This is an easy to read book and can be read in one sitting. Good for everyone to read.

A great book, short and simple but interestingly makes some good points. Took less than an hour to read so great for Dr offices.

This was an easy read and really opened up my eyes to some of the things we take for granted. The small things we do can make a great impact on our future success. Good or Bad, we decide by our actions. The story in this book really helps put the Golden Rule into perspective.

This is an excellent book for people who do not want a lot of detail. The use of a story about a real person is an effective way to commnuicate his points about what it takes to become more successful. This would be an excellent book to give a recent college graduate as a present.

This is a very well written book. I was hooked from the very first page. I could not put it down. I soon as I read it I started reading it all over again. That is how good this book is. Applause! Applause! I would recommend

Declarations of the Heart

After finishing Chris' book "The Angel Inside" I was only too happy to see another book that I could share with my young adult children as well as other "influencer's" in my circle of influence. I purchased 12 copies and will be reordering another 12 very soon....this is just too fun handing them out and then hearing back how good this book is...Nice Job Chris!!

I am French... Hesitation comes first when I find an English book to read... But when you have "finally" decided to read "The Angel Inside"... You just wait upon Chris WIDENER's new books... And this one is just like the other one. A library "pearl"...
When all these books will be available in French ??? They just show you how to take you life in the best way you will be able to take it... And this book shows you how to come from somebody to someone special for others...

Even though this is by far not the largest book I have ever read, it is one of the most influential ones. The plain sense language and conversations in the book make it very enjoyable and insightful. I have already read it twice in the very short time since purchase and I am certain I will read it again and again. It is also one that I will recommend to my children and my employees. It has prompted some very long thinking sessions where daydreams enact changes that I want to make.

After How to Measure Anything: Finding the Value of "Intangibles" in Business and Predictably Irrational: The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions, Widener's book is among my favorite about the topic of influence (but Widener should have read the first two). Although I'm not given to reading "inspirational" books (the other two titles are in the realm of scientific inquiry) I found it a useful and entertaining look at what drives and motivates us.

I'm more inclined to ask Widener "How can you say that works better, on average, than an alternative?" then perhaps many readers of inspirational books. The experience of a single person, no matter how moving, can only tell us so much. But, again, it worked for me.

With a nod to The Ultimate Gift,The Ultimate Gift (The Ultimate Series #1) Chris writes a book that is very readable and inspirational. He helps us sort out that education, though important, is not ultimate in developing a life of influence.

I quote one of Chris' mentors and mine, Jim Rohn. 7 Strategies for Wealth & Happiness: Power Ideas from America's Foremost Business Philosopher"Your education will get you a job, your self education will make you a fortune".

I hope Chris writes a sequel that will develop more fully the 7 area of excellence mentioned in the book. Each could stand as a book to themselves.
