The Day of Islam: The Annihilation of America and the Western World

In two previous books, Osama's Revenge and The Al Qaeda Connection, seasoned investigative reporter Paul Williams revealed the alarming potential for nuclear terrorism on U.S. soil and the sinister connections among organized crime, illegal immigrants, and al Qaeda. Now, Williams broadens his focus beyond al Qaeda to provide readers with newly uncovered information on terrorist activities in Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, other Muslim countries--and our neighbor Canada! What emerges is a harrowing picture of international terrorist activities, all aimed at the destruction of the United States and the collapse of the Western world. This cataclysm will usher in "the Day of Islam," the dream of radical Muslims to see all of humankind fall in submission before the throne of Allah. Based on the "forgotten testimony" of the FBI's "Confidential Source One," as well as other sources, Williams first presents evidence of Osama Bin Laden's purchase of highly enriched uranium in Sudan and nuclear devices from the Chechens and the Russian Mafia. He then offers further information on the workings of Pakistani scientists and technicians from the A. Q. Khan Research Facility to maintain and upgrade al Qaeda's "bespoke nukes" (with explosive yields in excess of ten kilotons) for the "American Hiroshima." This information comes with empirical proof that should dispel any doubts that these weapons not only have been developed but have also been forward-deployed from the seaport at Karachi to strategic locations within the Western world. Keeping the focus on Pakistan, he predicts a nightmarish scenario if President Pervez Musharref should be overthrown and his arsenal of sixty-eight nuclear weapons falls into the hands of radical mullahs. Williams also examines the role of the Iranians both in sponsoring terrorism and in planning the American Hiroshima. In addition, he uncovers many unreported and startling accounts of the terrorist activities of Hezbollah in America and presents evidence that the marriage between Hezbollah and al Qaeda has been consummated. Finally, he presents intelligence showing that grave threats to America come, not from just our southern border, but from Canada and its amazingly open policies regarding radical Islam. The greatest threat of all, he concludes, comes from within --not only from the radical mosques within every major American city but also the Islamic paramilitary compounds in rural areas throughout the country, including Islamberg in New York State, where new recruits are trained for the great jihad against the United States under the very nose of FBI and Homeland Security officials.

Sure to be controversial, this shocking exposé sends a wake-up to Americans lulled into a false sense of security in the post-9/11 era.

Through his 14 chapters, Dr. Paul Williams is a master at bringing together hundreds of references in such a way that the reader KNOWS there will be nuclear attacks on US soil. As in 911, the al-Qaida are very patient and determined to eradicate WE American "infidels" at all cost. The reader is therefore for-warned to prepare to be totally independent of the usual support services, such as store-bought food, water, electricity, transportation, health care and electronic media. The author has given us a 'wake-up call" for more severe circumstances than the 911 event. The "Day of Islam" should be required reading for all US citizens.

Other reviewers have pounced on Williams for a few misstatements on relatively minor points. These commentators unfortunately miss the forest for the trees.

Here, Williams has provided a collection of extremely well documented facts concerning al Qaeda's purchases of a dozen or so suitcase sized nuclear devices and highly refined, weapons grade uranium--- to which most of the deficient mainstream press has given scant attention.

The general New Orleans population knew for over 30 years before Hurricane Katrina that Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain levees were old, weak, and desperately in need of reinforcement. But in 1977, Louisiana environmentalists defeated a long-planned, strategic U.S. Army Corps of Engineers overhaul of the system that would have included floodgates at two critical junctures to shore up the city against a Class 5 Hurricane and Gulf of Mexico storm surges that could otherwise inundate it---which, eventually, they did.

Today, the mainstream press, pays as little attention to both the basic Islamic theology underpinning al Qaeda ideology and the weapons it has amassed as it did to the the pending disaster that ultimately struck New Orleans.

