This book is a great resource that provides a terrific history and can help identify the various Y-block versions and years and provides some help with interchangeability of parts. It would have been nice to have more detail, but the book is very well worth the price. I haven't tried following the step by step rebuilding instructions yet, but it appears to be very well written and thorough.

For those who collect cars or are just fans of the 1950s cars this is a great book with a wealth of information. Detailed about the Ford Y Block engine that Ford produced for passenger cars 1954-1958 and trucks through 1964. Good pictures and plenty of how-to illustrations.
