i have been a builder for the last 10 yrs. i only i would have known about this information simplified the way it is, i would not been working for 80 hrs., a week, with the economy the way it is right now, what we want is cash flow, and this is the machine to do it. thanks for all the info.

This book is well written and very informative. It also got me excited about the possibilities of multi-family investing. As with most real estate investing books, it gives you enough information to get yourself in trouble if you are not careful, but there is a lot of good information that can be used as a stepping stone to get to your investment goals.

I love this book! Dave spoke at my REI club a few years ago and I went to the 1 day seminar that followed. Dave was able to answer all my questions on the subject of owning multi-families (namely dup, tri, and quadplexes).
I was afraid to get out of my comfort zone (single families) but when dave laid out how he felt the same fear that I did and truthfully...YOU are probably feeling I thought...F%&* it!!
This book is a definite short cut for you. And it's a steal!! What does it cost? $15-$20 bucks!!
Even though I regularly buy and sell multi-families and think I know it all, Dave's book has tons of chunks of meat and potatoes for me to still go through. It's works really great with the way the market is and real estate is available for pennies on the dollar.

I have been an investor and rehabbing for several years with single and dual family homes. During this time I have read several books on Multi Family Apartment ownership. For some time I have wanted to move on to larger units but was concerned that I didn't have the knowledge to move forward. Each time I finished reading the other books I came away still feeling I needed more practical information to move forward. After reading Dave's book I came away feeling it's time to make the move (to take action). I have now started putting my team together following the advise Dave outlines in this book. So far it is working great.

This book is very simply to read and understand. The author does a great job in making you see the big picture of Multi-family investing. If you really want to build wealth and do it quickly then apartment investmenting is the way to go and this book provides the road map to doing just that.

The value of this book is in the application of the principles explained within. Dave does a fantastic job in conveying these principles.

Personally I hope you don't buy the book. I don't want the competition!

I love this book. I highly recommend it. Make sure you have a pen and piece of paper ready to take notes. Your going to need it.

David once again, over delivers, there are tiny nuggets of gold for those who read every chapter. Basic in the sense if you read and understand a newspaper you will be able to understand his words. But the secret is ACTION.

This is an excellent and informative book full of practical information on investing in multi-family buildings.
Dave takes you step by step through the processes and potential pitfalls of investing with a long-term view.
Well worth the time and money on its own, and a further value is provided via free online resources.

A tell all step by step guide on how to make millions buying multi family units by the master himself! He leaves nothing to the imagination, but rather takes you by the hand and walks you into profits you have dreamed of! A must read for a timely time!

Dave continues to do it differently. He gives more information than the normal guru. However, I would like to have more. You need to read more than one of his books. He also tells the bad with the good. I have had rentals for over twenty years and can tell you I would much rather have no management hassels. Doing it wrong the first time can haunt you forever. I have emailed Dave in the past asking for answers to some of his ideas and gotten a timely response. I highly recommend this book.

Dave Lindahl is right on the money when it comes to buying & flipping, buying, rehabbing, stabilizing, and selling, and buying, repositioning and selling or cash flowing multi-family properties with any of these strategies. Dave has obviously "been there, done that" with all types of multi-family properties. Good book that gives a clear and concise plan for what you need to know both before and after you purchase an apartment complex. The book gives real world examples of some of the pitfalls you can run into and how to protect yourself from them.

A lot of real estate books are theory with the authors having no real experience in everything they talk about. Or on the opposite end of the spectrum there are real estate books that are all about "why" you should invest in real estate and are more motivitaional.

This book was a pleasant surprise. It gives a number of valuable tools to use and a ways to access more information. It focuses, obviously, on multi family properties but the information in this book can be applied to everything from tri-plexes on up. If you;ve got a deal or two under your belt and are looking to grow I highly recommend this book.

I had recently attended a quickie program with David Lindahl as the speaker. Lots of hype to buy. I did find this book very informative for the beginner to moderately informed multifamily investor.

Since repositioning (rehabbing)a property can be a very risky investment opportunity, this book was able to provide me with the insight and the inspiration to do one myself. The author takes a good common sense approach that is easy to understand. This is a must read for anybody wanting to get the maximum value out of their real estate investment and minimize your risks. This is another great book by a real estate investor who practices what he preaches. This book is easy to read and very informative. Repositioning apartment complexes is a sure way to retirement. This book explains the concepts and principles to becoming very successful in yet another powerful investment strategy. An excellent addition to a anyone's personal library.

If someone had a great idea on how to make money why would they tell everyone about it? Why not just got put your idea into practice and make all the money yourself? Because the author of this book is the nicest guy in history? I think it is because he can make more money selling you a bad idea than he can make exploiting the idea itself. That would mean the idea is not very good. Conclusion: Don't buy this book.

Another thing to note. All the other reviewers for this book that gave it four stars. Click on their names. They never reviewed a book before this one. Seem slightly suspicious? It does to me.

Run a search on Google for the title of this book. Find any sites that give a review? Find anything that would indicate how this book leapt to #1 on Amazon? Was the book discussed on any TV shows or on NPR or anywhere else? I didn't find anything.

Better yet, run a search on Google for the author of the book. That is where I found the interesting things.

Clear writing. Step-by-step instructions to follow. The best part is the
author has done these special "repositioning" deals himself and is not just
another guru who makes his money only from teaching. I can actually believe
and follow this guy.

I have Dave's earlier book on market cycles, and thought this might be the
same. It's not. Lindahl does mention market cycles in this book, but the
real focus is on how to reposition properties and make money quickly. I had heard of rehabbing, but never repositioning. It's a good read.

Most real estate books put me to sleep. This one kept me awake and taking
notes about the opportunities I now see in my local area.
