This book provides an interesting look into the Islamophobic world of Christian fundamentalist ideology. The fact that the back of this book contains a positive review by Walid Shoebat the con man and pretend "former PLO terrorist" (who fleeces money from people to give lectures on his non-existent "PLO terrorist" past and spread hatred of Islam ) is telling in and of it itself.

I'm confused about this book...
Muslims are waiting for Jesus (peace be upon him) as the messiah, who will kill Dajjal (anti-christ). Imam Mahdi is a secondary figure that helps Jesus against the anti-christ. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-07-31 08:55:32 EST)

Joel Richardson has drawn wrong conclusions biblically regarding the coming Anti-Messiah. He and you would be far better served by reading "The AntiChrist and a Cup of Tea" by Tim Cohen, in which, by the way, Mr. Cohen identifies the coming AntiChrist as a living prince of Roman lineage who also happens to descend directly from Islam's Mohammed! Unlike Mr. Richardson, Mr. Cohen offers hard evidence for his views, and is apparently not speculating on this issue of who the AntiChrist will be.... You must read Mr. Cohen's book if you really want to understand this subject! The Antichrist and a Cup of Tea

This is an eye opening book, especially in conjunction with the bood "Politically Incorrect Guide to ISLAM." I read the PIG book first, then this one. Reading both together was amazingly eye opening.

This books presents the coming antichrist in a different light. It teaches that he will be Islamic.
The scholarship, organization, and material is fascinating. It is well worth the read just to understand more about Islamic end time beliefs. It presents the Koran and other Islamic writings in the appropriate light as false. I do not agree with the author though. The Bible clearly teaches that the antichrist will arise from a restored Roman Empire. He will be European most likely. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-07-18 19:56:02 EST)

Its very sad that the a great nation founded on rationality and science such as the US is slipping into a dark age of superstition and xenophobia.
I wonder what Ben Franklin would have made of this book? (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-07-18 19:56:02 EST)

The hand-in-glove fit of Christian and Islamic eschatology is made perfectly clear in Antichrist: Islam's Awaited Messiah. For anyone who understands or desires to understand the end times from a Christian perspective, knowledge of what Muslims await is chillingly essential. Islamic eschatology laces precisely into what Christians anticipate in the end times...only forming the negative side of the Christian eschatological equation. A long needed, and bone chilling expose. Well, well worth the read. It will impact and expand your understanding of end time possibilities.

I find the propaganda in books like this to be disturbing. If you have read the Bible, you know this "rapture" "end of time" stuff is NOT the message Jesus preached. Those who believe it are wasting their time hating instead of following Jesus' command to love one another.
The Bible is not a book of science or prophecy. It is a book of faith by a loving God. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-05-17 08:05:53 EST)

