A damn witty dating psychology guide, perfect for streamlining your dating lifestyle; stop over-clubbing, spotting and avoiding getting trapped with the disguised psychos and golddiggers. He gives some great psychological tests and tools to cut to the chase in picking and choosing your women. If you're young and single, or new to the game, you probably consume 20+ hours a week pursuing women, while throwing money around town left and right with little results. Tate shows how to step back, focus, and spend just a few hours a week with numerous potential girlfriends by narrowing down the "interview" process and picking the right girls BEFORE you commit any time or money. A very interesting fresh perspective that challenges and puts the status quo in its place.

Tate clearly could care less about Political correctness and holds nothing back. The book is very engaging, and makes you really step back from all your years of dating and women, and makes you ask yourself "What do I really want out of dating and life, and why?" Then he shows great intellectual solutions to getting more with less effort, and enjoy all your new free time to pursue your other passions and hobbies in life.
This book challenges you to balance and manage your pursuit of women and career more efficiently and really see "how to view dating" in a lens of lateral thinking. The psychology is highly intuitive, never takes itself seriously, and the book is a fascinating page turner. It has great random thoughts and comments about women and life throughout, and some really funny sarcastic comments. Humor only works when it is based on truth, and you will constantly drop this book and laugh and hear yourself saying "that is so true." You literally can't stop picking it up and turning to random pages. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-10-08 01:20:15 EST)

I finally broke down and bought this book after reading many many reviews.I was disappointed overall. The author seems a bit daft. He despises feminists and their fat-headed hypocrisy and anti-male bigotry,a position with which I am in total agreement!!-but he expressess himself in such a nasty angry way he sounds like a nut. His much vaunted humor is overrated,I didnt find it all that funny. Maybe I am a bit dimwitted,(it has been suggested!) but a lot of his PUA advice was either elementary, the stuff you could find anyhwhere,or a bit dumb. For example he says at on epoint to associate with big shots and high achievers as women will be impressed by seeing you with them. What kind of dumb advice is that? "M-m-mister T-t-trump?? Can I,ya know,be witchoo??" he lambastes the state of marriage, but his views get crushed under the weight of his anti-woman vitriol. Can u imagine a guy like, say,Neil Strauss, inveighing against all the fat nasty horrible wives ripping off their dear sweet family loving hubbies?? I am not saying his views arent VALID,he just doesnt have a lot of credibility. This book is for the guy with lots of cash, who lives a certain lifestyle--its not for Everyman. Better yet,its a good book for a teenager! Some compulsive masturbating kid who dreams of endless sex with willing nymphs!! I wish I'd of read it when I was that guy!! Its funny and bizarre, but not genuine PUA stuff IMO. be warned, this book will not change your (sex)life. Recommendation? I jusy got Bandlers new book on NLP,"Change Your Life". Thats a good place to start with PUA! Good luck boys!!!!!

This was the 1st book of the PUA genre that I read, and a good intro. After getting more into the subject I read several other books in the past couple months. This one seems more of a compilation of the others, borrowing HEAVILY from previous works, in fact in many ways a dumbed down (but funnied up if that's a saying) version of Iron John and the Art of Seduction, and many others. Very entertaining and humorous so a great read if you have not read other such books.
There is an informative section on Finances before marriage and international stuff which are the main differences between other books such as this. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-10-06 09:48:00 EST)

While I found the information to be valid, the way the information came across felt like I was back in college being force feed information. Now I'm not sure if Dr. Tate really has a PHD or if it's just a name, but he tries to hard to come off smarter then he really is. Give me a break, people have been dating and reproducing since the beginning of time, it really is a simple process. Dr. Tate managed to take a simple process and make it complicated adding unecessary jargon. I get it you're a Dr. I don't need the why I need the how to. The book is good, has great information, just wish it was broken down a little easier.