And in a very sound analogy, Williams draws exactly this comparison. For it is well known in security circles that al Qaeda does have nuclear weapons, and does intend to use them. And it does not require a rocket scientist to determine the extent of the danger.

Yet, as Williams skillfully points out, supposedly competent journalists have totally bungled the story, lulling the American public and the West into believing the danger is far smaller than it really is.

This book should frighten all Americans, regardless of their religious or political persuasions. Beginning with the introduction of Jamal Ahmed al-Fadl, a disgruntled Somali al Qaeda informer (not mentioned even once by the 9/11 Commission), Williams methodically exposes the means by which al Qaeda acquired these arms---with help from Chechen Muslims, underpaid Russian soldiers, Spetsnaz security men, drug cartels, corrupt businessmen and former Soviet officials after the USSR meltdown.

Readers should find especially alarming how lax journalists have been about reporting the warnings of the late Russian General Alexander Lebed (and many others) concerning several dozens of special briefcase sized atomic warheads---perhaps even 100 or more---gone missing since 1992. Williams analyzes one particularly harrowing account in exacting detail: former Wall Street Journal and London Sunday Times reporter Richard Miniter's aptly titled book, Disinformation ---falsely claiming (without attribution) that experts had "authoritatively dismissed" the fact that a small nuclear device can be set off by a single person. Williams exactingly proves otherwise.

As a writer covering shari'a banking and terror financing, among other related subjects, I must unfortunately confirm alarming lack of education in the mainstream press on basic Islamic theology, ideology, war doctrine, tactics, technology and funding.

Williams' few and minor errors are entirely forgivable.

General press ignorance on these subjects, and the general press failure to attempt to report them correctly, are not.

This excellent book summarizes Islamic terrorism from the early 90's to 2007. It shows the often stated aim of destroying Western Civilization and replacing it with Islamic rule of the most fundamental nature.
It goes into great deal covering the leaders and the actions they have taken so far.It covers the training of terrorists in many countries and how these terrorists have spread to all the countries in the western hemisplere. It gives extensive details on how nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction have been obtained, the number involved and who the individuals were who aided in their spread. The book explains how this terrorism is funded.
It goes into great detail on the manufacture of small, suitcase sized, nuclear devices, the number that have been manufactured, how they have been stolen or purchased ,and how they are now distributed in several countries;and readily available by terrorist cells ,to be used whenever they feel the time is right.
There have been many terrorist attacks already, and if 9/11 hadn't taken place, many believe it would not have been possible. This book will show you that ,what we have been subjected to,is but the tip of the iceberg;and far greater attacks are planned, the weapons and operatives are already in place;just waiting for the orders to unlease the an unimaginable series of attacks.
The author does not just outline a series of speculations. He reviews ,with names, locations and dates what has already taken place aad what is already planned for the future.Every item discussed is backed up with references that are there to confirm his statements.
If you have any knowledge of the events that took place in the 1920's and 1930's that led up to WWII,this book should convince you, that WWII was a cakewalk compared to what is being put into place by Islam today. Tanks and fighter bombers of WWII vintage were toys compared to WMD's and suitcase size, nuclear weapons that can be transported ,and operated by one terrorist ;and on top of that are most likely already widely distributed.
It is no longer a matter of if,now, but when.

(Hide Review...)  Valid theme obscured by hyperbole and poor fact checking
Reviewer Permalink
If Paul Williams had a very good editor and a competent fact-checker, this could have been a great and much-needed book.

Williams' theme is the intent of certain Islamic groups to wreak havoc on Western nations, particularly the United States. He claims that Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda has already amassed and continues to acquire nuclear devices of various kinds to accomplish this nefarious purpose.

The problem I have with Williams is his hyperbolic style and inattention to fact-checking. For example, in one chapter, he refers to the C-130 as a "giant" cargo plane. While it is the workhorse of the U.S. and other airforces around the world, it cannot be fairly considered a "giant" freight hauler. Williams also refers to "Reuter" as an American news agency. Reuters is British. Small things, but if an author is wrong in small things, why should he be taken unquestioningly in larger matters?

