LADIES...get this book...
As a few of the other reviewers have mentioned, it is exactly the opposite
of everything that kind mothers have worked hard to teach their sons.

Indeed this book and others of the type will help men be more "manly".
However, it is very dismissive of most women in general and makes
fun of those women who have problems in particular.

Besides being hilarious as the other female reviewer stated, I feel
it shows you exactly what most men THESE DAYS are thinking.

Before you jump through hoops to get a man who really doesn't
want you, please get this book. Yes, it unfortunately supports
the author but it will arm you with knowledge.

I recommend all the other books in this genre, including THE
ART OF MACKING and HOW TO BE AN ALPHA MALE.

I give them to intelligent, loving, accomplished women as well
as young girls who are first time daters and the "chickenheads and
gold diggers" (really women with problems, not those disparaging
names).

This is not just the mentality of the marginal element of society
(pimps, thugs) but of the common man too, as more of these kinds
of books and websites pop up.

Remember ladies, MORE THAN ANYONE we WOMEN need to be up on "the
game".

Thats what Mr. Nasheed is doing. He's laying down all the rules of the game, and with skills applied, one can reach his full potential.

i have never had a problem with getting women. however when i was bored at work one day (i work at a library) i picked up this book and read it. this book is simple and straight to the point when it comes to understanding the dynamic of male/female interaction. if your someone who is slipping on your pimping this is definitely for you. or if you dont have a problem and just want a good easy read thats assured to give you a good laugh then pick it up as well

First, I am a woman and I bought this book on February 2007 for a love interest. I don't know... I was looking for a valentine's day present and was looking for something different. So I spotted that book and the cover just cracked me up. The guy's serious face, the title, the pose, the Asian girl... priceless. My boyfriend and I read it and we laughed so much... By the way, we are getting married this summer and he's the most perfect guy ever.

Now, I have to say this: the book is mostly intended for guys who are perfectly content dating weirdoes. The book offers advice on how to spot these women and get whatever they have to offer: cash and sex mostly.

The book is useless to anyone interested in finding a soulmate and starting a serious relationship with someone worthy. It just perpetuates stereotypes and cliches: "money hungry chickenheads, nymphomaniac female players and daddy issues ridden women" and that's what makes the book hilarious. Now, I know there are women like that out there but that's not it. Any guy who goes out in the dating world armed only with the type of cynicism contained in this book will not find happyness as he will only attract the type of women he should stay away from.
That Tariq guy is seriously messed up himself and is pretty much a man-whore who is dating women with issues worse than his.

every woman and man should read this book to understand how the game is played. one word to desribe this book is brilliant

another great book my Tariq. really breaks the game down. there are many haters out there that want to hate on the title of the book because they cant say anything about his material. he speaks the truth and many people cant handle it. great book

I bought three of these books. One for myself. Then, after reading it, for my son (20yrs), and for my daughter (19yrs). The information contained in this book is exactly what I wished I had known before learning the hard way. If you are aware of someone who doesn't have a father figure to run down some of the finer points of GAME, I would recommend turning them on to this book.

Humorous and instructional. Especially for young men who are learning the "game". The truth cuts like a broad sword.

I believe that most of the women who dis the book are probably the "unattractive, bottom feeders" and men who do likewise are the fellas who need the book the most.

Way better than the art of mackin. Has more detail than the "Game" by Neil Strauss. A must read for begining macks.

Tariq makes some good points here, and offers an entertaining read, but most caucasian males wouldn't be able to convincingly implement his "pimp" approach (which black males can successfully get away with because it's more or less become an accepted stereotype that many young bar bimbos find attractive, due in large part to the unprecedented glamorization of black celebrities in popular culture - but it would take a pretty slick white dude a la Kevin Federline to pull off that Super Fly jive on a chick with a Britney-sized IQ)... the bottom line is, black guys and white guys are worlds apart as to how they market themselves and what kind of approach they use in the pick-up game and, therefore, this book isn't the most practical where a young white dude is concerned.

To summarize, there's some helpful common ground to be found here, but it's basically geared to the under-30, Afro-American perspective (otherwise, it's a good primer for a white guy interested in meeting black women and understanding their mindset).

After a full year of putting off reading this book, I finally gave in and purchased it(I'm glad that I didn't preorder it). Overall Tariq's style is pretty standard. He doesn't get into details about how to keep your G tight around a wider range of birds. This book is for the ghetto fabulous. However, Tariq does lay a pretty decent foundation for squares. Some of the stuff he mentions you probably already read in The Art of Macking. Save some bread, buy it used(like I did), or read it at N&B for free.

The age old saying, 'keep your friends close and your enemies closer' could not be more apt. You see anyone can continuosly win a game of which only they know the rules. Women really like a man with game but they just won't admit it. I enjoyed it

I don't understand all of the raving reviews on this book. This book contains basic but solid advice on getting your game together. As such, it's good for newbies, newly divorced guys getting their approach act together, frustrated guys who have never been successful and want to change their course, and so on. However, for those guys who already have some game down, this book adds nothing new.