Funny, raw analysis. The defensive asset management section is brilliant, the dating guide all true and written tongue in cheek, which makes it so fun to read. Dennis Miller type wit.
In a nutshell, a book about getting laid while protecting your money, but half the fun is reading the cynical observations and rants about wacko women we've all dated at one time. He nails it when he says "Women are entitled to the same amount of respect they give you, and not one ounce more." Gentlemanly behavior prevails with the girls who prove to be honest and trustworthy, (10% of the women), the beeotches can pay for themselves, and should be tossed immediately. Anyone who's studied psychology will recognize how accurate and useful the personality profiling section is. To let you know how good this book is; the girls in my officeI keep hearing girls at work having fire breathing conversations about it. Talk about being exposed. I'm surrounded by female users and scammers on their cell all day working 5 guys at a time. They go around bashing this book and men, and then try to come across as pure as snow. Frankly they revolt me, and I haven't made eye contact in years. I make sure I have my book front and center on my desk when the crew walks by. Every guy needs a copy of this one. Tells it exactly like it is. While very informative, particularly the defensive asset management section, the whole book is written tongue in cheek, which makes it so fun to read. Dennis Miller type wit. For people without a sense of humor (like the metrosexual reviewer below) it will go way over their head.

I purchased this book with the hope that I would learn something about being able to spot female 'hard cases', and get some insight into defensive financial management.
What I got was seriously creeped out by the author, who reads like a frat boy stuck at age fifteen. He's so impressed by his own vision of material wealth as success (referring to Ferraris and stock market success in the way that only someone who has experience with neither can), and even more impressed with himself that all he manages to do is expose himself as a misogynist and most likely a misanthrope as well. I didn't finish the book... the unceasing grammatic errors, sophomoric subjects, and empty self-aggrandisement made me feel like I was reading a high-schooler's set of poorly-written essays. Don't waste your money... get The Game or The Rules of the Game by Neil Strauss, who manages to handle the delicate subject matter with dignity and tact. And don't take dating tips from your little brother who's still in high school and discovering puberty. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-08-12 09:51:10 EST)

The author's advice for the big picture, as he walks you through setting up asset protection pre-marriage in case you pick the wrong girl, is absolutely brilliant. I can easily see this creating a whole movement that could alter the marriage playing field in a hurry. I also recommend the book: I Love You. Now What?: Falling in Love is a Mystery, Keeping It Isn't

A highly charged topic, and sensationally titled piece. The advice works for 14-80 yr. old men. With so many nonsense PUA titles out there, this is intellectually a level higher. No games, pick up lines, or poser stuff. Manipulative Women, feminists and metrosexuals will hate it, because it tells it like it is. The author sees through women with hilarious wit, knows every rope and technique. Written for the Alpha male in a hurry.
It's for the 30ish guy with money who's played the field enough to have seen the highly volatile, immature, selfish, controlling dark side of women, and wants to master speed seduction on his terms. Having complete control of his dating and sex life, while maintaining his assets during his pursuits. Many diverse sections covered; great psychoanalysis of different female personalities; knowing the angles, each girl's quirks and desires. Knowing how the end game will play out before it begins. Knowing when to bail. Like a field general. Great advise on creating a more attractive you, defining your life going forward, rejecting dating hypocrisy. Don't focus so much about getting laid, create the perfect dominant lifestyle for yourself. The sex is just one part of it. Pure alpha, being assertive, dominant, going for who you want, when you want, getting what you want while managing your time, maintaining your sanity, and dignity. The best selling point is his big picture advise; how to set up asset protection long before you take things to the next level with a woman. with divorce rate at 50%+, and the women always winning in court, there's tens of millions of men who would have benefited from the advise but didn't take the opportunity to. This is an ok book on this subject. In some places it just tries to be too smart in desperation. I have read much better dating books. This one is not bad but not too good either. Though I must say that the main difference between this book and others on the same topic is that this book wants its reader to know that a real man wouldnt care less if he goes through extended periods of dateless days. He should have his career and a long list of hobbies to keep him busy CREATIVELY. I couldnt agree more.
Somehow I feel that most men who buy dating books are willing to try too hard with women. It shouldnt even be such a big priority in men's lives. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-08-05 02:56:32 EST)

Seems like this guy has some serious problems with women. First few chapters are simply a rant on the problems arising from feminism in western culture. Later chapters deal with hiding your money and other assets so if you decide to get married (isn't this book about being a lifelong bachelor?) you wife won't be getting her unfair share of your stuff. I'd say half to slightly under 2/3 of this book is useful if you'd like to stay a happy bachelor.
But if you've been burned by women like it sounds this guy has been, buy it. Just remember what the age of consent is wherever you go. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-05-06 01:13:10 EST)

I bought the book and enjoyed reading it.
I will be very brief for other reviews have already mentioned in detail the facts about this book. I like and love women. I found this book insightfull on the other aspects of women we do some times tend to ignore to give thought to... untill it may be too late... I rate it as a must for men to read. For sure you will find some sort of valuable information on what reality, regretably may be sometimes... (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-06-13 15:01:24 EST)

