Secrets of the Millionaire Mind reveals the missing link between wanting success and achieving it! Have you ever wondered why some people seem to get rich easily, while others are destined for a life of financial struggle? Is the difference found in their education, intelligence, skills, timing, work habits, contacts, luck, or their choice of jobs, businesses, or investments? The shocking answer is: None of the above! In his groundbreaking Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, T. Harv Eker states: "Give me five minutes, and I can predict your financial future for the rest of your life!" Eker does this by identifying your "money and success blueprint." We all have a personal money blueprint ingrained in our subconscious minds, and it is this blueprint, more than anything, that will determine our financial lives. You can know everything about marketing, sales, negotiations, stocks, real estate, and the world of finance, but if your money blueprint is not set for a high level of success, you will never have a lot of money—and if somehow you do, you will most likely lose it! The good news is that now you can actually reset your money blueprint to create natural and automatic success. Secrets of the Millionaire Mind is two books in one. Part I explains how your money blueprint works. Through Eker's rare combination of street smarts, humor, and heart, you will learn how your childhood influences have shaped your financial destiny. You will also learn how to identify your own money blueprint and "revise" it to not only create success but, more important, to keep and continually grow it. In Part II you will be introduced to seventeen "Wealth Files," which describe exactly how rich people think and act differently than most poor and middle-class people. Each Wealth File includes action steps for you to practice in the real world in order to dramatically increase your income and accumulate wealth. If you are not doing as well financially as you would like, you will have to change your money blueprint. Unfortunately your current money blueprint will tend to stay with you for the rest of your life, unless you identify and revise it, and that's exactly what you will do with the help of this extraordinary book. According to T. Harv Eker, it's simple. If you think like rich people think and do what rich people do, chances are you'll get rich too! |

This is a fabulous book that challenges false perceptions about wealth and money. Even if I don't end up a millionaire by following the suggestions in this book, just having read it has been a worthwhile growth experience!

Secrets of the Millionaire Mind is one of the most powerful audio books I have ever listened to!!!! The author is clear cut, in your face, and to the point. He points out that the difference between rich people and poor and middle class is a matter of mind set. Most people will not become wealthy becaust they feel they are not worthy, and also due to their financial blue print. The author shows you how to break through these self destructive thoughts.
This book is the GEATEST!!!!!! (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-07-31 11:14:18 EST)

I found this book very helpful. It made me question my views about money and wealthy people. I was very open to change when I read the book, so I was willing to look into myself and see which principles applied to me and sometimes to my friends. Keep in mind that this book focuses on your thinking which defines your money blueprint. In other words, it focuses on changing your money blueprint starting with your mind. It is not a book that lists specific businesses to invest in, etc. After reading some of the negative reviews, I suspect that some of the readers were looking for such specifics. However, the title and subtitle of the book both identify the book as a guide for our minds.
I recently attended Harv's Millionaire Mind Intensive seminar with my sister. It expands on the books principles with exercises and presents more principles not mentioned in the book. It was very informative. My sister and I learned a lot about ourselves. It encouraged me to implement some changes in my life that will be very helpful. Also, I can now identify poor mentalities from wealth mentalities within myself and in others. Some of the negative reviews of this book really demonstrated poor thinking. On a positive note, there were some really good books recommended in the negative reviews, I would recommend reading all of those books including this one. You can expect this book to start the change and improvement in the roots (your mind) of your tree which in turn will improve the quality of your fruits (your results). It will at least get you thinking about your actions and your thoughts towards wealth. I would also recommend that you attend the Millionaire Mind Intensive seminar. Be open and ready for change at the seminar. It will help, if you allow it to. If you don't have a reference number in your book to attend, use 638333. As a professional in the financial services sector, I purchased this book for one reason and one reason only. But, the lessons in this book go far beyond anything one might imagine if the title alone were a guide in your decision to read and/or purchase this book. Do yourself a favor. Buy and read this book, and then buy a few more for you closest friends. It is that good!

