I've read a lot of the Rich Dad books, and many others on realestate investing. This one was, by far, the best. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is investing in realestate. There are critical points in this book that should be followed before setting up a strategy for buying property.

Good book and information. But you will get spammed so I would recommend using a junk/throwaway address before you sign up for this person's personal newsletter/program.
Otherwise, it was worth buying and reading. You should be able to achieve your goals and target your objectives properly with this book. (Review Data Last Updated: 2006-09-12 06:44:41 EST)

The authors of this book touch on many subjects, giving very little detail in any of them. The legal and accounting loopholes are very basic - and they keep referring you to other products and sites they've written/published - making this book one big commercial. In one area, when talking about the benefits of real estate investment, the fail to even mention costs associated with using equity, cash flow, repairs, etc. I am a new entrant to real estate investing, and would not recommend this book to anyone. It is no different than the get rich quick schemes you see on tv/internet.

The concepts in the RichDad series book Rich Dad, Poor Dad are basic concepts. It was a book to introduce the reader that working hard your whole life is not the way to create real wealth. In Real Estate Loopholes, the concepts for investing in real estate are pretty much the same amount of detail as in RDPD. It's a short read intended to give the reader some surface level knowledge of real estate tax advantage and legal issues to avoid by setting up LPs and LLPs. By reading this book, I'm able to ask more intelligent questions for my real estate attorney.
I'd say that it's a worthwhile read, but only if you are starting out in real estate investment and are going to be working with an attorney so you can ask follow up questions in forming your LLP that will be holding the real estate. (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-06-27 14:06:42 EST)

I read this book before I read the Amazon reviews. I was shocked at some of the negative comments. My recommendation is to read all of the how-to real estate books you want. When you finally decide you're going to invest, buy this book. It will save you money and headaches. If nothing else it will give you a basic understanding of ownership options and tax benefits (loopholes) that you can then discuss with a lawyer and accountant. Know what you're getting in to before you make your first offer to buy. It is the only real estate book that I am 100% satisfied with. Good luck!

E-book would not allow you to print pages for review. Difficult to read on-line. Would not purchase e-books again unless it allows an option to print out certain selected pages. Content of the book was very beneficial.

Sadly, the tile "Real Estate Loopholes" is a misnomer -- this book is fluff and little more. Just count the "stories" which are basically filler (something to beef up two or three true "loopholes," which, by the way, you'd be much better off reading about in the Ernst & Young tax guide 2003. Save your money...

Book might be ok but digital book is a real pain. Hard to down load. Need to make book easy to down load. Wont do it again. Easyer to go to the store and get one then jump though hoops.

Some reviewers have mentioned the fact that this doesn't delve into specifics enough, and that all it does do is give you a list of questions to take with you to ask a real estate lawyer or an accountant. While this is true, I feel that is not necessarily a negative. No book should have pretend to have all the answers, especially when talking about real estate, where there are many variables that make each situation unique. So yes, it does not give you definite answers, but it is valuable as a preparation tool and as examples of possibilities.

Kiyosaki's first book has some value for getting people to perhaps think differently about money. I have found the other books in the Rich Dad series to be repetitious and paltry in terms of content. - - This book by Kennedy is actually not too bad as a bare introduction to tax & legal issues for beginners who know absolutely nothing on the subject. Because it is really directed at beginners, I rated it higher than the ranking I was going to give initially. - - -

This title is not compatible with Pocket PCs, PDAs, or other handhelds. I was taken aback by this since other .PDF files work fine on my Pocket PC. I wish Adobe would make it so I can read all of the books I bought on my Pocket PC PDA.
Who knows? The books might be good. :( Oh, no refunds either. (Review Data Last Updated: 2006-06-21 21:33:47 EST)