You will realize that the bad guys in the Bible are the good guys in Islam and the good guys in the Bible are the bad guys in Islam.
This book along with Walid Shoebat's "Why I Left Jihad" give such revelation to biblical prophecy and current world events. Astounding. Must read to understand the times we live in now. The Mahdi is supposed to either return as the hidden imam (Sheia) or simply come (Sunni) to bring peace and justice to the earth for a period of 7 years. Jesus Christ will be there to support the Mahdi by doing great signs and wonders. At the end of 7 years, the Dajjal will come to earth to deceive the inhabitants of the earth to cause them to turn away from Islam by doing deceiving works; like causing it to rain in lands that have been in drought and bring forth fruit bearing trees because of the famine. He will ask the inhabitants of the land if they will now believe on Him after doing these deceiving miracles. This Dajjal will also raise people up from the dead, and again ask the inhabitants if they will believe on him. If they still refuse, then they get cast into this river of fire that follows the Dajjal. The story ends with Mahdi beating the Dajjal at Medina. That is the condensed Muslim version of the end-times. The characters to Muslims are: Mahdi: Saviour of the Islam world Jesus Christ: great prophet Dajjal: Anti-Christ Satan is preparing the Muslim world to accept the antichrist and the false prophet even now in their teachings. Satan is already preparing the Islamic world to reject Christ at the end of the 7 year tribulation by teaching now of his coming and saying that the one coming is a fraud, and antichrist, the Dajjal. It use to really puzzle me where the bible says that the armies of the earth will gather to fight against the Lord. I use to wonder "How can this be?" "How can anybody think they can fight against God?" After listening to what Muslims are being taught, finally I understand how people people will actually think they can fight against God. They won't believe it IS God they are fighting. They will think it is the Dajjal, the antichrist they are fighting! Scripture Comparison in the Bible 1- Scripture teaches us that there will be an anti-christ during the 7 year tribulation that will destroy many through peace. Islam teaches there will be a messiah called the Mahdi that will rule for 7 years to bring peace and judgment to the earth. 2- Scripture teaches us that there will be a false prophet supporting the antichrist doing signs and wonders. Islam teaches Isa (Muslim Jesus) will be supporting the Mahdi doing signs and wonders. 3- Scripture teaches at the end of the 7 year tribulation, Jesus Christ will come and establish his kingdom on this earth and he will rule with a rod of iron. He will cast the antichrist and his followers into the lake of fire. Islam teaches the Dajjal will come to deceive Muslims and try to get them to convert to him. Muslims call him the antichrist. Islam teaches at the end of the 7 years the Dajjal will come to this earth as the antichrist and will perform miracles to deceive Muslims, such as: 1a- Bringing rain because of the drought. (scripture teaches that God will use drought as judgment, Jesus restores the earth during this period) 1b- Islam teaches the Dajjal will bring forth fruit bearing trees. (scripture teaches of great famine, Jesus restores the earth during this time) 1c- Islam teaches that the Dajjal will ask the Muslims if they will convert and believe on him after these miracles. (You can make the assumption that people will become believers in Christ during the tribulation, because of various things scripture says along these lines) 1d- Islam teaches the Dajjal will also raise people from the dead and then ask the Muslims to convert and believe on him. (we know Jesus was raised from the dead and the dead in Christ will rise on that day) 1e- Islam teaches that any that do not convert to the Dajjal, the Dajjal will throw them into the river of fire that follows him wherever he goes. (scripture teaches Jesus will cast unbelievers into the lake of fire) 1f- Islam teaches the Dajjal will be defeated by the Mahdi at Medina. We know Jesus defeats the antichrist. So you see that the characters that Muslims think is: (a) Mahdi the messiah that rules for 7 years, is actually the antichrist (b) Isa is the false prophet (Isa-Muslim Jesus whom Muslims consider to be ONLY a great prophet, but not greater that Muhammad) (c) Dajjal the antichrist, who comes at the end of the 7 years is actually Jesus Christ. WHEN you see the black flags feverishly waving in the air, you had better run as fast as you can. As Sheikh Kabbani stated: "Hadith indicate that black flags coming from Khorasan will signify the appearance of the Mahdi is near!"
God help us! We're heading for a serious dilema; none that we've ever read or seen in past history. The Bible foretold us and gave us clear warnings AND indications (symbols) of the radical Islam religion. Joel Richardson's extensive studies in both the Qur'an(with the Sunna/Hadith) and the Holy Bible shows that he sees the remarkable parallels of both the antichrist (Ad Dajjal) and the false prophet described in the Holy Bible and the Qur'an (w/Sunna & Hadith). There is a strong description of the antichrist in Joel's book, which has been defined by Jesus Christ in Matthew 24 and described by John in Revelation 13 and Revelation 20. As I write this review, I see the changes in communication between Saudi Arabia, USA and Rome (Vatican), all after the USA president left Jerusalem. Richardson did a great job interpreting scripture and presented just about every passage in way that made me feel that we are like-minded individuals with a common force driving us. I'm not ready to commit to this idea that Richardson lays forth due to my objection to the way he interprets the 7th and 8th king of Revelation 17 and a few other things, but I believe that Antichrist: Islam's Awaited Messiah is a book that every follower of Christ should consider reading because of the times we live in, and in order to understand the satanic enemy that we are dealing with. They hate America, Jews, Christians and the one true God, Jesus Christ.