Rational people know that Williams is right on several counts. There is no question that certain Islamic movements consider mass murder to be a legitimate means to advance their cause and Williams reprints the chilling fatwa of Nasir bin Hamd al-Fahd to support his argument. Not only have the popular media carried many stories of attempts by al Qaeda and others to acquire nuclear materials, but there has been much testimony before the U.S. Congress as well on the issue. There is, unfortunately, the very real possibility that the U.S. or some other nation will be attacked at some time with a nuclear weapon.

Unfortunately Williams does not stick to this point. He instead casts too broadly to support his case and brings in much superfluous material on the terrorist network. After a while, his points become diffuse and even confusing.

One chapter in particular though is striking and that is about how Canada has become a sanctuary for alleged Islamic terrorists and how frighteningly easy it is for them to enter the US from Canada. To me that was probably the scariest chapter in the book.

Overall, it is regrettable that Williams did not have a better editor and more stringent fact checking. I think he was a story to tell and a frightening one at that. But in its present state, I don't think many will find "The Day Of Islam" to be convincing and that is unfortunate.

This book like the ones before on this subject by Paul Williams are quite disturbing to say the least. While his explanation of what a thermo nuclear bomb would do is horrifiying. The reader must realize that this is not what AlQueda wishes to inflict on the western world, it is mearly a factual description of the destructive power of a nuclear bomb. But he is crafty in making the description of the bombs capabilitys with the supposed wish of Alqueda be one and the same. Like saying a gun can tear your internal organs to pieces and describing all the scientific ways that your body would be destroyed by such a bullet entering your body, then telling you the wierdo next door was reading a gun magazine at the lcoal book store, so by Mr. Williams logic the wierdo next door is plotting to kill you with a gun and there is nothing you can do about it because your dumb and the police are dumb, but he is the smartest most evil weirdo in the world. And of course he is playing on the events of 911 to tell you that even though this event is ridulous to consider, 911 happened so of course this nuclear attack is also inevitable, like a weatherman predicting rain everyday for a month until it finally rains. See he was right, even if it takes 10 years or 100 years, what an insightful investigator he is!!

(Hide Review...)  Is this real or a paranoid fantasy? I cannot tell from the book itself.
Reviewer Permalink
I admit that I am betwixt and between on this book. On the one hand, I agree that the Jihadists represent a serious threat to the West and especially to the security of the United States and I think we would be worse than foolish to not suspect they have nuclear ambitions. On the other hand I am also am aware that anyone can write a book making all kinds of extravagant claims. The entire industry based on paranoid conspiracies is proof of that. So, is this really a book offering keen insights into true and dangerous events or is it a book drumming up fear and paranoia without real evidence? Frankly, I cannot tell. There are photographs of containers that claim to be nuclear material purchased by Al Qaeda in the Sudan and another of a portable nuclear device. Are these photos legit? Again, how could you tell? The portable nuclear device credits the photo to the FBI, but does NOT claim that it is in the hands of Al Qaeda, although its context would invite you to believe such devices are in their hands.

The fourteen chapters take us through the testimony of informants ignored by the establishment, of the truth behind AQ Kahn, of Osama's nuclear team, of the Jihadist efforts to attack the US through Mexico and Canada. There is a disturbing chapter of a camp being used for training Islamic Terrorists in the New York called Islamberg. Of course, the people who run the place deny everything said in this book and others. You can find their site easily through any search engine. However, their denials are always couched in the non-denial denials the Jihadists always use.

So, if the book is true it deserves four or five stars. If it is just a paranoid fantasy, it deserves less than one star. Since I cannot tell which it is I give it three stars as a compromise and encourage you, if interested, to take a look and decide for yourself.

