Lionel, the star of the story, goes about his nightly wanderings he introduces us to the various members of the secret world of cats. You see, cats don't wander about aimlessly at night, they attend the Cat Academy, ride their motor scooters to restaurants and beauty shops, and make side references to _Breakfast at Tiffany's_.

Adults will get a kick out of meeting *Audrey* (imagine an elegant script font) who bears a striking resemblence to a certain movie actress--though not physically, of course. She is a cat, after all.

Meant for early readers (and their parents!) this book is a terrific buy in Amazon's bargain book section.