A time will come when a charismatic Muslim leader will emerge along with a blaspheming "miracle" worker who will claim to be Jesus. This Muslim Mahdi will unite the Arab nations in this Antichrist system (Islam).
Islam's "holy" book, alone in all world religions, goes out of its way to tell lies about Jesus and His Gospel. Islam not only rejects Jesus as God's Son, but Islam lies about Christ. Islamic imams have been lying about the Gospel of Jesus for centuries. These wicked men have Muslims convinced of their lie that the Gospel of Jesus has been changed. Ask an imam; "changed when, how, or by whom?" - and you'll receive a blank stare. Christianity predates Islam by almost 500 years. Muhammad died in 632 AD. Genuineness of the Gospels "They" could not have changed the Christian Gospels after Muhammad, since there are 5,735 (Welte, 2003) manuscripts of the whole or part of the Greek text of the New Testament (Injil) pre-dating Muhammad still in existence. Worldwide, there are 24,800 copies of these original manuscripts. These include the Codex Vaticanus (325-350 AD) located in the Vatican library and the Codex Siniaticus (350 AD) located in the British Museum. There are also 80,000 quotations in the works of early Christian writers which are so extensive that the New Testament could virtually be reconstructed from them without the actual New Testament documents. Then there is the obvious fact that the Christian Gospels were so widely distributed both before and after Muhammad, that any attempt to change (add/subtract) something in the Christian Gospels would have resulted in immediate discovery and condemnation. Additionally, the New Testament was handed down from apostolic times and its genuineness was guarded by Christian churches, and it was zealously watched by enemies of Christianity. A very wide protest would have resulted from both sides were it tampered with. Likewise, the Septuagint edition of the Old Testament was always in the hands of both Christians and Jews, both rivals in religion. Any attempts to change this by either side would have been vigorously attacked. Islam and its lies is Antichrist... Read "Islam in the end times" by Ellis Skolfield. Daniel 12:11-13 points to the Muslim "Dome of the Rock" as the "abomination of desolation". (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-12-21 08:16:53 EST)

This book represents a new proposal (so far as I know) regarding the shape of the end-times. Previous scenarios from a pre-mill perspective have tended to focus on the Antichrist as having some ruling power in connection with the European Community which then grows into a worldwide dictatorship. Here the author suggests that the biblical scenario is more consistent with the picture given in the Islamic traditions, where the author proposes that the Islamic Mahdi fits the biblical picture of the beast/antichrist of Revelation 13 and the Islamic Isa fits the false prophet of Revelation 13. Students who are interested in correlating end-times prophecy with current events should have a look at this book. I found his proposals fascinating.

Just a tiny News flash: 1. There is one god in Islam! 2. mohammad,Jesus, Moses,David (and others) Peace Be Upon Them are messengers of Allah. 3. Islam was spread by the sword? Islam is one of the fastest growing religions in the world, TODAY. 4. Allah is not the God of Muslims only. He is the God of all people and all creation. 5. The Islamic concept of God is that He is loving, merciful, and compassionate. But Islam also teaches that He is just and swift in punishment. Nevertheless, Allah once said to Prophet Muhammad, "My mercy prevails over my wrath." Islam teaches a balance between fear and hope, protecting one from both complacency and despair. 6. Muslims neither worship Muhammad nor pray through him. Muslims solely worship the unseen and Omniscient Creator, Allah. and the list goes on and on!

The information in this book agrees well with the information I have read from both Islamic and Christian sources. Of course with the thousands of experts on both sides there will be disagreements from both sides. I picked this book up on Friday night and finished it the first time Saturday afternoon. It is captivating to see how the worlds two largest monotheistic religions have so much in common belief about the end times however the main three players in the end times have opposite rolls. The 'Islamic Jesus' cleared up for me how apostate christanity could join with Islam to form the last world order before the true Christ returns to fulfill the Biblical prophecies. While you may not agree with all of the theology, he gives forth a very plausible end times view.