Interesting read but keep in mind that Williams is a very opinionated writer who basically operates on the theory that everyone but members of Al-queda is an idiot. Look him up on Wikipedia, he is being sued for false statements in an earlier book and his publisher caved. Nuggets of truth here, I'm sure, but a lot of nonsense and it is difficult to figure out which is which.

The Publishers Weekly Review of this book made me want to hurl. Let's just sit around the camp fire and talk about our world views okay, while the forest around us is on fire and closing in on us fast. Please! I don't know when I have been left so angry after having read a book. What in the world can we do when our own government has sold us down the river with our porous borders and political correctness. Every person in America needs to read this book. Folks, there is a war coming sometime in the not so distant future that is going to kill one third of the world's population and it is possible that it will ignite right here in the homeland. Check out the Bible; it's all there.

I have read many of the other similar type books which frighten any level headed American with sourced factual material. The biggest shocker to me is the listing of the various towns and locations here within OUR own borders, where muslims practice military and weapons training under our very noses with nothing to fear from the FBI/CIA etc. There can be little doubt that at least several nuclear weapons are already in the United States, pre placed and made ready...the main thing I learned from this book is how absolutely careless the Canadian government has been concerning our mutual border security, and how welcoming they have been to radical muslim immigrants.

As the nation saw after the Katrina debacle, you had better start preparing your own family now for survival by establishing some sort of emergency kit for use when the next 9-11 occurs. Anyone who just sits back and trusts the government for protection will wish differently after its too late!! Its not a matter of IF we will be attacked with nuclear weapons, its clearly a matter of WHEN. The 7 cities listed in this book destined as targets of destruction will ensure the misery is widespread and long term.....

On page 24 the author writes, "He (bin Laden) presently remains in the small village of Dir, about fifty miles from the Afghan border. His whereabouts may be mystery to US intelligence but it is proclaimed in the shabnamas or 'night letters' that are circulated among Pashtu tribesmen. 32" Note number 32 refers to a newspaper article dated August 29, 2002. The author thinks bin Laden is in Dir! So that means that US intelligence has not read the Pashtu "night letters" or is too stupid to take a close look at Dir to find out who really lives there.
After page 24 it is difficult to take the judgments made in this book seriously.

Paul Williams' best book. He shines a light onto the facts ignored, obscured, hidden, and even suppressed by our government and the news media--facts that prevent Americans from accurately assessing the dangers of the gathering Islamic storm.

This in not a political book. Not a Conservative vs. Liberal, Republican vs. Democrat, or Secular Progressive vs. Christian. It is a book about American's vs. propagandists.

The reader meets Jamal Ahmed al-Fadl, the forgotten informer who's critical information "got lost;" was not included in the 9/11 Report. Then there are the Chechen terrorists, and their role in obtaining Soviet nuclear weapons. And, the Drug Trade's connection to Islamic terrorists, including Central and South America. Russian General Lebed's warning about undocumented, missing special atomic demolition munitions (suitcase nukes)--a warning poo-pooped by the medial and many "experts." I know the U.S. had SADMs. I helped fit the prototype PAL (prescribed action link) to the Davie Crocket version of the warhead. This is just the tip of the iceberg of information contained in William's book.

Several pages of William's book are devoted to debunking Richard Miniter's book, Disinformation: 22 Media Myths That Undermine the War on Terror. I have read several of Miniter's articles and agree with Williams. A copy of Miniter's book has been ordered and I will post a review after reading it. Williams refers to a Miniter Sunday Times article (page 78) that says the notion of a small nuclear device that can be set off by a single person has been "authoritatively dismissed" by all authorities on the subject. Beware of any person that uses terms like "all authorities" or "everyone knows." For Mr. Miniter's information, SADMs were designed to be set off by one man (people get wounded or killed on covert operations). Set the timer and leave as quickly as you can. Thank you, Mr. Williams, for setting the record straight on Mr. Miniter's disinformation.