I promise if you are determined to make a change in your life... and have the courage to be rich: BUY THIS BOOK NOW. Yes, being rich takes courage... a lesson I'm learning now :) Good luck and see you see you at the top! (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-06-06 03:03:22 EST)

"It all comes down to this: if your subconscious "financial blueprint" is not `set' for success, nothing you learn, nothing you know, and nothing you do will make much of a difference." ~ T. Harv Eker from "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind"
How's your financial blueprint? Don't worry, I didn't know either until I read T. Harv Eker's great (and surprisingly funny!) book. If you're committed to creating financial freedom (who isn't?) then my (strong) recommendation is that you add this to your must read (or must re-read as appropriate). The book's full of Big Ideas--from defining financial freedom, learning to play to win (vs. playing not to lose) to seeing how the size of your character determines your response to various sized problems. What you'll see is that T. Harv believes strongly in the fact that "Your inner world reflects your outer world" and dedicates a great deal of the book to teaching us how to change our thinking--to re-program ourselves to think and act like rich people do. If you're looking for a motivational approach to getting your finances in order, you'll dig the book. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-04-26 03:03:27 EST)

The only way to success or wealth is the way of 'knowledge how' and not mere 'knowledge that'. The rich people have almost the same practice route which in almost all cases is reversible and which sustains no matter who follows it, provided it is followed as it is or made better. This is what Mr Eker clearly proved in his book.
Just as the bible is to Christians because of its detailed information as regards the things to be done to be saved, The secret of the millionaire Mind is the most detailed book I have ever read about the things to be done to be saved from the net of poverty into the ocean of wealth. Another book that has almost the same power is THE RICHEST MAN IN BABYLON The secret of the millionaire mind is a book everyone who wants to be rich and remain rich has to read and with maximum commitment too. For me, it could be better called the 'business bible'. Just as he was told, I tell all who will read this book that rich people are committed to their engagements. This is one of the best books I've ever read. Mr. Eker spells out the power of production and manifestation in easy to understand language. His principles, whether he is aware of it or not, closely mirror many of the spiritual premises that can be found in The Spoken Words of Spirit: Lessons From The Other Side. I've recommended this book to many of my friends, family and more.

This is a good book to read if you want a little bit of inspiration. But it won't actually tell you how to become a millionaire. It doesn't really even tell you any "secrets". Part of the reason the book is insightful is because the so-called secrets are really just common sense things that you don't often think about.
I read this book, enjoyed it, and then went on with my life. If you truly want to be rich, there's a very simple formula. It's not very sexy, but the reality is: SPEND LESS THAN YOU EARN. Most people acquire wealth by increasing their earnings and decreasing their consumption. For one, you can start by saving the $10.00 you would spend on this book. Check the book out from your local library (free) and then use that $10.00 to buy a share of stock. A lot of wealthy people don't live glamourous lives, but while they are driving their 10 year old Honda to Target, their money is stockpiled in an investment fund, earning more money for them. It's true, some people will hit jackpot and make a lot of money during their careers. They will be able to spend big and have a lot left over. But for the rest of us, a little bit of saving can make us a lot wealthier than we are now. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-03-29 11:15:42 EST)

I really enjoyed this audiobook. I do not know if this book will help me in becomming a millionaire, but there are very good hints and tips in this book. The chapters which gives you information about how to look on your financials, how to split the monthly income in different buckets with clear purposes and the clear explanations about the passive and active income I consider them very valuable.

I have read this book several times and will continue to read it again and again until it all sinks in--and all of my thoughts, feelings and desires are put into action! This reminds me of the book, The Secret, but for business minded folks! Its powerful and easy to read, in no time I was repeating the mantra of T. Harv Ecker, "I have a millionaire mind", only I took my new-found learnings and changed it to "billionaire mindset". This is the power behind the book, it helps to change your thinking. Ecker is an amazing mentor who offers some valuable insight into how the poor, the middleclass, and the rich think. Of course you may think you already know, but really you have no idea. Ecker will show you how to unlearn everything you know or ever thought about the rich and shows you how to reprogram your way of thinking. And very soon you too will have a millionaire mindset and maybe even one day a d billionaire mind!

