With the goal of helping teachers achieve optimistic outcomes for the students they teach, this text focuses on ways for combining the “best” of behavior analysis, behavior management, and positive behavior supports (PBS). Translating empirical-based research into current practice, this book demonstrates the effectiveness of PBS with a wide range of learners with varying off-task behaviors. This text reinforces the need to seek “goodness of fit” based on each learners' developmental strengths and challenges.