America, a country filled with many people who never learned how to love and relate intimately. It's sad that men and women have come to such disgust with each other that they actually want to take each other for all they can. When you've come to a point that what you want is to 'play' the opposite sex, you'd be better off trusting your hands. Besides, women tend to read more of these books than men do. So there's a reasonable chance, particularly when approaching those you consider bitches anyways, that they already know your cards. If you're that jaded, take a break and enjoy the rest of life. Men, women, purple, or black; we're all humans. We each hurt when taken advantage of. If you hurt this girl, she's more likely to hurt the next guy. Many girls and guys are hurting each other because of emotional baggage they've carried from disengaged families in their childhood. If you try to balance the wrongs with more wrongs, we all continue to lose. Life has joys and pleasures outside of sex and relationships. If you don't want a real and loving relationship, or don't believe it's possible, then find other pleasures. Our nation's children starve for stable, loving homes, with both parents. It's not their fault their parents were jaded from the get go. Either have the strength to try for the real thing or take a break and enjoy something else, don't feed the bad.

Using the search inside feature, I was immediately hooked. You'll find a very funny book dealing with women in a feminized culture, great social marketing advice for pick ups and for dodging the gold diggers and divorce asset thieves. It's light reading, with some seriously wicked LOLs every few pages. Despite having been around the block for two decades, I still picked up a bunch of stuff that I hadn't thought of before.
Dating techniques aside, I bought this book for advice in protecting a large nest egg and big salary. This has very specific information you can custom tailor to your needs, great preliminary reading to set up Asset Protection guide pre-marriage. Almost everyone has heard about the concept, but actually knowing how to set it up is a whole other ballgame. The explanations are very easy to read, without bogging you down with a lot of legalese. It covers multiple scenarios and solutions. From what I've read, you need at least 2 entities, which are surprisingly inexpensive considering the benefits (half your net worth). Whether you have a lot of property, investments, business equipment, high risk profession, or just have valuable toys or investment collectibles, you will find answers to each. In this day an age, a robber could trip and break his leg on your lawn sprinkler and sue you. Even guys with just 50-100K needs this stuff. Another great thing covered here is showing how self-employed men "cram down their salary". Very valuable information, since potential alimony is based on that. Never seen so many typos in a book but it didn't bother me at all. In fact it even works fine within the context of this amazing book. I wish I could disagree with the female assessment however, having had considerable experience in the "Field" myself, I have seen many of these beotches in action up close and personal. I wish I had read it sooner. There is tons of good info in this book. But for me the real selling point is that it is fun as hell to read. I found myself laughing so much that people wanted to know what I was reading. "Oh just this really great book on feminism that points out how awful us men are, in a funny way of course (BARF)".
So don't hesitate to pick this up and very shortly you'll be riding around in an all female drawn Chariot!!! LATER, Gotta go book my flight to Costa Rica!!! (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-04-05 04:04:26 EST)

An intriguing, relentlessly un-PC guide for men looking to bed beautiful women while protecting their nest egg and sanity in the process. A great social marketing guide written tongue in cheek, that could easily apply to the business world as well. Half the time between making some great points, he goes off into observational humor and rants, ripping into anything and everything just for the heck of it. He has these funny "Bachelor Codes", kind of like the man laws, and tons of great quotes from pompous chauvinists in the last century (WC Fields, Jackie Gleason, etc). Cool writing style and personality; intelligent, sarcastic, and cynical. Let's face it, women force men to master psychological foreplay, because they change their own rules and wants daily.
Very effective advice for creating attraction and sexual chemistry with women in the first 15 minutes. Tate takes apart the various facets and nuances of the many different female personalities from a psychologist's view, and tells numerous sneaky, sly, fun ways to get past their psychological barrier breakers with straight forward, easy to understand, do-this, do-that language. The Hedonist: World Sex Guide - Single Male Erotic Vacations in Rio, Costa Rica, Thailand, Carribean and much more is Brett Tate's vacation book for golf, fishing, and women around the world. I picked that up as well and would highly recommend it. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-04-01 00:47:20 EST)