Other self-help programs tell us to think "wealthy" to achieve wealth; this book gives seventeen comparisons between "wealthy" thoughts and "poverty" thoughts. A must read/study for anyone desiring to be wealthy.
Although the books discusses wealth in terms of money, I believe the principles apply equally to wealth in other areas of our lives also.Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-03-13 12:38:28 EST)

Pros: this book is actually quite inspiring. There are quite a few things said in the book that have made me thinking.
Cons: 1. No joking, if on every other page, you find the author didn't mention his great seminar/tape/book, I'll give you a dollar. IT IS JUST TOO MUCH!!! 2. It is true action leads to result, but many of you must keep this in mind, 90% of business fail during the first year; 5% fail during the next 2; only probably 1% survive, if that. 3. Getting rich is hard work - even for Hally Barrie. If you are not willing to put down your time, energy, your health (very often), you CANNOT become rich by just taking actions. 4. Save the get rich fast speech, please. Network marketing? Really? Are you kidding me? If the author could balance out the cons, which are easy to fix, I would rate this book at least 4 stars. T.Harv Eker spends too much space upselling when the reader is expecting to be learning. If one is able to disregard this weakness, the remainder of the book is essential material. T. Harv Eker does a good job of teaching the reader how to think as a millionaire thinks, which is crucial to anyone aspiring to create significant wealth.

Have you ever wondered why some people become millionaires and some people just can't seem to dig out of their financial rut? Judging by the sheer number of people who purchased Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by Harv T. Eker, I'd say there are a lot of people who are definitely curious.
I was intrigued by the title because I realized that millionaires were obviously doing something I wasn't. The subtitle is: Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth. I'm a big believer that abundance and wealth are inside jobs. If you don't believe you're wealthy on the inside, you won't see it or achieve it in your outside world. Harv Eker writes to us, the readers, knowing that if we aren't where we want to be financially then we're sabotaging success and wealth from a much deeper subconscious level. He likens it to having an "inner thermostat" that's set for reaching only a certain level of success and money. The entire premise of this book is that you have a financial blueprint that you've been following since childhood. If your financial blueprint isn't set for success - nothing you know or do will make much of a difference. Secrets of the Millionaire Mind is divided into two parts: Part One: How we think and act about money. He begins exploring the money messages that begin in childhood. Harv's premise is that thoughts, negative or positive, lead to actions and your actions create the results that you're currently experiencing in your life. To achieve wealth, you have to understand and get a grip on your consistent thoughts. It's about revising your mind's money file. I agree with him 100%! Part Two: Rich people talk, think and perceive differently than those who aren't rich. Millionaires view the world as having more than enough for everyone - there is no sense of "lack" in their consciousness. The middle class focuses most of their energy on trying to increase or keep the status quo of what they already have. The poor lament about getting by and hoping to make ends meet. Can you see how the inner thought patterns are fundamentally different? Harv Eker makes a few things perfectly clear in this book: 1. Use what works for you and throw away the rest. 2. Your income can only grow to the extent that you do. 3. 80% of people are never as rich as they'd like to be I was never bored with this book. There are scenarios to illustrate key points, activities to reinforce key concepts and declarations to affirm your millionaire mind. I also enjoyed his use of humor along with his seriousness. Secrets of the Millionaire Mind can get you motivated and moving only if you truly desire to change. To me, it is more motivational than educational. It helps you search for answers as to why you may not be where you'd like to be financially. If you're looking for a nuts and bolts book on finance, this is not for you. All in all, if you're looking to change your mind-set and internal programming toward greater wealth, this book is a great start. After reading this book, you'll probably be saying, "I have a millionaire mind!" (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-02-18 03:09:22 EST)