We hear of the dangers of infiltration across the Mexican border, but what about Canada? Williams presents details and scary tales about Canada, a haven of Islamic terrorists.

Williams identifies gun-type nuclear weapons as the type terrorists can make, if, or when, they obtain sufficient quantities of highly enriched uranium. The type of weapon terrorists use in my novel, The Rings of Allah, probably the most accurate description of this type of weapon available.

This is a must read book for all Americans who wish to remain free Americans. Its message is applicable to all Western countries. I recommend having a supply of anti-acid tablets on hand, for the facts presented will give you indigestion.

...then you'd have 50 million. In the USA it would be closer to 25% of young Muslims who find suicide attacks to be appropriate. That fact reveals the moral bankruptcy of a belief system that does not value the gift of human life. We need books like this. The author paints a grim picture of the dangers we face in the PC world where the ridiculous notion that "they're just like us" is made the foundational principle of our approach to immigration and national security. All belief systems are not the same nor do they produce the same result.

You can't blame Islamic violence on Western imperialism, the Crusades, Israel, colonialism, George W Bush, Iraq, the tooth fairy, or any other non-Islamic factor. There was a river of blood flowing from the heart of Islam before any white man ever set foot in the Hejaz and before the first drop of oil sparked a gleam in a Westerner's capitalist eye. Long before the Crusades or any Western influence exerted itself, Muslims were cutting off heads, obliterating cultures, forcing conversions, enslaving and humiliating women, and doing all of the exact same things they do today. They do these things because violence is endemic to Islam. When Muhammad needed Allah to endorse his tribal conquests in the early days of Islam's bloodbath, he conveniently received revelations exhorting the murder of Jews and other non-Muslims (this also cropped up when the 52 year old wanted to "marry" a 9 year old child, Allah was ready with a new "revelation" allowing it). Of course, when the prophet felt momentarily appeased by the enslavement and subjugation of non-Muslim cultures whose salve-tax his people clearly depended on to keep from having to actually produce or invent anything, he, uh, I mean, Allah, wrote passages that reflected his sentiments. So if you want to kill, it there in Quran (in abundance) and if you don't then that's there too. The prophet had a verse ready for whatever your pleasure. And so the cancer spread and obliterated the cultures of the Middle East, once the incubator of Christianity. They don't hate and kill because of Israel or the Palestinians or the Crusades or Iraq; they hate and kill because it is endemic to Islam and they have always done so.

Many have sensed that there is a "Storm" coming to America. This is FINALLY the book that gives clear definition as to the coming storm.

Although this book does not present the increasing natural disasters/destructions leading up to the final storm, this certainly portrays carefully documented evidences of what we will soon see...unless the "Church" in America finally truly and deeply responds in humility and the brokenness of obedience to 2 Chronicles 7:14: "If MY people will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, THEN will I hear from heaven and forgive their sins, and heal their land."

It is well document from George Barna's sources that there is no practical difference between those who CALL themselves Christians and those who do NOT. American Christianity MAY be already in the midst of the "great falling away" that Christ told us to anticipate, before the end would come.

David Wilkerson foresaw and foretold in his book, "The Vision" (of America's future, except she repent) 34 years ago in March, 1973. Jeremiah prophesied for 40 years of Israel and Judah's coming destruction, which ultimately was fulfilled because God's people THEN did not listen either. Perhaps we have less than 6 years of increasing natural disasters and potential minor terrorist activities, until our final day of destruction for this nation.

Read David Wilkerson's "The Vision," then read this book and know that we are not far from America's pride and arrogance being brought low (see Revelation chapter 18, and realize that "Babylon" is the U.S.).