I have read this book twice now, having read a lot on this subject, this is one of the most useful books I have encountered. I was curious I guess, as a reminder of my younger years, and the treatment dished out to me by callous, selfish women hurt me deeply. I am regarded as a good looking nice guy, who works hard, loyal, no addictions or pychosis, practical, country bred values type of fellow. I have had two marriages, where they attacked me with knives, committed adultery, threatened to kill me, tried to isolate and control me, have alcohol, cigarette and prescription drug addictions and bi polar and anorexia. Then to have a court take away my hard earned savings as a reward. And they refuse to take any responsibility whatsoever for their actions. This last marriage has been a living hell of abuse, loneliness, manipulation, that I would not wish on my worst enemy. I will be 50 this year so I did not want my children to go through this hell. Already my two boys have been subjected to degrading manipulation by teenage women at school, so this has provided me an arsenal that my boys are using effectively. I have always suspected the socialist feminists of putting the man into a situation where he is a second rate dog who supplies money. Actually a woman will treat an dog better than her husband. Brett has put a very objective thesis together, that confirmed my thoughts. His experience and cynicism are rightly justified, the whole marriage institution has been manipulated by extremist feminist groups to make weak politicians change laws to the point where marriage, should be avoided like an infectious disease. The modern western woman is a selfish, egotistical, self centred narcissist, who thrive on abusing, humiliating, manipulating men. I found when I worked overseas the women from the pacific islands had a different view on life, they were generally interested in you and just want to enjoy your company, no mind games and no manipulation. I was taken aback when confronted by this view when first encountered.I call it the cleo syndrome, where in the west all men are treated like rapists, show interest a woman and they want to sue you, marriage is an asset stripping device, and a key to wealth for a lazy woman, and all she has to do is have sex and suck a guy into marriage. We had a worksite at a university where a man could not look at a woman for more than 3 seconds or it was a sexual harrasment charge, yet women were allowed to view the worksite for as long as they liked, how insane is that. I can see the end of marriage, and the end to the western woman, so many men are so unhappy, every day I hear of a guy, screwed out of his life assets by greedy and callous women. I look at my mother and she respected my dad, they both worked hard, and prospered together, and have been married 50 years. Why do you think Thailand is so busy, every guy who has gone there cannot wait to return, one guy I talked to about this, will not even talk to a western woman, why bother with the mindgames and grief. This book is a very useful tool to navigate the psycho games women play for sick amusement, it shows you how to peg a woman and put those spoilt, callous, manipulative females back in lonely street where they belong. Take note of what Brett says, it is priceless advise, the only critism is, I would like to have seen some more details on dealing with the woman, examples on what to actually say, rather that general, because I am thirsty for knowledge, and there is no email address to send a big thank you to Brett for a fine job. Good on you mate. My shout for beers if we ever meet.

This book was recommended from a friend, and was everything he said and then some. Every guy with a healthy income and assets should get a copy and take the advice. It's a great primer for educating yourself about all the levels and structures you can set up. Very straight forward, and will save you tons in billable hours by being prepared. Plus this is a great chest thumping alpha book. Tons of great thoughts and lines. Except how to get a girl you should also know how to please her right, because when you catch her you will also like to keep her, that's why I suggest another book that will increase your score with women The Master's Guide to Cunnilingus: How to Perform Successful Oral Sex and Provide the Highest Degree of Pleasure Possible You may say that you know how to please her right but trust me there are always new things to learn. Reading both books you will be able to catch her and keep her wanting more. Highly recommended!

The sub-title "How to Exploit her Inner Psycho" screams buy me and be entertained. It's hilarious and so true. After what I've been through lately, I'd settle for that trait. In the big city I get broadsided within 2 dates with girls that go Outer Psycho, In your Face psycho, Bipolar Alcoholic psycho, girls going Paris Hilton Psycho on me. Geez.
In a nutshell, this book tells it exactly like it is, and gives you the real deal on what always works to pick women up. It took me ten years to figure this stuff out on my own, and there's still a ton of things I picked up in here. In most cases, if you treat women with kindness, and play the compassionate, decent gentleman, it completely turns them off! Also, dropping a lot of money or acting like a real nice guy to them is the kiss of death. Everything women claim to want in men never works. The only way to pick them up is to act like you could care less, and have better places to be, and better options. No compliments, no dinners, no drinks, nothing. Just cracks jokes, smile, and have a lot of attitude. Also, only until you've closed the deal with them a few times can you treat them nice. If that's not Inner Psycho, what is? There are a lot of great LOL raves in here about how immature, self-centered and ridiculous Girls can be in dating. There are great tips on spotting the right girls, and avoiding the lunatics, as well as other good stuff. The overseas vacation guide looks like something I will definitely have to exploit. I've been looking to put together a Costa Rica sailfish vacation with the guys and this has all the travel stuff you need to know in advance, (hotels, customs, currency, airport and cab advice, etc). It covers all the sports available; Golf, fishing, whitewater rafting, diving, surfing, etc., and includes where the local girls hang, or if you're tired of all the drama and just looking for the sure thing, the clubs with pay for play girls. I have some friends who've been to Costa Rica and that's all they ever talk about. I highly recommend this one. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-03-13 13:26:20 EST)

