I bought this book to record memories as I am in the third month of my first pregnancy. I love that it has a place to record thoughts and mount photos from each week! I know I will cherish the thoughts that I have recorded in this journal. I recommend it to anyone who wants to take weekly photos and have a memory of their pregnancy.

I bought this for my second pregnancy since I kept a journal for my first one. I am pretty happy with it. The only thing I could do without is the weekly spots for belly pictures. I would like to have pictures but I don't need them for the first 10 or 12 weeks, so those spots are all blank. Also, the places for journal entries are very small, so if you are a writer, you might want to go with something a little different......

This book is so cute and was just what I needed to inspire me to write about my pregnancy. I wanted to record it by journaling, but had bought and returned three journals already (they did not inspire me) before a friend recommended buying this one. The little prompts are perfect, and the picture/word space ratio is pretty good - if I had no picture but lots to write, I would just write where there would have been a picture, or all around the space for the picture. And it's a fun, easy way to share what's going on with my pregnancy without having to tell the same story over and over. I'm just beginning my second trimester and I am loving this little book!

I really like this journal. This is my third pregnancy. I don't need all the info about registries and preg diet, just simply want to record memories and thoughts of this pregnancy. It is designed week by week, much easier to keep up to date than most journals that are made for daily entries. Not much changes day to day to record. Plus, I am keeping up with a 1 and 3 year old. There is a place for US pictures each trimester and a place for a picture each week, if desired. I have found that printing 3x5 inch pictures fit nicely in the space provided. There are places to record other details of pregnancy including prenatal visits, cravings, baby nickname, baby names, shower info, labor and delivery info., etc. Overall, I like this journal the best of the three I have owned.

I actually accidently bought 2 and I am saving it for baby number 2. It was perfect and asked fun questions!

I have really enjoyed filling out my Belly Book! Of all the pregnancy journals I looked at, this is by far my favorite. It has good prompts for what to write, and it's fun to see the before and after pictures of my growing belly.

I'm 18 weeks along and have only taken a couple of belly pictures, but I've still found this pregnancy journal to be excellent. It's funny, there's space to capture all the details, and there are plenty of questions to inspire you to write about your pregnant. Before you officially "pop" I recommend taking photos of things other than your (flat) belly and pasting those into the book. They'll be equally as interesting to anyone reading it in the future. Put a picture of you putting your crib together, or one of you watching the first ultrasound... any of that would be wonderful in lieu of one belly photo after the next. I do recommend taking at least one "before" photo of the earliest stages of pregnancy, one before you've completely popped (when you look more like you've eaten a full meal), one after popping, and then one towards the end. But that's all you'll really need. The rest of the journal will be the best parts.

My friend and I looked at this book in the store and we were a bit confused. How could you take a picture of week 1 of your pregnancy? If there are 12 weeks in the first trimester, then that would be two weeks before you conceive. Also, if you go over term, there aren't extra week pages for that. It would be better if they were included because they could easily be removed (the book is spiral bound) if you deliver early or on time.

Also, for a book that doesn't have much actual text, there are two typographical errors that we both caught immediately. That's unfortunate.

All in all, this might be the best actual book for pregnancy tracking because it doesn't have all the information hat all the other books have. If you just want a cute record of pregnancy, this might be your book. On the other hand, you could probably make your on using the ideas from this book and it would be more personal (aka not check boxes), have the appropriate length for your pregnancy and wouldn't have errors.

I am only in my 9th week, but I already love this book! I am keeping a journal of my pregnancy, but this is more of a fun, cutesy way of remembering everything. I would highly recommend it!

This book is cute in the format and the way it is made with the pages like a growing belly, BUT.. you should have it before you are pregnant. Since it starts you at day one. There are alot of places for pictures of you and your belly, (hince the name) Its an ok book. But to be honest it just wasn't the book for me, since I waited until I was past 12 weeks to purchase a book. I wasn't taking week by week photos so that would leave a lot of the book empty.

I received this book with my first pregnancy. I found it to not have enough lines to write in. It was a little too cutesy for my liking, but some people might like it. It was also pretty simple, which some people might also like.