"The Day of Islam" is EXCELLENT and one that everyone in America must read to realize that God has raised up a people more terrible than U.S. to bring strong judgment against the wickedness of, FIRST of all, the "Church" (evangelical) in America, and also the wickedness of a nation (ours), JUST like the nation of Israel as told in the book of Jeremiah many years ago; a nation of people who had turned away from the living God to practice a religious expression of their own that pleased themselves, then rejected and killed the Prince of Peace and Giver of Life. We (U.S. evangelicals) have crucified Him afresh by replacing HIS PASSION on the Cross with all of our own passions, amusements and self-seeking pursuits.

Even the very occasional broadcast or cable news program on the program of fascist Islamists to take over the world, die trying and leave the infidels dead in the wake of the effort cannot hold a candle to the revelations and accessibility of the information contained in this short (212 pp. text) book.

Dr. Williams has well documented, with footnotes, an excellent appendix including the "Nuclear Fatwa" giving permission to use nuclear weapons, weapons of mass destruction, and cause massive collateral damage in furthering the aims of bin Laden (now sometimes calling himself Osama bin Mohammed bin Laden) to decimate all infidels (non-radical-Muslims). It is written in an easy journalistic style that an intelligent 8th grader can comprehend. Anyone who cares about American and the future of Western Civilisation should read this book--twice. Yes, there is a repeat of some information that could have been edited out (probably in a rush to press) but that is the only criticism of a book that is an instant classic. It is not a manual in "how to understand our Enemy in the hope of appeasement" (misguided Liberalism) but a statement of the facts of what we fight for, along the lines of "Why We Fight" of World War II fame. If you care about the outcome of the centuries-old war for control of humanity, you'll read this compelling book.

Includes terrifying photos--head shots of many perpetrators and a photo of the welcome sign to Islamberg in Hancock, NY, one of many training sites for jihad warriors ON U.S. SOIL!!!

(Hide Review...)  Eye Opening In the Breadth and Depth of the Threat - Needs Edit

Williams does a great job of collecting and presenting evidence of the threat of a nuclear radical Muslim threat. The volume of data presented by the author is overwhelming, perhaps even overkill.

The basic message-that, a) the fundamentalists are committed to a world ruled by Muslim law, b) the Fundamentalists have or will soon have nuclear weapons and at a time that suits their long term strategy they will use them and c) they have far more resources in the US and in other countries in the western hemisphere than we acknowledge.

Former FBI chief Muller told an independent interviewer that he considers the threat to be very real.

If the Fundamentalists learned a lesson from 9-11 it was to be more realistic in their expectations of reactions. Also given the political victories they have scored in Europe and their success in following Sun Tzu's time tested strategy of separating the population from the enemy leaders, there is no reason to re-unite the enemy by premature use of nuclear weapons at this time.

I have resisted the temptation to toss in a few more stars due to the importance of the subject. The immediate and secondary physical, medical, financial, political and military effects of the first detonation of a nuclear weapon against civilian target, in a world with many nuclear powers, is almost too scary to contemplate. Forget about the gory discussions of what happens at ground zero, the hundreds of thousands of casualties and chaos, the really scary effects are the secondary effects which could lead to a regional or perhaps intercontinental nuclear war.

The author does a very good job of looking at the threats posed by the vast scale of corruption within the former Soviet Union as a source of nuclear material, if not bombs, and the parallel threat posed by our porous northern and southern borders. Give the thousands of tons of illicit drugs that come over the southern border from a totally corrupted neighbor and badly corrupted US Customs the threat is huge. The author also reminds us that the vast Canadian border leads from a country that seems to be uncaring about who arrives and thus presents a very real threat.

Those who deny the war ( now in its 11'th year since Bin Laden's formal declaration of war) is a global struggle should find the book enlightening. The author, no fan of George Bush, makes a convincing case that this is a war of survival against a very dangerous adversary.

The book has a rushed, unedited feel to it. This alone detracts from the message. Hopefully the author and publisher will take some time to polish the work for a revised edition in the very near future. The book and subject are too important to neglect. Notwithstanding these defects it is a worthwhile read.