An entertaining book that will give you a few chuckles here and there that is woefully short of specific information in every area except "traveling abroad." Most men aren't going to buy this book to learn about traveling abroad though so that isn't really too useful. I was hoping for some specific ideas on places to meet women, self improvement, ways to handle certain situations etc. but all I really found here were some huge generalities and a few laughs. I have read other books similar to this before and you can tell the author has stripped a lot of the basic information from some of these sources and regurgitated them in a condensed format with humor mixed in. In summary, the book is entertaining, but you if you are looking for a more in depth type of guide that provides encouragement, tips and ideas to help you improve your social skills this probably isn't the book you really want.

A compelling self-defense dating and financial boot camp for bachelors looking for the right girl or three, and avoiding the manipulative trophy girls of the world. An excellent seduction section on psychological profiling of the various female personalities that is spot on, and will have you laughing in stitches when you remember girls from your past. The best section for me was setting up various simple to complicated asset protection strategies to keep from getting your head ripped off in a divorce or lawsuit. A must own for anyone with a healthy net worth.

This book's last 100 pages are a spot on accurate travel guide for the best party cities in the world; it saved me tons of time and money. I just got back from the Costa Rica trip. Man. What an amazing trip! The West Coast of Costa Rica is beautiful. Make sure you skip the cheap Liberia Airport deals you see all over the net. The hotels around there are dumps and the roads....it takes an hour to go five miles. Fly into SJO, and head to the lower beach towns; Jaco is great. It's a local surfer cove crawling with hot latinas. If you're cashed up, stay at the Los Suenos Marriott. It's a stunning 5 star resort with its own golf course. Not too far from the action.

Excellent guide for setting up asset shelters for divorce protection. A must read primer before hitting the law offices. From simple to complex shelters, it's all covered here. In fact, it's better than some of the seminars I've been to. Many strategies I've heard of before, some interesting new ones; this book broke them down and made them simple to understand.
In our lawsuit happy country, and the way so many women divorce guys with money at the drop of a hat, only a fool wouldn't have this set up. It's not expensive; the book shows how you can even set it up yourself. Highly recommended. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-02-10 14:05:26 EST)

"I must create a System, or be enslaved by another woman."
From a personal standpoint, this is a great book because it reinforces beliefs I've had but never knew quite how to put it into action. Tate shows how to keep from being played and enslaved by women in dating and relationships, and how to use time management and efficiency in life to properly balance your social/dating time and your career. It isn't manipulation on the men's part, simply balancing the existing rules so heavily slanted towards women. Once you learn to control your physical desires, and show you are willing to walk from bad behavior, you really can have your cake and eat it too. I love his witty writing style. Most of this book is useless drivel that doesn't follow the books guidance to keep things short and to the point in conversations. By the middle of the book I found it hard to read more than one sentence per page. The chapter on asset protection was interesting, and the only chapter that was reasonably written. The section on personality types was moderately interesting, although way too long. The rest of the book can be summarized in a few sentences:
Most women will try to take advantage of you. Beware. If you are a loser, pretend you are a winner, because women prefer winners. Move to South America or Asia. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-01-25 21:22:28 EST)

Valuable advice on how to pursue speed seduction of women without resorting to buying attention or being played; recognizing the value of the quick release, seeing the right mesh of personalities and interest when it's there. Some psychological lessons in creating emotional attraction, and how to stick up for what you want out of a relationship.
Also introspective analysis and solutions to the twisted gender roles men play along with, which often destroy their goals, dreams, self-worth, asset base, and life in many cases. Sort of a "where you can be, where you should be." In a fun witty fashion, this book teaches you how to approach dating from an entirely different, more effective viewpoint. Definitely recommended for getting the edge. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-01-23 17:10:12 EST)

