There is no pretense to be expert on the types of model boats included in this book. My area of learning/expertise is radio control sailboats, and the book "Radio Control Boat Modeling" is primarily about building and maintaining model power boats. The emphasis is almost totally on the modeling, and if that is where you interest and developing skills are taking you..this is a well written book.