Within the Shiite Sect, (which is predominate in Iran), it is prophesied that there is a coming 12th Imam who is the great spiritual savior. This Imam is named Abu al-Qasim Muhammad or also called Muhammad al Mahdi. He is said to have been born the son of the 11th Imam, Hasan Al-Askari and his wife, the granddaughter of an Emperor. There are conflicting statements of her name being either Fatima or Nargis Khatoon.
Most accounts of the story say that al Mahdi went into hiding as a child around the age of 5 years (about 13th Century). It said he has been `in hiding' in caves ever since but will supernaturally return just before the Day of Judgment. According to the Hadith the criteria for the Hidden Imam are: He will be a descendant of Muhammad and the son of Fatima Will have a broad forehead and pointed nose Will return just before the end of the world His appearance will be preceded by a number of prophetic events during 3 years of horrendous world chaos, tyranny and oppression Will escape from Madina to Mekkah, thousands will pledge allegiance to him Will rule over the Arabs and the world for 7 years Will eradicate all tyranny and oppression bringing harmony and total peace Will lead a prayer in Mekkah which Jesus will be at his side and follow in Remarkably, the 12th Imam theory plays heavily into the world's current concerns with Iran. The Shiite Muslim President of Iran, Ahmadinejad, is deeply committed to the Islamic Messiah, al Mahdi. There have been many through the years claiming to be the Hidden Imam but Ahmadinejad believes he is yet to come. He claims that he is to personally prepare the world for the coming Mahdi. In order to save the world, it must be in a state of chaos and subjugation. Ahmadinejad claims he was "directed by Allah to pave the way for the glorious appearance of the Mahdi". This apocalyptic directive includes some very scary proclamations. The 12th Imam: Why Is This Especially Important Now? While Christians look for Jesus' 2nd coming, the Jews await the Messiah and Muslims await the 12th Imam. However, of the three, Allah's designated Mahdi is the only one who demands a violent path to conquer the world. Mr. Ahmadinejad, and his cabinet, say they have a `signed contract' with al Mahdi in which they pledge themselves to his work. What does this work involve? In light of concerns over Iran's nuclear capabilities, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has reportedly stated Israel should be wiped off the map. He spoke to the United Nations in September '05. During that speech he claims to have been in an aura of light and felt a change in the atmosphere during which time no one present could blink their eyes. Iran's PM is also said to have spoken in apocalyptic terms and seems to relish conflict with the West whom he calls the Great Satan. This is while he proclaims he must prepare the world for the coming Mahdi by way of a world totally under Muslim control. He is working hard to bring about the world-wide horrors that must be in place for their al Mahdi to bring peace. This notion and goal, along with a violent hatred of infidels, America and Israel reminds us of Biblical prophecies of the coming anti-Christ and the pledges of millions to a deceiving False Messiah who will claim to bring peace. Could this 12th Imam Mahdi and his servant Ahmadinejad spark the last days of the coming true Savior? Here is a book which examines these very current events from the perspective of Islamic eschatology: what many believe is THE INEVITABLE unfolding of EndTime events. The author makes a very good case for understanding the very real conflict between BIBLICAL prophetic truth, ... and the Islamic-agenda in our very day and time. - Read it, ... and then PRAY for wisdom and insight. The author compares end times events of Islam and Christianity side by side, the results are eerily earth shattering. Islam's Messiah is very much like the Anti-Christ. Islam's Jesus Christ is like the false prophet. Islam's Anti Christ is like Jesus Christ. Islam's claims:
1. Their Messiah will make a 7 year treaty with a descendant of the High priest Aaron. 2. They behead their enemies such as Christians(method of killing the 5th seal saints). 3. They seek world domination ruled by their Messiah. 4. They deny the Deity, Incarnation, and death and resurection of Jesus Christ. (In 1 John, this is the spirit of anti-christ). Some rebuttals: 1. The Islamic messiah will demand worship of himself. Rebuttal to above sentence: 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 (God will allow the people to be deceived by the anti-christ) Convincing. Covers Daniel's prophecy about the various empires ruling Israel very well. This may be the real deal. Take it with a grain of salt. (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-10-21 06:14:27 EST)