The first section of this book is a very practical guide for men on how they should behave to attract women. The only advice/order I ever received was "Don't knock anyone up and bring them here," so I was grateful to read something more in this increasingly hostile battle of the sexes.
The middle part lagged for me since it went into great detail about the different types of women and how to seduce them. The financial section, which had some very good points about Asset Protection, was also bogged down by excessive details best handled by attorneys or financial planners. (I doubt that most men reading this book are in the tax bracket that would make such measures necessary: men with money don't have trouble attracting women). The last part was perhaps the most eye-opening. By the end, after learning how to approach, exploit, seduce and abandon women--as well as hang on to everything you own--you can learn about where to go to completely use women as total sex objects. In this book, it focuses on Rio in Brazil, Bangkok, Thailand and San Jose in Costa Rica. Wow. Some good info here. And some a little questionable. The humorous tone would come and go and the book is rife with typos and mistakes. I'm used to circling one or two in the most professional of books sometimes but often I was finding three or four per page. (Also, a "segue" is a smooth transiton from one topic to another while a "Segway" is a two-wheeled transportation device). "Offend her, and she knows not to forive; Oblige her, and she'll hate you while you live" is attributed to two different people on two different pages: English poet Abraham Cowley (1618-1667) on page 145 and Alexander Pope on page 166. Still, I would recommend it for the Nice Guy who's been dumped on enough times. This world and particularly the modern women in it are not very kind to the Nice Guys these days. It took me all of ten seconds to decide to buy this. I need asset protection advice since I'm considering marriage in a year. The book answered all my questions, and pointed out a slew of avenues and possibilities I never thought of. Easy-to-read, an extensive overview of a wide range of strategies for creating a 'safe haven' for assets. It pays to be paranoid. There's no way I'm going to take the chance of being wiped out in a divorce like a lot of my friends were.

I bought this for financial tips and entertainment, and The Game and Mystery Method for PUA. I recommend all three as teaching effective techniques in different ways. Tate's high point was the self-defense Asset Protection, but there's tons of useful dating and psychology advice as well; persuasion tools that can easily be summed up as "Give women what they want." After all, to sum up the chase it really is solely about creating an emotional connection and showing social value. There's pages of great observation humor and rants while learning the skills.
For basically the cost of 2 drinks it's a low risk investment that shields your entire nest egg and fine tunes your Game with the women. Or, ignore the advice and stay in bars till your 80 or married to a cow, or divorced and bankrupt. (Review Data Last Updated: 2008-01-05 03:14:27 EST)

Tate goes to intellectual lengths toying with us with psychological tools and influence techniques. He seduces the reader as having reprehensible intentions. It's wrong, we know it's wrong, and that's why we buy it.
Not so fast. In seeing through easily misread marketing, I found accurate and very effective techniques and persuasion skills that can easily be summed up as "Give women what they want." After all, to sum up the chase it really is solely about creating an emotional connection and showing social value. Reading this book will give you an edge in social skills, it teaches charisma and influence, plus if you're like me you'll laugh your butt off at his observation humor and rants while learning the skills. It's been a while since I've read it (actually, read it twice), but here's what I recall. The beginning was entertaining, but somewhat distubringly harsh towards women and contained little advice. I almost stopped reading.
After that, the book starts to become useful providing general advice and then breaks down women into several groups by their personality and then explains ways to attract them and what to avoid. Haven't really tried picking up a woman based on the books advice in this area so I can't report back on it's usefulness, but most of it seems to make good sense so I wouldn't be surprised if it works. Overall, the general pick up advice seemed decent, but I've seen a decent amount of it online over the years, although I'm sure that's true of most books in this field. However, I'm not sure that I've seen the group specific advice presented in the book on the internet anywhere. The real value of the book, to me, was the end. There are several sections, many of which didn't relate to what I'm looking for (basically tips on where to find lots of easy women). However, there was one section that all men should read. It contains info on how to protect yourself from divorce and. Those in buisness law probably already know this, but people in most other fields won't so it's a good value for that, perhpas even more so than the actual pickup advice. I have asked friends in business law and his advice is 100% accurate and real. FYI This is my first review and I'll probably read it again in a while and update the review to add more specifics that may help you decide if it meets what you're looking for. I'd also like to encourage more people to look at review author histories and to write reviews for books they've read because I've noticed that many books either have reviews from people who give everything 5 stars or who only reviewed that product. Some books also have two reviews that are polar opposites and have over a hundred people finding each helpful. All of this makes it hard to judge the usefullness of reviews. A hilarious bachelor's guide from a cocky, mildly devious, womanizing psychologist. Emotional influence and social persuasion advice times ten. Every ad uses these same techniques, Tate just writes it for men to attract women.
Extensive Alpha Male self-improvement advice; Image, attitude, body language, profiling, approaches, how to create sexual tension and attraction right off the bat. He basically explains from a psychologist's view how to strike a balance between the silent, confident, rough-and-rugged stud, and the classy, suave, and sophisticated charmer. The pre-marriage Asset Protection guide rocks. Just reading through it will save 3 or 4 high dollar billable hours by being prepared before going into the office, instead of sitting there handing over cash and nodding like a fool about things I know nothing about. For that alone this book saved me a grand, not to mention half my net worth when I get it all completed. (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-12-27 03:16:54 EST)