I LOVE the Belly Book! It is so fun and easy to fill in, and has tons of cute/funny questions and lots of spaces for belly and ultrasound pictures. I bought a different journal when I first found out I was expecting and didn't really like it. It was so boring and wordy. The Belly Book is perfect!

I absolutely LOVE this book. I wanted an organized keepsake of my pregnancy. A place to put pictures of my growing belly, print-outs and pamphlets I collected, and my thoughts each week and month of the pregnancy. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I am right now.

I really liked this book. I ended up giving it as a present to my sister in law because I thought she would enjoy it too. It has lots of details and places for many pictures. I often look back through it and my son is 16 months.

I like this book for the most part but I definitely think it could be better. I like that it asks questions about how your feeling and all that. It's not just a book of blank pages that you have to think of what you really want to write. I'm not a scrapbooker by any means, I really don't like scrapbooking and this was so easy for me. However, the first and second trimester sections are not large enough for a 4x6 photo. So I had to cut all of my belly pictures to fit into this thing. I had to cut all the ones for the third trimester as well because even if you put your photo in so it's 4" high and 6" wide, the 4" high is too big. It will either cover up your date or cover up the week that your on. So I sat for quite a while cutting up pictures, which was a drag. Also, if you plan on putting your ultrasound photos be sure to scan them onto your computer and print out a regular photo. Ultrasound photos can fade over time. All in all it's an okay book for the price. I hope my son enjoys it when he's older, although I think I'll be the one hanging onto it. He's only 2 months old right now so he can't fully appreciate it.

I think this journal is great. It gives you plenty of spaces to write comments on your growing belly. It also asks a lot of questions, questions you may not think to write about yourself. There is places for pictures of your growing belly and ultrasounds. The journal goes by week to week so you don't miss much. I recommend it.

As soon as I found out I was pregnant with my 1st child, I wanted to get started on a pregnancy journal right away. I am very happy with this book b/c it's cute (not too frilly or too bland), there's plenty of room to write, it has spaces for pictures (which I am HUGE on) and it gives you topics to write about that you may not think of otherwise. It is broken up into trimesters with sections to write about reactions, pre-natal visits (with places to put ultrasound pics), pregnancy landmarks (ie- when I wore my 1st maternity outfit, when I 1st heard the baby's heartbeat, etc.), cravings/aversions, things like that. Then each trimester is broken down into weeks, with a space to put a picture of your growing belly! Overall, it's a simple yet thorough pregnancy journal & I plan to get it for my future pregnancies & pregnant friends!

Good book for journaling your pregnancy as a keepsake for your baby. There are many prompts for what to write. There are also spaces for photos for each week of your belly and each ultrasound. It also includes space for possible baby names you have come up with and shower gifts etc. I would have liked to have a page dedicated to a family tree but there is enough space for me to make my own.

I had a pregnancy journal for my first baby and decided to do one for my second as well. As any pre-printed, fill-in-the-blank journal will be, there might be quite a few areas that don't apply to every individual. I just found ways to make them my own. It is a nice keepsake to hand down to your child or to look back on during future pregnancies.

I bought this for my niece and she loves it. I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as she does. It'll be awesome when her baby is grown up and can look at this book that his mom filled out while pregnant with him.

A neighbor bought me this as a gift and I love it. I used it all the way through my pregnancy and its already such a neat thing to look back on, I have bought it for other pregnant friends.

I would recommend this journal to anyone. It asks questions that you can fill in simple answers, leaves room for ultrasound and belly pictures, and gives you space to freely write your own thoughts. It's everything I was looking for in a pregnancy journal!

I bought this as a gift for my daughter, she seems to really enjoy it! It allows you to catalog the details of your pregnancy. There are places for week by week photos, spots for journaling, record doctors visits, comments and all that goes with being pregnant etc.
I would recommend this book. Its a good way to record your pregnancy and kudos to the creator! Excellent!

This book is so cute and so much fun! It is a nice change from the pregnancy journals of the past! Much more "now".

