This book was recommended to me by my Photoshop instructor. It's excellent, easy to follow. If takes you through things step by step. I appreciate having it as a reference manual. It's basic, but that's the idea.

I have been using Corel 6 for editing my pictures and look forward to improving my skills with Elements 6 easy Steps assistance. This book was recommended in a recent Photoshop seminar as a primer by the instructor.

This is a great book for someone not familiar with Elements or any other Photoshop tool. Certainly better than "Dummies" which was complicated and failed to address the simple nuances of the program. Photoshop Elements 6 provides the user many different techniques to accomplish the same thing (whatever's easier for you). After completing it, I was able to advance to more complicated functions without using the book. Highly recommend it.

I have bought and returned so many "PS E 6" books b/c they were all so complex. If you are a beginner this book is PERFECT. It explains the basics instead of juming right in and NOT explaing anything like the others. I would highly recommend!.

The books in this series are a very well written and easy for beginners to understand. I teach Photoshop Elements as well as digital scrapbooking in our computer club. The In Easy Steps Books are the basis of my instruction, and at this price I do not hesitate to recommend them to my students. I have purchased several of the Photohshop Elements books, Photography books, as well as the one for Digital Scrapbooking which is now out of print. I hope it appears again.

Once introduced to this series when I took a class in Elements 2. Have subsequently bought many other books in this series. Can't beat the price, and it gives you what you need to know, without more complications.