The Advice: Marriage is a business contract. You insure your house and car, you better have insurance on your assets.
Tate walks you through the steps to shield your assets buried deep in layers of LLCs, Trust's and other legal vises to keep you from any possibility of being divorced into bankruptcy. The costs are reasonable, the results are priceless. Not just the money. The freedom of knowing someone can't destroy your life. Not just in divorce, but in junk lawsuits. Ask any divorced guy if this book would have changed his life. Marriage is a 50/50 crap shoot, and the guy loses in every payout. Lousy odds. This book changes all that in your favor. Every single guy considering marriage needs this book. (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-12-03 19:32:44 EST)

This book shows you what you need to attract women, but what I really liked was what to do when situations don't go as expected. It helps you understand how to choose your interactions wisely and how to approach women accordingly (Personality Profiling) or recover wisely to avoid getting burned (Damage Control). Like identifying the high maintenance types, gold diggers, boring plain Jane's, and psycho chicks. It seems the author has been burned badly by some of these women throughout his experiences. It's not to scare anyone away from meeting women, but more of an awareness to identify potential warning signs when regularly meeting strange women. Like, when to cut your loses and get out quickly before it gets too messy, a valuable skill to have in one's social skills toolbox. It's a reminder that women too can be very clever when playing the mating game (i.e. Schemes, Deception, Con Artists, etc...).
There's a lot of excellent info on how to protection yourself too, especially financially (Asset Protection Plan). This book is a must read before considering marriage, as divorce is a flip of a coin these days, usually at the man's expense. It also compares the differences in social expectations, here and abroad, decades ago and now, before and after women's liberation (feminism) and the expectations men and women have today as opposed to those from a few generations ago. The only thing I didn't like about the book aside from numerous spelling & grammar errors was the book wasn't organized well. The chapters are blobbed together in an unintuitive manner. There's a ton of valuable information, but it's difficult to go back and reference something without having to do major earmarking and highlighting. If I wanted to reference something I read earlier, it'll take me forever to remember where I read it to review again (ie. when women use sex as an exploitive weapon). Overall, I liked the book. A bit on the pessimistic side, but definitely a worthwhile read. I recommend reading several similar books to get different perspectives when optimizing your game with women. I've learned something worthwhile from each book I've read on this subject. Other books I liked: The Mystery Method: How to Get Beautiful Women Into Bed The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists The Layguide: How to Seduce Women More Beautiful Than You Ever Dreamed Possible No Matter What You Look Like or How Much You Make (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-11-26 15:15:46 EST)

A ruefully true but somewhat nasty lash at the behavior of contemporary women. Screamingly funny in parts. The advice is not that useful to any moderately sophisticated male. The author concludes that the pickings are better overseas, which somewhat negates the alleged purpose of the book.

A very engaging body of work full of insight, wit, raves, psychology, and energetic writing. Tate is a seriously original wordsmith who makes every paragraph fun to read. I love the title. We can all relate to the neurotic nature of most women, and the author's advice is great on showing how the selection process is paramount to a life of sanity or slavery. You can open it up to any page and jump right in. Very Howard Stern at times. Get it.