This is a perfect book to write all of your things down in, it has a place to put a picture of every week you are pregnant and a place to write about that week, so its good to get it early or start taking pictures early cause I didnt, it asks questions throughout the book about things you would forget to mention, places for your ultrasound pictures. Its in a file/category type format, it separates each trimester by a cute tab. its just an all around great book if you are into remembering, and scrap booking memories. It took me forever to find a journal for pregnancy and this one is great.

i wish that i could have veiwed this book from the inside before i purchased it i probably would not have purchased it if so just dont feel that it lets you keep track of a pregnancy that well

This is a very cute journal. I seem to have more luck with filling this one out than some from previous pregnancies.

I shopped around quite a bit for the perfect journal to record the milestones and info leading up to baby's birth day. In fact, I purchased 4 journals...and this one is my favorite. The layout is charming (shaped like a growing belly) and there is enough space each week to write whatever you desire, as well as to include a photo each week if you so choose. I have photos pasted on some weeks...and others have lots of my ramblings filling up the entire page.

There are separate pages in each section for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester prenatal appointments, ultrasounds (and photos), name ideas, and full pages at the end of each trimester for mom/dad's "closing thoughts".

I like that there are some occasional lead questions, but not too many that it is cumbersome or overly rediculous with petty questions. The type is also light enough that if you wish to ignore a question...well, I write right over it. :)

The cover is hard covered board, and inside it is spiral - making it very easy to turn and lay open to write. There is also an elastic strap that wraps around the entire book and keeps it tightly closed -- I have placed photos, envelopes, and other special mementos inside and they do not fall out!!

My only wish is that it included 40 or 41 weeks (for those of us who do tend to carry to full term) rather than the 39 it currently has. I used the "closing remarks" pages at the end of the 3rd Tri for my Week 40.

I have had fun with this book and will certainly purchase another for our next baby-to-be.

I really like this journal - it's simple, not a ton of useless/stupid questions. It's not overwhelming- I just sit down and answer one or two questions every couple of weeks. I like how it's tabbed by trimester. After flipping through another journal that a friend of mine just got, I kind of wish I would have bought that one. It's called "Hiccups and Butterflies" or something like that!

I love this little book. I have filled every page with details I do not want to forget. There is enough space to write memories for each week, a space for photos and ultrasounds (you will need to reprint and resize them because it's slightly smaller than a notebook). Also has pages for tracking impressions of doctor appointments and end-of-trimester thoughts. The beauty of it is that YOU write the entire book! It only has guided spaces and a few questions here and there. Room for favorite baby names, baby shower gifts received and at the end has room for childbirth afterthoughts. Overall, a wonderful gift. Make sure it makes it to your preggo by the early weeks/months of her pregnancy as it is a weekly journal that is best filled out as you progress along. Would recommend to a friend and cannot wait to show my baby when he's old enough to appreciate it.

The book is not so organized as I would like it to be, there are some things that it skips to and some I have to keep going back to fill in. It's ok.

I searched and searched the stores for a pregnancy journal that I liked, but was unable to find one. The Belly Book had everything I was looking for. It is divided into weeks and trimesters, has a place for ultrasound photos, and plenty of space to write additional info. It also has cute questions for you to answer about things like cravings and maternity clothes. This will be a great keepsake for our son.

This is a great book for recording your thoughts, cravings, information about your pre-natal visits, and more. It's colorful and I love that it is separated by trimester. It puts a fun spin on being pregnant by asking you to choose an answer to fun questions like, "My appetite is currently the size of: Rhode Island, Texas, or the Louisiana Purchase." There is a place to put pictures and a good amount of room to write down all of your thoughts. Overall, I think this is a wonderful pregnancy journal.

This is a really fun pregnancy book. Its round shape reminiscent of a belly is cute, and the prompts inside are both pertinent and amusing. This will make a wonderful souvenir of my first pregnancy and will be fun to share with my little one when he/she grows up!

I got this journal to use as 'my' journal of my wife being pregnant. It has been a lot of fun to be involved in the pregnancy and expectancy of our twins in this fun way. My wife has filled in portions that ask for her specific feelings and etc. I filled in many of the earlier weeks of the pregnancy photos with pictures of the two of us out having fun around the city. I want the children to know there are two parents expecting them, not just one. My wife loves that I have put pictures with me in them in the book too. We thought of doing a side-by-side photo of both our growing bellys! HA! I was not up for that. So, basically, this journal is fun for the couple to fill out and be a part of the process of recording both your experiences of the pregnancy and coming children. A definite gotta-get-it book!!

