This is a remarkably bad book. The advice takes the form of vague concepts - there's not one practical course of action laid out in this book in a usable form, but you'll get a lot of anecdotal ramblings about the author's big successes exploiting one-time opportunities in contrived scenarios. Legal considerations? Nope, look elsewhere.

There are many good ways to buy properties in this book but, some seem a little sketchy. They really push keeping the houses for your future, but do you really want to be a landlord, I don't and would rather sell and move on, who wants to deal with that. I have friends with properties and it is a constant pain in the b..., if you don't know how to fix small problems yourself you will be constantly hiring someone else to fix them and there goes all your profits. Peter never talks about taxes either rather painting a great picture of profit, yes he does talk about writing off the interest, but never about Capitol Gains tax that you will have to pay when you sell the house no matter how long you own it, you don't have to pay it if you live in the house for two years but if you rent you will. There is defiantly money to be made now and in the coming years and I will use some of the resources (They give you access to there wed site for free) and ideas in this book to make some money, but think long and hard were you buy (neighborhood etc.) and if there is really enough profit in the property after you pay your real estate people, Taxes and other expenses. Good luck!!!

Just finished reading Peter Conti's Making Big Money in Forclosures, 2nd Edition and I thought it was great! If you plan on investing in the forclosure market any time soon you should do yourself a favor and read this book so you will have the very latest information available. Thanks again Peter! Making Big Money Investing Foreclosure is a must read for any investor looking to expand their knowledge of the forclosure market.

This book explains process of working with PEOPLE through their forclosure problem so they can get to a better place in an ethical manner. The web information provided via this book is very useful for understanding the forclosure in my state and in other ones.

Actually ideas expressed in the book are even helpful in a regular real estate transaction.

The MFG coaches that are eluded to in the book are the best I have met.

I know Peter personally and his goal truly is to share his knowledge and he does it well in this book. He truly desires to see other people come out of poverty as he did. He shares his heart and does it well.

I do not have Peter's 1st edition of this book, but I do have his other books. In this book, as with the others, he provides useful real-world information that can assist you in starting or furthering your real estate investing. There are detailed charts, scripts, real-life example stories and even example documents to make this book a real bang-for-buck buy.

I've read every book Peter Conti has written and have found this to be an excellent source. Now that I've done a few deals (after reading several other books by Peter), I found this to be most helpful. It has helped me fine tune my marketing and has reminded me of what not to do! This is very important for us beginning investors! This is an excellent source to add to my library.

This book shows you how to take your investing business to the next level so that you can become more successful with less time fixing toilets and chasing down tenants. This book shows you 12 ways to structure deals with little or no money down. How to use "Subject To" Financing. It explains the Instant Offer System so that you can get more sellers to say "YES" to your creative solutions. Peter Conti also takes you step by step how to use a short sale to create some income from properties that other investors may have decided to pass on. Finally, this book shows you how to put your investing business on automatic pilot so that you can concentrate on the bigger picture and focus on larger deals. I cannot wait to implement the ideas I have learned in this book to take my investing business to the stratusphere.

Having read the 1st edition started me on the path of foreclosure investing. The 1st edition was an excellent source for the steps that are necessary to be a successful foreclosure invester. The materal was layed out in a manner that could be understood by any one. The 2nd edition only enhances the 1st edition. I recommend either book to read, even if a person does not want to be an invester. But be fore warned, if you do read either book {recommend both books, 1st edition, then the 2nd edition}you will change your mind and become an invester.

We are fairly new to the foreclosure market and we found that this book was very helpful in getting a better understanding of the process and methods for handling them. We are currently using it to help guide us through a short sale. It describes how to talk to the seller and to the lender. It doesn't have everything but without it we would be further behind and probably wouldn't make the deadline.

I have read numerous books on Real Estate Investing, and I find

Perhaps the most impressive thing about this new, updated book is that the information imparted is up-to-the-minute accurate in its dealing with the foreclosure market as it exists today...this day!!! If you have any interest in investing in foreclosures, or just want to know more on the subject, this book is an absolute MUST READ!

Making Big Money Investing In Foreclosures Without Cash or Credit 2nd Edition 2007 by Peter Conti is updated and DYNAMIC! As a long-time investor, himself, Peter obviously stays abreast of the Real Estate Market and understands the trends better than most. In fact, Peter has trained others whose books you may have read. Now you can get your information from the master investor, himself. In this book Peter takes the readers by the hand and leads them, step-by-step down the road to success in Making Big Money Investing in Foreclosures Without Cash or Credit. The wealth of knowledge shared in this book will astound you. You have not really read a book on investing in foreclosures until you have read this remarkable book.

After attempting to do pre-foreclosures on my own and becoming tongue tied when talking to the seller, I find that the scripts in this 2nd edition helped me to move forward with talking with the seller and the banker (e.g. the loss mitigator).

This 2nd edition not only explains the foreclosure process, but it explains how to talk to and what to say to people that you converse with through out the process. That's a thumbs up for me.

A great book for new investors to read before getting started in foreclosures. The book gives ideas for finding motivated sellers and structuring deals. A step by step action plan once you find a good property. Some great ideas thanks for sharing Peter!
