This book is a fantastic read - I read the entire book in one night.

One note of caution - please remember that the book is fiction - it can be hard to remember this because it is presented as a realism fiction of which the underlying story is one that unfortunately happens all too often.

When the book was first showen to me by some very good friends of mine, the expression of excitment and the need to share this book with me was enough to intrige me. I purchased the book and two days later I was finished.

The struggles that was mentioned about the belief of God was well written by the author, the emotions of the father of the child that was killed is all the emotions that we all go though every day of our lives. Believing in God, if there is a God why would He let this happen.

God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is well written about in this book. It truley is a book that is very hard to put down.

As a seminary graduate and a veteran of decades of ministry, I highly recommend The Shack. It is delightful reading and gives clear, disarming theological insights that will shake up traditionalists. It will bring relief to those who have been abused by legalists and institutional religion. Great Reading!

Religion will never, ever, ever be enough to satisfy. Our Heavenly Father is extravagant in His love for us...this book helps answer that (whispered) prayer "God, make this real for me". Enjoy meeting Him again!