I bought 'Secrets of the Millionaire Mind' by T Harv Eker as a Christmas gift for my husband. It sat on his bedside drawer for 2 days. I thought I would just have a 'lil peek' at the introduction... and I got hooked! Couldn't put the book down! It was so good, I had to order another copy and both my husband and I studied this gem like mad!
It has changed our understanding of money and uncovered our deepest thoughts about how we felt about money and how we treated it. We now have re-programmed our money blueprint and have new files to run from. And now money seems to be running straight to us rather than away from us! I see this as a Millionaires Manual to Success - all you need to do is learn and apply what Harv says in this book and you are half way there! Harv shares some of the greatest secrets about wealth creation that people pay hundreds and thousands to learn - and you have it all here in one package! If you are either fighting with your partner about money... or worrying about money... or ALWAYS in debt, maybe all of the above??? GET THIS BOOK! It will change your life forever. This book is the foundation of building wealth. There is no doubt that we all have a financial blueprint. T. Harv presents the material in a completely logical manner. This book is about the psycology of wealth building, for people who want to set their mind to wealth building, keep wealth, and keep growing wealth. Very powerful book. I particularly like his comparisson of "declarations" to "affirmations" - he is right on the money. This is not a book that will tell one how to build a business, where to buy supplies for the business and how to hire employees. It will teach one how to think successfuly and how to set one's mind frame to succedd in any business one undertakes. Too many people work their hinies of, practice their affirmations every day, and never seem to succeed because something always happens. This book will reset one's financial blueprint to succeed.

The book is a great supplement for anyone who feels that that they either need to better realize their financial potential or to just maintain their "money rich" consciousness.
However, as I admit that I don't really know the author very well, he sounds to me like someone that would let his own mother die before he passes up the chance for him to realize a very lucative money venture. Well... that may be a bit extreme.. but you get my point. Actually, after my reading the book I picked up a few pointers about my own attitude with money that I am sure can help me financially grow or at least become unstuck. This book alone is probalby not enough for most people because of something that he actually says in the book. When he says that "money makes you more of what you already are", actually, he should say that people can make money , make them, more of what they already are. Well, I don't think that - everyone does- but, no doubt, many do. He says that money is energy. What does that mean ? How can money alone be energy ? What about the context of money ? Isn't that more important than money itself ? I don't think he thinks so. Definitely read this book if you haven't. But also read the Prosperity Paradigm by Steve D'Annunzio in order to get the big picture and not just lust to be rich. For it is the realization of your soul purpose that will not only make you rich, but happily, lovingly, and peacefully rich. That is what I think is really behind truly successful people regardless of what their "Millionaire Mind" thinks. Just because we have a mind does mean that is what we really are. Like Steve D'annunzio says in his book , "Remember God, Choose Love and Create Value". Then after or before reading Steve's book, read this book to help you better manage your rewards from the value you create by "living your soul purpose" (D'annunzio). This book is just what I was looking for. It is a perfect blend of practical advice on how to manage your money, as well as some good metaphysical concepts about the nature of money. I have already recommended it to 6 other family/friends members, and have given away a few copies as well. I immediately was able to recognize my "Money Blueprint" as the author calls it, and was given information in this book as to how to go about changing it to a more empowering one. I am on my second reading, and plan to take the authors advice of reading it once a month for a year, untill the concepts sink deeply n my subconcious mind! I highly recommend it!

All these guys who write these types of books are hucksters to some extent. That doesn't mean they don't have anything to say. I don't take what this man says as gospel but many of his beliefs reinforce mine. It is important to be positive and to curtail negative thinking as much as possible. I have seen this over and over in the work world. People with positive attitudes climb the ladder while the grumblers and complainers stagnate.
I think its worth reading if only as a good pep talk. I have no plans on making this man my guru or going to his website or buying anything else from him. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-01-06 00:08:51 EST)

This book could not ring any truer. I am almost finished with it and I have never felt more motivated to turn my finances around than I am now. By the third chapter I had opened an investment savings account and now that I am nearing the end I am planning my next big change with my small business. His lessons are easy to follow, a little quircky at times, but they are spot on and I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone as a first read who is planning to get out of debt and start making and saving and becoming the next millionaire. It can be done. Watch me do it.

