This book is filled with quality knowledge about bowmaking that makes this sometimes onerous task look easy. Primitive technologists beware...while this book will show you how to build a traditional bow, all of the tools and methodologies are (for the most part) based upon usage of modern implements. This book also includes a quality second half strictly devoted to arrowmaking. Again, his materials are all traditional but constructed with modern tools. I think Jim wrote this book and had it published before he got involved with The Bowyers Bible series. A must have, must read!!!