The reemergence of Islam is something that's caught most of the West by surprise.. and those Christians in the West are no different.
Any examination of history should instruct us that violent Islam is nothing new. What is new though is that Islam is reenergized in a world that now has a Jewish state. The great enemy of Israel at the End Time that the Bible writes about at length has to come from somewhere. And just as the emergence of Israel in 1948 caused a profound re-think of prophecy , so does the emergence of Israel's global nemesis. This book is simply outstanding at doing what so many people are either unable or unwilling to do... look at what Muslims themselves say and believe regarding their own End Time. By simply taking Islamic sources and comparing them to the Bible one finds a glaring match, each side from its own point of view. EVERYTHING Chrisitans find evil in the Antichrist, the Muslims find good in the Mahdi. The Muslims are raised from birth to exalt the AntiChrist. And as Islam spreads around the world, the one-world religion that many Christians thought was some New Age nonsense that would spring from nowhere and then everywhere is nothing but a fantasy. The One World Religion is right in front of us. Our world is at risk and our leaders are clueless. The Leftists are especially clueless... stuck in their 1968 world. They don't realize it's really 622 AD and their time of choosing is coming... Submit to Islam or be killed. (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-10-02 03:50:15 EST)

This should be it. As others have said there are lots of popular books interpreting Revelation and Daniel's vision of the end times hitting the top seller lists, but truth is seldom popular.
The best thing about this book is the lack of speculation on events to come. It simply informs Christians of the parallels between the end times forseen in the Bible and that forseen by Islam. (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-10-02 03:50:15 EST)

This book is the most accurate and logical book that I have ever read about the end times. To all of the Christians that think that "we will not be here to see the tribulation" I have a warning: The devil is extremely clever at deception and lies. It's what he does. The devil has infiltrated the church with the notion that there will be a rapture PRIOR to the Antichrist persecution of the ELECT.(us) The "Pre-trib" rapture theory is the biggest deception of all! After 20 years of HARD study, I believe that the rapture DOES NOT HAPPEN UNTIL AFTER the Antichrist's persecution of ALL CHRISTIANS and JEWS that will not take the mark of the beast. How can anyone read II Thess 2:1 (along with dozens more) and NOT see that? The likes of TBN, HAL LINDSEY, TIM LAHAYE and WALVOORD have sytematically allowed this deception to spread. The devil WANTS you to think that you're "outta here" before it happens. WHY? BECAUSE THE MAHDI WILL HAVE A FALSE PROPHET - A FALSE JESUS performing miracles, even bringing back the dead - the MAHDI when he is shot assumably FATALLY. This will cause the world to "WONDER after the beast". And you - the faithful Christian will fall right into the trap. The real JESUS COMES AFTER the rise of the Mahdi/false (jesus) prophet, after the daily sacrafice is stopped in the Jewish temple that HE SIGNED A TREATY FOR...for SEVEN YEARS. HELLO?? Is the light coming on yet? This is one of the MOST important books to read along with The Rapture Question:ANSWERED! by Robert Van Kampen. Search here for it. It explains in DETAIL the petrib disaster coming to the church, and this book (Islams awaited), fills in ALL of the missing puzzle pieces.
What are you good faithful Christians going to do when a JESUS appears and there is NO RAPTURE?? And this False Jesus explains to the world that we christians HAD IT ALL WRONG that there is NO RAPTURE? I'm here to tell you that there IS a rapture - it's just not PRE-TRIB. VAn Kampen calls it "Pre-Wrath" since we are taken just prior to the destruction of the wicked, Madhi/false prophet following, and all deniers of the real JESUS. This happens at the breaking of the 6th seal. Too much to try and explain here. Buy the book! (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-08-10 08:01:09 EST)

This is a little to realistic. Even if you are not a Christian, don't believe the Bible is 'the word of god' or flat out atheist; this book will care you. Books like 'The Late Great Planet Earth' seem like pure folly but this book is something that is every accurate....which isn't good for the world.

