I regret bying this peice. I bought it right when fire red and leaf green first came out. It does not halve the complete walkthrough. It cuts out on the islands, only showing you three of the seven islands. I think it might not even tell you there are seven Islands.Nor does it mention anything about getting ho-hoh, lugia, or deoxys. if you get stuck there, you'd be screwed. you think they put in a few more pages to give you all of the game. by time i got to the end and did not have four islands, i was so mad. And their is a different book which did include them, from a different company. Spend your money on a better product. If you like the pokedex, than buy just a poke dex book.

I bought this book for my son and he really enjoyed reading it becuase he was really into the game he had. It's a good manual if your kids play the game.

My daughter love the whole Pokemon genre, and especially enjoys the GameBoy Pokemon games. She has poured through this book many times already and just loved it. I highly recommend it.

This book is good for a quick walkthrough reference. It's simple to use and does its job well. If you need help with Ruby or Sapphire, I'd recommend picking this up!

Mostly good, but a couple of mistakes. They called Rock-types EARTH Types!, Not the best guide, but Nintendo Power is better!

I purchased this guide for my eight year old son who has spent countless hours reading, memorizing and referencing the data in this volume. It helps him play the game better an I think it is a great disguise for getting him to spend time reading.

There is nothing good about it. I thought it was a rip off.My parents areage.

A very VERY helpful guide. I haven't compared it to other guides, but this one helped me very much in the game. The egg mating area and Pokemon contest area are particularly good. The Move lists and descriptions (contest description included), item list and pokemon list make this guide stand out from the rest. Exceptional and help shows pokemon and items available in each area. Clear and easy to see, the only problem I can ever remember having with it was not being able to find the berry master's house page (But did after not too long a search). A definite recommendation, really made the game much more worthwhile to me.

It gives you information concerning the pok�mon, their evolution and their moves. (which is quite handy when deciding if to let a pok�mon evolve or not!)
There is one downside. The publisher omitted to put in pok�mon from previous games if their move sets had not been changed. (So it's a little annoying when you're training a pok�mon such as vulpix!) But every thing else makes up for that omission. In short, this is great!

THE REASON I RATE THIS GAME GUIDE A 5 IS THAT IT HELPED ME GET REGICE, REGSTEEL, AND REGIROCK AND REYQAZA THE STRONG POKEMON ALSO IT TELLS ME HOW TO DO ALOT. CAUSE OF IT I GOT RAQAZA TO LEVEL 97 AND BLAZKEN TO LEVEL 100 BUT HAVEN'T QUIT CAPTUERED LATIOS CAUSE HE KEEPS ON FLEAING BATTLE. ALSO ANOTHER THING NOT COOL IS THAT RAYQAZA CANT ENTER BATTLE TOWER LEVEL 100. SO THEY NEED TO MAKE A FEW ADJUSTMENTS