This horrendous "person" (is there another, better word?) states:
"The Art of the Pickup involves analyzing your target, determine her values, beliefs and weaknesses, and role-playing her desires. Sexual Persuasion occurs by stimulating her subconscious emotions and desires. You create value and scarcity for yourself, remove her barriers, build trust, and initiate the close. The best Pickup Artists are teasingly cocky, have a cutting sense of humor, and the poise to pull it off with class." Class? It's men like this that have caused so many sexual harassment claims to be paid, and gotten sexual harassment laws passed. I guess the author has been good for something! With so much complete lack of respect or "humanness," no wonder so many women have come to hate men! Keep up the good work, buddy, maybe one of those "psychos" you exploit will come back at 'cha with a knife one day! Shades of movie-filmdom... you might not get "15 minutes of fame," but you could rate a headline or two. After the fact. "Alpha Male?" PIG would be a better word. I'd like to meet YOU in a dark alley one night! Your book is about a worthwhile as you were, having to pay money for sex since no one wanted to ever give it to you "for free." Hah! Dating guides often seem written by posers, metrosexuals and wannabees; they take themselves way too serious. This book has excellent social interaction advice, persuasion and influence strategies, and self-improvement tips. It perfected tailored to help understand the various female personalities, what makes them tick, and how to adjust to each.
I've read similar advice stuff by K. Hogan, but this takes apart the techniques of actors, politicians, and salesmen and applies them to picking up women. (steering conversations, creating emotions in the customer, while luring in the target subconsciously.) While written for instruction, what makes this book great is Tate's gripping sarcastic humor of the current dating landscape and the whole game itself. The Inner Psycho is a great tag line, and perfectly describes so many self-centered, vacuous neurotic women men get stuck with. As far as the author, let's just say they clank when he walks. His writing flows like conversation, and is quite hilarious at times (think Stern or Leykus). There's a lot of psychology in here, some of it I followed, some made me curious. It's a Bachelor's guide, as in being smooth with the ladies while being a man, and creating a stress free, great lifestyle...and its just damn fun to read. Having read the Game, Amazon recommended this title, and I can see why.
The real alpha male is simply a Manly Man. This book is a masters course in becoming one, while learning to watch your back in dating until you master yourself. It covers presentation, psychology, self-worth and evaluation, charisma, execution, speed seduction, the whole game. So many guys lower themselves into living lives defined by women and other people, and get lousy relationships to match. Tate shows you how to be a player in a very positive sense, how to be playful, interesting, smooth and successful with women. It shows how worthless pop culture and political correction advice is, and advises being masculine and not apologizing for it, how to raise the bar on how you will allow yourself to be treated, and to hell with people who don't like it. Every woman deep down is sexually attracted to men with a healthy positive sense of self-worth, attitude, and biting sense of humor. This is a great book for all men, whether you're single, or married. (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-11-20 04:16:47 EST)

Well-written exaggeration is both funny and entertaining, and it's easy to see why The Professional Bachelor sells so well. His vivid to explosive dating descriptions and advice, analysis of the female agendas in dating from a male point of view hit the nail on the head, and are laid out in pure black and white. A person would have to be in complete denial not to see the inherent disasters that lead to divorce by choosing the wrong girl. Tate is a proud male chauvinist, obviously has a buffet of in-field experience, and he gives seriously interesting, and accurate descriptions of a dozen different personalities, and how to approach and pursue each. You'll read descriptions of neurotic girls you've dated that are so accurate it's like deja vu. There are numerous LOL comments, many are tongue in cheek, and many you bite your tongue because they are so accurate. Plenty to laugh and learn here.

With engagement a real possibility for me, it was time to protect myself from the potential slavery a divorce can be. With the odds at 50%, only a fool wouldn't protect his assets, just in case things go bad. I have plenty of friends of divorced friends who didn't, and it isn't pretty.
(Review Data Last Updated: 2007-11-11 18:32:22 EST)

It is worth reading every word. If you want sex to happen to you in your life, read this book and work it. I am happy to have found such a book and encourage all the single men out there to read and apply this information and to use what's important to them and their personality. I am using the information from this book and I can honestly say, it really works! Additional bestseller which wowed me is The Exclusive Layguide: When Dating and Having Sex with Incredibly Hot Women is No Longer Mirage Even If You Don't Look Like a Model or Don't Make a Fortune This book is one description of a set of techniques that will help improve your numbers.

Women have innumerable everchanging defense systems and techniques to keep them from meeting men, which is presumably why they go out to clubs. The Professional Bachelor is a great book for handling their illogical to emotional personality traits, seeing through the games and taking the upper hand in first conversations with new girls.
In a great writing style, Tate shows how smooth conversation is a learned skill, and this book is one of the best I've ever seen for teaching the dynamics of how and why a conversation approach works, all the PUA ins and outs, and how to have great fun controlling any situation while acting naive to the whole game. Any guy will pick up a ton of new stuff, and learn why his own approach is or isn't working, and how to improve it. (Review Data Last Updated: 2007-11-02 12:57:14 EST)