Overall, this book is heavy on philosophy and descriptions and lite on actual implementation. While it's very important to have a solid inner-game, that's only half of the equation. It takes more than having confidence to have success, although that's certainly part of it. When you see that person of interest across the room, this book is of no help formulating the initial words that come out of your mouth. Likewise, if you're going after the really good-looking women who's already been approached seven times that night, there's no advice here to distinguish you from the pack.

So, this book is good for guys at the beginning of their game. Else, for guys who already have some success and want to move it up to the next notch, there's a lot of better resources in the seduction community.

King-Flex, or Tariq Nasheed, issues the following 10 Commandments: 1) Mackin is 20 percent talk, 80 percent attitude 2) There are only two ways to handle any relationship situation: like a trick or like a mack 3) To be a true mack you must have integrity 4) Always qualify your females before you start mackin 5) Respect the rules of the game 6) A true mack must be tactful 7) A true mack must always have options 8) Never follow your woman 9) A mack must constantly upgrade his game and reinvent himself 10) Require your females to bring more to the table than just sexual gratification.

Nasheed elaborates on these commandments and much more in The Mack Within. I thought the book was excellent and highly suggest anyone who is seriously interested in stepping up their game get this book.

I picked up a copy of this book just last week. This book is pretty tight!!! The only other book that I enjoyed just as much was "Mode One: Let The Women Know What You're REALLY Thinking" by this pimp named Alan Roger Currie. That is a good read too.

But this book is written in layman's terms, and he hits so many points right on the money!!!!!! Like, for example, when women sense that you are sexually lonely or desperate, you ain't gettin' NUTHIN from them. But if they think you have a lot of other options for sexual companionship, they come in droves.

Pick up this book, and Mode One, today!!!!! Get your pimp on!!!!

If you've read any of those '90's "How To Treat A Woman" books and you've turned into a doormat for some thankless ho it's time to read The Mack Within!
This book tells you how to really treat a woman, regardless of how they think they want to be treated.
I used to have tight game until I decided I wanted to settle down and get married. I read a few books on relationships and how to shower your woman with gifts and praise, and be a sensitive guy...........BS!!! Well ladies, the mack is back!
And some of you fellas' ... if you're wondering why you have a lot of female friends but ain't seeing no action..... read this book.
PS: I don't know why Tariq had those stank's pose with him on the covers of this book. They are fives or sixes at best. Don't let that affect your decision to buy this book. The info inside is worth it's weight in gold pinky rings!

I first became familiar with Tariq from watching him on MTV...I was amazed to find out that the whole "mack" book series has been happening for over five years,and that Tariq had a large ,almost cult-like following...Well after reading The Mack Within,I'm now a follower myself...This is by far ,the best dating/relationship book thats out on the market.

We live in a female dominated society..Where men are forced to be sensitive,and to basically live like wimps..This book is going to change that social dynamic as we know it..This book is the ultimate wake up call for men..I advise all men to get this book before it gets banned

I'm a big fan of all of Tariq's work..But this time he outdid himself with The Mack Within...This book answers a lot of questions that were not in The Art Of Mackin. This is an excellent book to get if you are serious about upgrading your game.

Back in the 1980's and 1990's, I was "captain Save-A-Ho" and all the other names Tariq gives for tricks and Squares. Basically, I was a extremely shy guy who thought I could impress women with money, frequently went to strip clubs, thought with my penis instead of my brain when it came to women, and let women in the relationships I was in control and manipulate me.

When Tariq came out with the Art of Mackin' in 2001, it opened my eyes to the world of pimps, players, and macks. It also caused me to re-examine what I belived and have learned about women from other men who I now know are tricks.

The Mack Within is a revised and improved version of the Art of Mackin. This book will help you re-examine the way a man approaches and interacts with women in the club scene as well as other places. It differentiates the different types of women. It tells which women to avoid and gives guidelines on that first date, getting a women to sleep with you, and how to get a woman to bring something other than sex to a relationship.

Today, both books have helped me become more confident about approaching women and helped me to avoid waste time, money and energy on the wrong women (chickenheads and gold diggers). I don't go to strip clubs anymore and have better relationships with women who choose me. This book will help you transform from a trick and a square to a player and a mack with cheese!!!

This book does gives good advice however I dissagree with Tariq Nasheed on somethings like he says never ask a woman for her number instruct her. Women don't like what to be told to. And I don't see how women can have a problem with the nice guys instead they what these stupid bad boys. Back in the old days they had classier smarter women unlike conservative girls this generation.

Women turn down guys on purpose to make themselves feel empowered (like their better then men) PLEASE!