Finally the gathering encirclement of Israel should frighten the entire "free world" because the fall of Israel will remove the major restraint on the use of nuclear weapons and setoff further chaos in the middle east.

Read alone this book would leave most packing for a lifetime trip to Montana or some other obscure place. The volume of data presented by the author is overwhelming, perhaps eveh overkill. None of this reduces the threat as a nuclear weapon discharged anywhere on the planet could lead to a spiral without end.

I doubt that they have the depth of an arsenal that the book would lead one to conclude and the initial target may be someone other than the US. None of this reduces the threat as a nuclear weapon discharged anywhere on the planet could lead to a spiral without end.

The book spends a significant amount of time discussing backpack nukes and the claims of those who believe they do not exist. One only needs to see the 30 year old nuclear artillery shells to understand that stripped of the high g protection, shell casing and fuse mechanism that a lightweight nuclear device existed many years ago.

The book has a rushed, unedited feel to it. This alone detracts from the message.

It is a worthwhile read but with some reservation. Other books are probably a better place to start such as Nuclear Terrorism, The Ultimate Preventable Catastrophe.

Knowning the content I would purchase it again but with more reservations.

Textual corruption of the Bible is not only Muslim/Qur'anic position but top learned Christian scholars, who are not blinded by their fundamentalist doctrines, admit and ascertain to this historic fact (e.g. Misquoting Jesus: The Story Behind Who Changed the Bible and Why (Plus): by Bart D. Ehrman and The Cross & The Crescent by Jerald Dirks).

That said, to say that Muslims do not believe in Jesus is a blatant misinformation. Islam happens to be the only none Christian faith on the face of the earth that makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus. Muslims believe in his miraculous birth (i.e. without any male intervention), they believe that he gave life to the dead (by God's permission) and healed those born blind and the lepers (by God's Permission), they believe (on the bases of the Qur'an) that he was the Messiah (translated: Christ - not God; word `Christ' only means anointed/appointed, in this case, by God to deliver his message to the Jews). Muslims don't hate Jesus - quite the contrary; they love and revere Jesus Christ, so much so that unlike modern Christians, you'll never hear the name of Jesus from a Muslim's lips without the suffix `peace be upon him'. Qur'an claims to be the continuation and correction (from human corruption), of the same message of God delivered by all the prophets including Abraham, Moses and Jesus. Muslims truly go beyond lip service and practically follow him (if you could observe them closely in their daily life and look beyond the rampant political Islam-bashing going on in the west these days) e.g. their greetings `AsSalam-o-Aliqum' (Translated: `peace be upon you') is word-for-word the same as Jesus used to greet. They pray like Jesus (e.g. in the Garden on Gethsemane); falling on their faces in humility. Instead of following Paul, Muslims take Jesus' words at face value. Following on Jesus' words (Mat 5:17-20) they don't eat pork, are circumcised and keep the law and commandments of God just like Jesus did and preached to his followers. Simply put, Muslims pray and follow the God of Jesus Christ.

What Muslims don't accept is that Jesus was God and that he died for anyone's sins. Both these ideas are later innovations and would have been repugnant to Jesus in his own time. He never claimed `I am God' and he never said `Worship me' - on the contrary he said `my father is greater than I (john 14:28); my father is greater than all (john 10:29); I can, of my own self, do nothing (john 5:30).

Dying for someone else's sins and getting punished for someone else's crimes is unjust even from human imperfect standards (no civilized people ever allow that) and diametrically opposed to The Justice of God and His teaching. I give you Ezekiel-18 as my supporting evidence on this point.

What are the terrorists doing, where are they training, how are they training, and where are they training. If this book doesn't absolutely shock you, nothing will. Williams has documented all the above in this book. Make no mistake, the terrorists want nothing less than the complete destruction of western civilization and are preparing to carry out their threat, all for their vision of people following the law of Islam and nothing, absolutely nothing less!