Great book and an eye-opener for people who want to prepare for the anti-christ. The Madhi may well be the anti-christ.

I had heard hints of the similar eschatological events shared by Christianity and Islam and now this book spells them out. The explanation of the dovetailing of the two views is very satisfying. Satan's deception and mimicry presented by Islam is shown clearly in contrast to Our Lord's Biblical account. I might add that this difference shows the mutually exclusive nature of the two beliefs."Love-your-enemy- Christianity" does not fit with "Kill-your-enemy Islam" If you have a Biblical World View, you will find this book indispensable.

Textual corruption of the Bible is not only Muslim/Qur'anic position but top learned Christian scholars, who are not blinded by their fundamentalist doctrines, admit and ascertain to this historic fact (e.g. Misquoting Jesus: The Story Behind Who Changed the Bible and Why (Plus) by Bart D. Ehrman and The Cross & The Crescent by Jerald Dirks).
That said, to say that Muslims do not believe in Jesus is a blatant misinformation. Islam happens to be the only none Christian faith on the face of the earth that makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus. Muslims believe in his miraculous birth (i.e. without any male intervention), they believe that he gave life to the dead (by God's permission) and healed those born blind and the lepers (by God's Permission), they believe (on the bases of the Qur'an) that he was the Messiah (translated: Christ - not God; word `Christ' only means anointed/appointed, in this case, by God to deliver his message to the Jews). Muslims don't hate Jesus - quite the contrary; they love and revere Jesus Christ, so much so that unlike modern Christians, you'll never hear the name of Jesus from a Muslim's lips without the suffix `peace be upon him'. Qur'an claims to be the continuation and correction (from human corruption), of the same message of God delivered by all the prophets including Abraham, Moses and Jesus. Muslims truly go beyond lip service and practically follow him (if you could observe them closely in their daily life and look beyond the rampant political Islam-bashing going on in the west these days) e.g. their greetings `AsSalam-o-Aliqum' (Translated: `peace be upon you') is word-for-word the same as Jesus used to greet. They pray like Jesus (e.g. in the Garden on Gethsemane); falling on their faces in humility. Instead of following Paul, Muslims take Jesus' words at face value. Following on Jesus' words (Mat 5:17-20) they don't eat pork, are circumcised and keep the law and commandments of God just like Jesus did and preached to his followers. Simply put, Muslims pray and follow the God of Jesus Christ. What Muslims don't accept is that Jesus was God and that he died for anyone's sins. Both these ideas are later innovations and would have been repugnant to Jesus in his own time. He never claimed `I am God' and he never said `Worship me' - on the contrary he said `my father is greater than I (john 14:28); my father is greater than all (john 10:29); I can, of my own self, do nothing (john 5:30). Dying for someone else's sins and getting punished for someone else's crimes is unjust even from human imperfect standards (no civilized people ever allow that) and diametrically opposed to The Justice of God and His teaching. I give you Ezekiel-18 as my supporting evidence on this point. (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-06-25 08:23:18 EST)

This book gives fresh insight into bible prophesy.
And with every day we see things in clearer focus. Joel lays it out in black and white and sounds the trumbet of alarm. I strongly recomend this book to anyone with a heart like the prophet Daniel who wanted to know the things that would come and how they pertain to God's people Israel and the Church. Some of the information Joel Richardson provides is of use. But his theology is all wrong. Born again Christians will not see the Wrath of God saved for the nations. We will be raptured before the tribulation.

