, and I have found the books to be solid, entertaining reads for the beach or plane. Nothing too serious, just a guilty pleasure. However this one did not pull me in like the others, thus 3 stars instead of the typical 4. it reminded me of Vendetta (Revenge of the Sisterhood), another book in the series that lagged. If you're a fan you'll still want to read this books, if your new to the series start with Sweet Revenge (Revenge of the Sisterhood) or Lethal Justice (Revenge of the Sisterhood) before diving into this one. Oh yeah, if you like quirky thrillers you have to try A Tourist In The Yucatan!

The sisterhood in on a mission again and must leave Spain and "re-enter" the country and they need some disguises. Ms. Michaels immagination on how to dress the sisterhood is fantastic and the story is one of her best.
Once you start it you wont be able to put it down as things dont go exactly as planned and there are many changes that they have to make which they were not prepared for.

It is one of Ms. Michaels best and the only problem now is we have to wait paitently for the next.

A must on your hoiday list to give and get.