I gave this book 5 stars because i related to this book with every point he made...The things he spoke on i already knew from hanging around an older cat(a pimp type figure) and just coming up a young hustler experiencing and watching game...This book do mostly look at the game from a african-american man point of view but other races can read and take from it what it can to use in their life...all women are the same but they all are different too if you can feel that...but i recommend this book to any young or old male who havent had man training in this sort or came up shy, with no self confidence and scared to come out that shell!

"The Mack Within" is phenomenal! The way he breaks down the game as well as the different types of chicks, guys, situations, in laymans terms is nothing short of brilliant. Its like the bible of macking. The book is targeted a bit towards African-American audience (in terms of the references he makes), but the general rules/principles of the game are universal, no matter what race or creed you represent. I've been a fan of Tariq's for a while, but he outdid himself with this book.

The Art of Macking is pretty good in its own right. I liked The Mack Within better though.

There are many seduction type books for men floating around on the internet,but this book is the best by far...The game is straight forward,and to the point. I read the book in one sitting.I wish there were more books like this when I was in high school.

You can laugh now and spend a few $$$$ now, or be pissed off and spend a thousands $$$ later for years, your call (see Eddie Murphy & BabyFace). You can be a player or PAY HER! Those who fail to plan are the ones who plan to fail. Don't waste your time, wallet, and heart on someone who isn't up to your standards. Don't let your ego tell you that you don't need or don't want to read this book. I was the same way. I have read all of 3 of his books and they are GREAT. This book and others I have read "Doc Love The System" have really opened my eyes to how the women, media, and law have basically feminized men. I encourage every man to read, learn, and utilize the information in this book. Either the woman is going to be bringing something to the table or taking something from your table period. Definetly a worthwhile read more than once and I have recommended it to many of my friends.

I was a big fan of Tariq's first book the Art Of Mackin when it came out 5 years ago..I didn't think he could top that book..But yet he did it with The Mack Within. This book is basiacally an extension of the Art Of Mackin. The info in the Mack Within is DEEP..I really like how he teaches men to value themselves.And the list of Women You Should Not Mack To is classic...The game isn't for the faint of heart.

The master psychologist is back!! This book basically serves as a summation of the ideas presented in Tariq's previous books 'The Art of Mackin'' and 'Play or Be Played: A Woman's Guide to Men, Dating, and Relationships.' However, he sprinkles a little more game throughout this work. This is definitely a must-read for men on the dating scene, young men coming up, married old men, hell, for all men!! Also, pick it up for a good laugh as well.

I cant understand why tricks read books intended for macks!!!! If you are a manipulative female...then this book is not for you. If you are one of those guys that sings sweet love songs outside the window of the girl you are stalking....then this book is NOT for you. If you are one of these guys that pays for drinks for any and every girl that pays you the slightest bit of attention....then this book is really not for you although YOU should read it.

In an age where femininity has been marketed and bought by the masses, its good to see a self-help book from a guy that isnt queer or suspect. This book is for men who are ready to take a more active role in their dating situation. Men who have tried the "love them til they see you are the right one to be with" technique and seen its destructive forces at work in their life. Men if you want to be with dime women...be a dime man! I like the fact that K-Flex talked more about bettering yourself in this book. I liked how he talked about men who grew up with single mothers and it has affected some men to believe that they shouldnt be in the dominant position in the relationship. K-Flex, nor I for that matter, mean dominant in a violent way. The marketing of femininity has made that word just as dirty as f?@K! What he is talking about here is men who shouldnt settle for a girl who is subpar by your own standards. Mr. Nasheed does imply that certain women are not attractive but one should understand that those are his own standards...he uses himself as a point of reference. I dont agree with some of his comments about some women...I like them thick..not morbidly obese or a walking medical emergency. The women that he has on the cover are not all that attractive to me. Both of these women should put carbs back in their diet as far as I am concerned. But to be a mack that implies that one lives life based on his own standards and not those of others. Readers take note of that. If your version of a dime is a woman that looks like a fruit bat with a weave (that was hilarious) then go hang upside down in a cave....DO YOU!! As far as some of these negative reviews are concerned; does it strike you odd that the worst review came from a woman? This is a good book...worth a read but dont be put off by Mr. Nasheed's point of reference nor his or any of the editing staff to know that they misspelled Issey Miyake.

While I agree with the premise that men should not be manipulated and taken advantage of, it is ridiculous to think the only alternative is to manipulate women first. Mr. Nasheed claims there are two types of men, "tricks" and "macks"; he has, however, missed the shining truth that there is a third type of man: the Emotionally Healthy Equal Partner. To all the men out there, like Tariq, who have been manpulated by heartless and cruel women, let me encourage you to learn some healthy boundaries and get your act together. Then maybe you will understand how to have a good relationship with a good woman.

I read this book TWICE withing the first 3 days of buying it.The stuff in this book is mind blowing.....I recommend that every man read thisbook and past it on to other men so that they can see the light.