I have just finished reading this book and I found it to be very direct and extremely well researched. I can agree with all that Joel Richardson claims in his book through his extensive study of Islamic and Biblical prophecy regarding the End Times. The parrallels drawn between Christian and Islamic eschatology are extensive, but I feel that one thing must be mentioned here. That being that although there are many examples of why the author has come to his conclusion, (as in the title statement, Antichrist, Islam's Awaited Messiah), we must keep in mind that this is purely the authors conclusion in respect to his research on the subject.
Many years ago (in the 70's, 80's and 90's) most who studied eschatology were of the opinion that the Antichrist would rise through Europe.(this is also mentioned in the book). I am not saying that the author is incorrect. many books come out due to the times we are living in but what we should view as truth is what the scripture says on the subject. Having said all of that, I think this book is a great read and is very useful for the information it relays at the least; but should be viewed as the authors opinion rather than fact. Joel Richardson has written one of the most powerful books in recent times, as it deals with Islam and the West, and in particular Christians. He is very well versed in the Qu'ran as well as Islamic culture, and his book is very balanced, fair, and informative. There are many chapters devoted to the "End Times" scenario, and Joel not only examines the Biblical account but he compares it to the Islamic account as well. And let there be no mistake about it - he is right on the money on most counts. There is no force in the world today which can replace what Islam represents, as it deals with the Anti-Christ. The author even devotes a number of chapters to what may be criticisms of his book, by honestly pointing out some discrepancies towards what others have written, but he quickly sets the record straight and answers these same objections. Then he devotes some material to what Christians should be doing to prepare for martyrdom, as well as listing current resources and mission groups who are ministering to the Muslims in the world.
This is a book filled with love towards the Muslims, and not a bashing of their religious faith. The fact that it flies in the face of Christian eschatology is unfortunate, but true nevertheless. It is compelling reading and a book which should be read by all vigilant and thinking Christians and non-Christians alike. The chapters Joel Richardson devotes to what appears to be the last 30 years of prophecy within the evangelical church, or what has passed as prophecy is well worth the price of the book, and as others have pointed out, the sad part about this whole new paradigm, is that the Church of Christ have been looking in the wrong place for the wrong things to occur, instead of looking directly at the prophecies which are crystal clear as it concerns Islam and the awaiting Messiah they are looking for. Highly recommended!!! Should be given at least 10 Stars!!! (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-05-09 09:37:08 EST)

This book only serves the vested intrest of the bigoted and racist mind who already have streortyed negative images of Islam, muslim and the Holy Prophet. For instance, all these so called reviewers who have highly praised the author, fail to read the Holy Quran and get an idea of its peacefulness from teachings like being kind to parents, strangers, to charity to personal struggle for betterment in this life as for others. God save the world of this idiot and his blind followers.

I keep up with most of the various books out there on Biblical prophecy, but this book is hands down the best one to date. Joel's writing style is very easy to follow and more than any other book that I have read, he gathers all of the data together in such a way that leaves little room for doubt as to his interpretations. What is so interesting about this book is that Joel discusses the Islamic beliefs about the end of the world and compares them what the Bible says about these things and shows dozens of amazingly specific parallels. He shows how Muslims have been set-up to recive the Antichrist wehn he comes. One thing that I appreacited is that Joel doesn't pass on the many of the disproven ideas that several other prophecy books are still passing along. Such as the idea that Gog and Magog is lead by Russia. Or that the Antichrist will be European. Give me a break. Europe is dying and being taken over by the Muslims as we speak. When one reads too many of the popular prophecy books out there, they all seem to repeat the same old claims, as if no one ever really questions thier validity. But when you actually get out the Bible Dictionaries and Commentaries, we are directed not to Russia, but to the modern day nation of Turkey. So I deeply appreciate that Joel didn't pass on these mistakes. I've handed out several of Joel's books to my pastors and friends and they have all been amazed. Recieves my highest recommendation.

Or that the Antichriost will be European. Give me a break. Europe is dying and being taken over by the Muslims as we speak. I have been interested in, and have studied end time prophecies for years. Many of the issues that I struggled with were suddenly clarified by this book. I found it fascinating, and have recommended it to several friends. I have also passed it to several pastors for their imput. This is a must buy for anyone who wants a "deep dive" into Revelations.