We tried to get pregnant for two years, and when it finally happened I wanted to document everything. I found this book and thought it was adorable. What a neat keepsake. But as my pregnancy went on, I realized that a lot of the sections didn't apply to me. There weren't enough spots for my ultrasound photos, I didn't have adversions, I wasn't sick, etc. So much of the book stayed blank. It's a great idea, but really check out each section and each page before purchasing.

I bought this book for my first pregnancy and have already purchased four more as gifts! It is a fun way to remember your pregnancy. There are questions and note spaces throughout the book, as well as space for photos of your growing belly each week, ultrasound photos, and doctor appointments. My husband was gone for the first 5 months of the pregnacy, so this has been fun for him to look back and she what I was experiencing. I am exctied for my daughter to be able to look through and see how we grew together!!

This is a great book for chronicling your journey through pregnancy. I sit down with it every week and fill in the pages for the previous week...it's fun to reminisce and know that you'll be able to share your experience with your child one day when they are grown up.

I like this book a lot. It has helped me to document each week of my pregnancy. I wish they didn't have a spot specifically for week-by-week photo though as we opted not to do that. But overall a fun book to keep tract of how you are feeling with your pregnancy.

I just found out I am pregnant for the second time. This time i have the baby book and also purchased this one. I plan on keeping this one for my memories! It is soo cute and has lots of places to put pictures. it also gives you the freedom to document all your thoughts and feelings in a fun silly way! I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!

I got this book when I was already four months along, and I love it. There's just enough space for comments and notes, and I love the week-by-week journal pages, with spaces for pictures. Of course I don't have pics of my belly for the weeks before I knew I was pregnant, but I included pics of myself taken during those weeks, or pics of what was going on during that week. It's so much fun filling it out, and I know that I will complete this one precisely BECAUSE it's so much fun. The design is fun, too, with the pages for each trimester "sticking out" more, just as your belly does. This will be a fantastic keepsake for me and my baby. The only thing I wish it had (and I noticed another reviewer mentioned the same thing) is a space on each week to write the dates for that week. I wrote it in myself, but it would be nice if there was a spot for it.

I highly recommend this book for any pregnant woman, no matter how far along you are.

The Belly Book prompts a mommy-to-be to enter important details about the pregnancy like foods that make you sick and foods you have to have. There are also places for a picture of the pregnant belly from week to week. I can't wait to see the finished product once I have the baby in February!!

I bought this book at the bookstore. I wanted to find a journal-type book to document my pregnancy. My memory was starting to go, and I didn't want to forget anything! Thank goodness I got this book. My memory is gone now! :) I love this book. There are so many different areas in it. The beginning has a spot for your name, age, and which pregnancy this is for you. It has three divisions: first, second, and third trimesters. The tabs are colored, too. Each section has questions relevant to that trimester. For example, the first trimester: Where and when I took the home pregnancy test and First reaction when I realized it was positive. There's a spot to put your doctor's name, your starting weight, and your plans for delivery. There's a section in every trimester titled Cravings & Aversions (food you love and hate at the time). There is room for pictures on every page. There are pages strictly for ultrasound pictures. You can write something on every page. It goes week-by-week. I just LOVE it! I would HIGHLY recommend this book to every pregnant woman out there. It's a great way to document your pregnancy, and a great momento for the child it's about. One day, I'll give this book to my baby. I hope she'll appreciate it as much as I do. :)

Although this book seemed like a great idea I felt as though there was not enough space to really write my own information. I really wasn't a big fan of it, although I did use it. It would have been easier to create a scrapbook of my own.

This is a great book, but I would recommend getting it as early as possible in your pregnancy because you will have a hard time filling it out afterward. It's a lot of fun!

I bought two different pregnancy books and liked this one the best. It seems to ask just enough questions for prompting your memory but not so many to be burdensom. It is a light-hearted book that is also just enough serious to capture special moments. It's basically set up ona weekly schedule, so it great for a person who wants to record special moments and memories of pregnancy but not every single detail.