Williams has documented evidence of as much as 40 terrorists training camps based in the United States alone and has documented the training activities that take place there - to include gun fire and explosives. He also presents evidence (not proof) that bin laden has already purchased uranium and nuclear devices and that some of this may already be in position for later use.

I warn you that this is not light reading, this is serious stuff with evidence to back up a great deal of what is said. It will make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. Every citizen should read this book and after reading, I can only hope they will contact the proper individuals and ask why this is allowed to continue. The authorities are aware of the training camps. Unbelievable! Definitely get this book and one other. Get "The Convention" written by Travis which is another book about terrorism, but from a different perspective. It will go together nicely with this book. Don't be deceived! Their great Muhammad has metastasized and is spreading at an alarming rate.

(Hide Review...)  fabulous new book by Williams

I am a fan of Paul Williams. I like his style of writing. His new book, "The Day of Islam," is perhaps his best yet. It's a titanic piece of work loaded with documented information on numerous terrorist activities and peppered with fascinating facts on a wide cast of terrorist characters.

Even though it's a profound topic, it's very easy reading because it's broken into short(ish) segments with irresistable appeal. While each segment is interesting, in and of itself, there's wonderful continuity and Williams is able to weave these vignettes into a dynamic portrait of the true picture of where we are in America today and it's terrifying.

This book is a keeper.

After reading this book, my concerns about nuclear terrorism and the infiltration of Islamofascist operatives into this country are renewed. The author presents his statements clearly and knowledgeably and backs them up with extensive footnoting. For every person who says the premise of this book is fanciful, who would have thought flying jetliners into highrises or blowing up trucks full of fertilzer and diesel in front of government buildings were anything but science fiction prior to the events themselves?

Of particular interest is the information presented on the Latin American connection with Al Qaeda, specifically Brazil, Venezuela, Trinidad/Tobago and Guyana. Sound familiar?

I highly recommend this book to anyone who wishes to have more information and a deeper understanding of how a terrorist network operates.

We have yet another person who has set out looking for Zebras rather than horses.

If Al-Qaeda had the resources to purchase a nuclear weapon from the Russians (consider first, the radioactive decay of a nuclear weapon will tell of its origins, so if they used one, we would know who made it) they would've used those resources to conduct a wider range of attacks.

Moreover, nuclear weapons are not forever. You can't just "build and someday use" such a weapon. They decay and require maintenance. This can't be done at the local Radioactive Shack.

I am far more concerned about a group hijacking a gasoline truck and detonating it on a major bridge or in a tunnel. Consider what kind of snarl and destruction was caused in May 2007 by the accidental explosion of a gasoline truck on a RAMP to the SF-Oakland Bay Bridge. This would create a massive problem and cost the terrorist near nothing.

Moreover, getting "the blueprints" to a nuclear device may be simple. Building an actual device IS NOT. It requires precision down to nanometers. It's expensive and requires extremely trained people.

This isn't rebuilding your dad's old Mustang, after all.

This book talks about the goals of the radical Islamic people to take over the world in the name of Islam. It is heavily influenced by the court testimony of Jamal Ahmed al-Fadl, an al Qaeda operative who defected to the US in 1996 and supplied information regarding the start-up and organization of al Qaeda.

The basic theme is al Qaeda's search for and attempts to obtain weapons of mass destruction, particularly nuclear weapons. A secondary theme is the general viewpoint of disgruntled muslims who are greatly offended by the west, even as they have moved here from their homelands.

Although the book was published in 2007, much of the information is several years old, al-Fadl's court testimony was in 2001, before 9/11. Therefore I can't rate the book at the very top of the list. Yes, it appears that the radical fringe seems to have plans to take over the world, but so did Hitler. Plans don't equal accomplishments. According to the book, al-Qaeda has had nuclear weapons for several years but haven't used them. Why?

The book is a good collection of news articles on the subject. And it makes for very scary reading. I can only hope that it isn't true.