This has to be one of the most extraordinary books I have ever read. It is well written, easy to understand and cearly illustrates what we need to do if we are serious about changing our present financial position and our life. This book really is a life - changing experience and I highly recommend it. Harv Eker is dynamic in his writng and you can feel the positive energy jumping off the pages at you. I am sure his workshops are a MUST DO and I know that if I lived in the USA I would definately be attending them.

I picked up this book because a colleague of mine said she used it as a blueprint for how she runs her workshops and seminars - which is a topic that I was looking to learn more about at the time.
What I didn't realize is that she meant that - although he holds those types of workshops on building wealth etc., that he didn't really examine this in the book. This book was more for the general public - as more of a "teaser" to the wealth building topics he discusses at his seminars. So I read the book anyway, and I must say that it was well-written and had a few inspiring parts -- but if you buy wealth building books all the time -- then you may not learn anything that you haven't read in 10 other books before. If you enjoy getting a dose of inspiration and motivation from various sources - then by all means - this book is worth buying. (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-12-19 04:11:51 EST)

Only you can make changes in your life! Harv does a great job of calling it like it is and holding you responsible. It is only human nature that people want to blame someone else for their problems, but nothing will really ever change if you do that. Stop making excuses for your failures and "bad luck"!
Money is attracted to the "millionaire mind" that is ready for it. If you win millions in the lottery tomorrow, it will all be lost in a few years unless you are truly prepared for the riches. Chances are you won't win the lottery, so create a real plan for financial success with this book. Do you want to be a millionaire? All you have to do is change the way you think! This can be done, but it isn't necessarily easy to do depending on how you were raised and who you associate with. I really liked this audio book and will listen to it again and again! His personal affirmations are really good and he has a lot of excellent quotes on success. The key is to take action and get started making changes today! The only "negative" is Harv is promoting his own personal coaching services, but that is to be expected from a "self-help" book. Buy this and do what Harv says to do if you are sure you want to be a millionaire! (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-12-18 11:09:43 EST)

I have read all of T. Harv Eker's books and this is my favorite. He has a great understanding of the mind and how it works. I have also attended his Millionaire Mind Intensive and can say that it has truly changed my life for the better.

I found this book to be the most helpful in changing my "Money Mindset". Even more, I highly recommend taking the Millionaire Mind Intensive workshop which deals with the items in this book. The two go hand in hand to improving one's ability to create financial freedom. I am in total agreement with Mr. Eker's philosophy that as we change and recreate our inner world, it will not manifest in the outer world.

This book is the call to action to create your dreams and leave behind old mind structures that keep us locked in where we are. If we want to create a better future for ourselves this is the book to read.
But guess what, reading it, it is only the first step, the next step is take hold of our lives and take action to create our own future. When we do that things do not happen to us, we make things happen. (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-11-07 03:09:18 EST)

I was unimpressed with this book. The basic premise here is auto-suggestion, covered much better by other authors. Think and Grow Rich!: The Original Version, Restored and Revised from Napoleon Hill and The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz are both much, much better books all-around and cover the idea of auto-suggestion. Put the money you would have spent on this book into one of those two books.

eker is like the money drill sgt. he gives examples why poor and middle class people earn the money they earn. and why the wealthy earn what they earn. i have heard this audio book several times sense 2005. it is barely starting to click, or maybe stick. one of my favorite quotes goes something like: we are wired to survive, not thrive. which explains why we let fear run the coarse of our money lives. that is the flight system, not the fight system we have living instead.
